Stopped here for a quick dinner while my father was in surgery at the Kaiser hospital down the block. The food was very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The portions really big. Nice, comfortable restaurant in a large strip mall north of the Kaiser Permanente. I ordered a Pad Ka Paow made with ground pork. It is served with steamed rice. The meat has a rich, savory flavor. You could order it with ground chicken or beef as well. The vegetables in the stir fry are red, yellow, and green bell peppers and green beans. The dish is seasoned with Thai basil and is very flavorful. I will definitely return to try this meal again made with ground chicken or beef. There is a 15% discount offered during happy hours. The garlic pork spareribs came with a sauce that had a little kick. It was the perfect sauce to complement each piece of pork. The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious. The coconut soup was heavenly. Rich, bold flavors. I was feeling a little under the weather and it soothed my whole body instantaneously. The portions were much more generous than we expected. The restaurant is very small and the tables are packed a bit together so it can feel a bit cramped. Besides that the food was great they had great portions, and most of the staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside of this business was the young girl employee in the front. She was yelling at the other employees very rudely and made the atmosphere uncomfortable for customers (including myself). Overall it was a great restaurant and food was great besides the screaming hopefully that gets resolved.
