I love this place! It is the only place I eat Chinese food from! I don't mess with mom and pop shops where they only want your money and don't care to speak any English. The food is always fresh and made exactly like I like it: combination fried rice, no shrimp, add pork! Condiments are given sparingly, which is kind of annoying. Been going here since I was a kid! Food is great, service is quick and the workers are nice, nice local-family restaurant vibe. I am so sad and feel cheated...when did they change the container? Look how shallow it is, and look at the size of the entire plate (see the photos below). I ordered the 3 item meal, but had to order another medium container because of the small amount of food. Came out to $20!! Very disappointed. Costed around 45 dollars to for two combos. It was horrible. The carbonation of the soda fountain did not work. It tasted dirty, as if they have not cleaned the pumps. The beef of the beef & broccoli was not cooked fully. The bbq pork was chewy. The rice had been doused in soy sauce for flavor. We came from Bay Area to Etiwanda High School to attend the Bands of America competition. We had to feed 300 students and staff during the trip. We ordered fried rice, orange chicken and fried tofu vegetables from Magic Wok. We needed to pick up the food earlier at 10:15am. Magic Wok was willing to cook 32 trays of food for us and pick up before their opening time. Julie and her employees are very friendly and nice. They helped us to pack the food to Togo boxes. There are about 4 local Chinese food spots by my house, I've tried them all and this place is my go to! They have good food, are generous with their portions, and the staff is always friendly! I really like their chowmein. Sometimes I get it on its own, it's that good. My go to is the kung pao chicken or the mushroom chicken. Their green bean chicken is good too. Everyone loves their orange chicken, if it looks freshly made I will get some sometimes. The fried sampler is yummy. You get 1 of each: crab rangoon, eggroll, fried shrimp, and gyoza/dumpling. Came in today after YEARS! The Chinese fast food restaurant I had been going to for almost 20 years has closed down, so it brought me back here. It was a chilly night so I was in the mood for soup. My husband said that when he got soup here a couple of months ago, that it was pretty good. I thought I would give them another try. There was definitely a staff changeout. The lady that greeted me as I walked in was very friendly. I ordered 2 Wor Won Ton soups and a medium order of Kung Pao Chicken. The Kung Pao Chicken was just the way I like it. Tried the spicy orange chicken and jalapeño potato chicken...amazing! These are my new go-to entree choices going forward. This plate with tax is under $9 and such a great value and I prefer this place to Panda Express for generous portions, better value, and comparable yumminess. Only complaint is that while we were waiting for our food we saw a worker in the back drop several mushrooms on the floor and under the stove and then pick them up and put them back in the pan they were cooking with. I'm thinking this place is under new ownership/management because the food is not at all the same. The chow mein was completely bland and didn't taste like chow mein -- more like speghetti noodles or something. The rice was decent, but a bit mushy. I remember them having pineapple chicken in the past. Well now it's sesame chicken and very little flavor. Their orange chicken was also heavily battered and soggy. Pepper chicken had way too many onions in it and the chicken green beans, being the best item I received, still lacked much flavor. To cap it off, they ran out of Dr Pepper as I was pouring it. The cashier didn't know how to change it so I ended up changing it for them. That's not reflective in the 1-star review, I just found it humorous/interesting. Really disgusting! I'm appalled of how dirty this place was. Sure enough I do my homework, and go to the San Bernardino website and found this disturbing info from their inspector. Magic Wok, at 14600 Baseline Suite 420 in Fontana, was inspected Sept. 24 and received a grade of 80/B with two critical violations. A cook who took a trash can to the dumpster and then refilled it with more trash stopped to stir some food, without washing hands, on the way back out to the dumpster. Also, some food wasn't at a safe temperature, including multiple items in the walk-in cooler, which wasn't keeping cold enough. The inspector said the restaurant had to discard about 240 pounds of cooked noodles, 180 pounds of cooked chicken, 50 pounds of raw chicken and 10 pounds each of raw beef and raw shrimp. read more

The tangerine chicken was good but the the Kung Pao chicken lacked flavor & Chow Mein was so bland & I can tell by the color of it.
