    Heavenly Burrito - @thegreenberggang
    Samantha C.

I absolutely love Omokase! My brother lives nearby and introduced me to them years ago and their sushi burritos have been some of my favorites foods since. Living in Florida, I've tried to find others but none ever compare. Until my most recent trip, however, I had only eaten from their Rancho Cucamonga location. The food at both is great, but I did like the RC location more. The Fontana location is a little larger and seemed slightly less crowded since RC is always busy. The staff is by far nicer, friendlier, and more helpful at the Rancho location too. It had been at least 8 years since I had eaten at the RC location and I don't even know if the Fontana location existed back then, but I ordered from here the first night. The burritos were good as always but the Omokase was my favorite! The spicy tuna inside is yummy and definitely has a good bite to it. The heavenly burrito came with a spicy ponzu dipping sauce and the Omokase burrito came with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The second time I ordered (before leaving to go back to Florida), they didn't give me any sauces and the lady at the front gave me a hard time asking for the sauces that they came with it. I found it strange since RC gives them also and I had placed an order well over $100, but she giving me a hard time about sauces they have readily available pre-portioned by the door. It struck me as odd and made it so that I was always order from RC from now. Although the experience wasn't favorable, the food is so good and with the right people, it should be no problem. Full disclosure: I've never eaten anything other than their sushi burritos so I can't vouch for any other food, but they are alone are worth 3 visits on my 5 day trip! :)

We came for a late night dinner and it's almost time for closing and they were happy to serve us! We ordered and our food was delicious and was out fast! Servers are all nice! Very clean Resturant with a lot of seating. Prices are average not going to break your bank. I enjoy supporting small businesses!

5 STARS! Just Don't Forget to Order the Edamame! First time dining here for quite a while. I've been here before for take out and visited the location in Rancho Cucamonga. Some things to set straight to begin with... this location and the Rancho Cucamonga location are ran by different owners. Both are excellent restaurants, but here... I have to admit, more love is put into these rolls. Let me explain how I know, and tell you what you need to know to enjoy your visit here. I visited here and dined in on a Saturday night for dinner. We got sat at the sushi bar, by request, at about 7:30 - we didn't have to wait very long to get seated as many customers were waiting for a table instead of the bar. The restaurant was already crawlin with customers. Once sat we ordered a pitcher of beer, then looked at the menu. We placed our order at about with the sushi chef, Jake, who then communicated the order to our server. Our pitcher came first, then the Sake Don, Salmon Skin Salad. After, the two rolls. To be honest, there was quite a wait before the food started coming out... which was about 20 minutes from the time we ordered. YET, everything was well worth the wait! All complaints put aside. No kidding. In all honesty, everything was amazing! The rolls were made with skill, each roll was made with generous slices of fish. The rice to fish ratio was well balanced with the amount of fish outweighing the amount of rice. The Don was bomb! The Salmon Skin Salad was pleasing to the soul! Moreover, when the pitcher of beer was served, it was accompanied by two super-chilled glasses that looked like they were made of ice! Some other highlights worth mentioning: 1) They have many beers on tap, all the usual suspects found at a sushi restaurant... BUT, also including Orion Beer! I've been to many sushi restaurants and this is the only place that I've encountered with Orion on tap. Usually it is served by the bottle only. 2) They serve Carpaccio. Your choice of Salmon, Albacore, or Tuna. 3) Blue Fin Tuna is also on the menu, specially served. 4) The sushi chefs were courteous and friendly. Jake served us and was awesome. The servers were relatively busy but still attentive. Excellent ambiance overall! I will definitely be back! The only thing I could sincerely complain about is that around dinner time they get A LOT of to-go orders; so, it was a little annoying to see a lot of these orders get filled while having to wait about 20 mins before my food was served. Therefore, if you are hungry and are dining in... order the Edamame and ask them to bring it out the same time as your beer. Not sure why this restaurant gets a 3.5 star overall review... more than likeyly because of some of the wait involved. Overlook that. The restaurant currently has an A rating. IGNORE THE POOR AND SOUR MELODRAMATIC REVIEWS, and just try out a single roll. Chances are you WILL NOT regret it!

    Volcano Roll
    Mr. C.

Yeah it was pretty bad. I've never been a big sushi fan but this one took the cake. Got me a volcano roll, they add all these concoctions to it, what threw me off was some parts of it were warm and some was cold, and I didn't like it along with the random mix of the breading, the sushi and this weird red paste above it. I didn't eat most of it because I was hungry but never again. Let me tell you about the wings, you take a bit and the breading is all soggy and separated from the chicken. It's like they threw them in the microwave and inflated them up. The breading was terrible, only ate one wing, the chicken is chicken but those were some of the worst wings I've ever had. Volcano Roll: 5.8 Wings: 3.0

Had this sushi spot for dinner tonight for the second time, and I was quite impressed. The prices are reasonable, and the quality was very good. My favorite roll was the Rainbow Roll--it had a nice mix of colorful raw fish and fresh ingredients like salmon, tuna, avocado, and cucumber. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. My least favorite was the Baked Lobster Roll. It was a bit dry and felt like it had too much going on. Other than that, my experience was great. The staff were very polite and made sure my order was ready on time! There are plenty of seats inside. The restaurant area is busy since they do share the parking lot but there is plenty of parking.

