The staff is always friendly, and it's nice that a few of them even recognize my girlfriend and me when we come in. It really adds to the welcoming, community feel of the place. I've been going to their Rialto location for a few years now. It's actually closer for me than the food truck but I actually enjoy it more! It's worth the drive for me and the service is always great here with very small lines so you get your food quickly. The chubby fries are my go to and recommend them to everyone I know! I love that they have different spice levels. I recommend buying the hot cheese (nacho cheese?) and pour on top The fried pickles are bomb too! I had the #2 combo, which includes one sandwich, one tender, and fries. I don't know the price of fries on the wholesale level, but it appeared to me that they were rationing the fries. I received what appeared to be a small pinch of fries (think around a dozen or so fries), and they were really soggy. The chicken itself was nothing spectacular, it tasted exactly how I expected it to taste, however, I do appreciate them for not having dry chicken. Google, Amazon, Apple, and Chubby's were all started in a garage, and they all share one special trait: ambition. However, unlike the Big 3, what Chubby's lacks is purpose. It feels like Chubby's originated at the height of the hot chicken craze, and although their ambition has allowed them to grow, far better options are readily available. I've been going to a chubbys since 2020 and they have been consistent everytime. Also, all my life I've hated pickles, HOWEVER, these are the ONLY pickles I will eat. The fried pickles are amazing! I'm going to be honest real quick, a couple weeks back I had Covid and I really wanted some hot chicken. My taste buds were gone and I was tired of not being able to taste any food. I found this place and had my wife go and pick up some food. (Of course I couldn't go because I had Covid). When she came back I could smell the chicken, like really smell the spices. I hadn't smelled anything for several days. I then felt my mouth watering and thought in my head that even though it looks good I most likely won't be able to taste it anyways. I took one bite of the chicken and I quickly coughed from the spices, then all of a sudden I tasted them. I took another bite and I was able to taste it! Must try! If you like spicy food I would highly recommend, we got Chubbys heat in the chicken strips and crying chubby in the chubby chicken fries. We didn't think the chubby chicken fries were as spicy as the chicken fingers, we don't know if maybe because the chicken is cut up in small pieces in the fries maybe you can't taste the spice as much there but we thought the chicken fingers were a lot spicier. In my opinion the chicken strips are the best value, they are a great size and comes with fries. The fried pickles were also good, the pickles taste like they are made in house. We also got the fried mushrooms and those were AMAZING. And they have a good system going, they gave us our food pretty quick. read more