This is a pretty sushi spot. I've been here a couple of times already and each visit the sushi rolls have tasted consistent and good. My favorite one will have to be the Lion King roll.

    Ichiban roll. So fresh

Customer service is a 5/5. Sushi rolls and quality 5/5 love this place! The ramen was yummy as well

Came in close to 9pm to satisfy our craving. We were hosted by a very beautiful and friendly team. The sushi chefs were all lined up by the bar busy with their creations. We had a good spread but this time we ordered just right to make us all content. It was a nice evening. Thank you Team Omokase.

No issues, good food, good portions, and fast, attentive service. I got a bento box with sushi, a roll and tempura. All of it was good and fresh. My friend got a couple of rolls that were bigger than we were expecting and very flavorful. The ambiance was clean but a little basic. Pricing was good, it was about $45 for both of us. I will be back!

Absolutely Incredible Experience at Sierra Noodle House!…read more If you're looking for one of the best hidden gems in the Inland Empire, Sierra Noodle House deserves a spot at the top of your list. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere. The restaurant is spotless, beautifully designed, and unlike any noodle house we've visited. The massive Hollywood murals featuring legends like Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Elvis Presley, Humphrey Bogart, Captain Jack Sparrow, Audrey Hepburn, Bruce Lee, The Beatles, and many more create an unforgettable dining experience. Combined with elegant crystal chandeliers, colorful LED lighting, and comfortable booths, it feels both modern and welcoming. The food was just as impressive. We ordered the Beef Bánh Mì, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, and the fresh cilantro, pickled vegetables, and tender beef created an incredible balance of flavors. At only $10, it's one of the best values you'll find. We also enjoyed both the Large House Sake and Small House Sake, served hot in beautiful ceramic bottles with adorable paper umbrellas. It's a fun presentation that adds to the experience. The menu has an amazing variety, including authentic pho, bánh mì, pad thai, garlic noodles, fried rice, chow mein, chow fun, Vietnamese rice plates, spring rolls, smoothies, desserts, and much more. There truly is something for everyone. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, organized, and clearly well cared for. Between the outstanding food, beautiful décor, excellent service, and reasonable prices, Sierra Noodle House has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. We'll definitely be back to explore even more of the menu. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Highly recommended! I've also tried chengdu zajiang and the sour pickled mustard with shredded pork, the stir fried potatoes, and the chicken with chili sauce. All dishes were excellent. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

Dish Highlights: Pulled Noodles was good, great bounce, great texture, real hand pulled noodles. Dish Improvement: Needs more Anise, a slight bit more rock sugar, cinnamon cloves, fennel, maybe velvet the chicken wings and thighs before stir frying....baking soda + starch? Needs some Ghost Pepper Powder for the kick, and probably some oyster sauce rather than just regular and dark soy sauce. Mung Bean Smoothie: perfect, made to my specs, 20% sugar. Just right. This is my second time here. I drove my rig into the plaza after coming back from my Sacramento dispatch trip. Last time I had the beef tripe noodles (B+) not bad, but worth an order. I had their lamb skewers the first time around...not on my recommend list, you'll do better at any of those skewer places in City of Industry along Gale Ave and Frank and Sons. I had there Rou Jia Mou Meat Hamburgers from what I remember, maybe because I was too full, I didn't finish it, and disregarded packing my bun togo...so that being said, the Rou Jia Mou was pretty mediocre. Nice interior though, very cafe like. Last thoughts: to be honest, for the last two times in the plaza, I was prioritizing the buffet place next door, but somehow always end up here at Changan.... probably the overall menu, vibe here feels more authentic....at least that's the vibe you get seeing a bunch of random Chinese FOBs popping in here at Ontario, CA when most of these folks predominantly live in Chino, Eastvale, Chino Hills, Maybe Rancho, and see definitely more East Los Angeles. Think I had their pot stickers last time, was pretty good from memory. Why the three stars? Because I feel I can make better 大盤雞 Da Pan Ji at home minus the hand pulled noodles and the overall quality of food is probably comparable to say Hong Kong Macau Restaurant Cafe in Rowland Heights, you get off work, you don't know what to eat, you find a place that serves local, street culture Chinese food but it's not that great, but hey, we say that about McDonalds, and we still pick up a Quarter Pounder every now and then.
