Finally made the 20-minute drive to check out this churro truck, and it was totally worth it! We arrived around 8:30pm, just before their 9pm closing. The menu is simple, which I like, but we still couldn't decide--so we both went with the 6-piece churros. We expected a small portion, but were pleasantly surprised by how big they were! Definitely enough to share, but no regrets having our own. The churros were served hot, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside--exactly what you want. They really hit the spot. This is the only place I would get churros for this side of the inland empire. I know there's other places with churros but this spot makes legit and fresh churros. Their chocomilk is ok and another thing is that the parking can get crazy and wait times can be long. But if you're craving some good churros then check them out. read more

Unfortunately, they're located on a section of road that's only accessible when you're driving one way. We parked across the street and noticed some broken glass on the ground . . . Ambience: It's not located in the best lit neighborhood, and it's next to a trailer lot where we heard some unpleasant noises . . . But I mean, it's a food truck, so you won't be staying there for long. Service: My friend got the 6 churros and her order was out right away. I got the filled churros and champurrado, which took quite awhile longer despite my having ordered first. English and Spanish available. Taste: Definitely some of the best churros I've ever had! They were amazingly crunchy while still being warm--I've only had crunchier churros that were dry and cold, which negates the whole purpose of such wonderful crispiness. The churros themselves weren't too sugary, and they paired nicely with the sweetness of the Nutella filling. The warm and cozy champurrado was even less sweet, so it was the perfect palette cleanser for another bite of churro without washing away all the sugar. You know the food truck is good when they have their own yelp page. We just so happen to be passing by on our way to the freeway and craving something sweet. I saw churros and the raving reviews so you know we had to stop. They are located right next to a tire shop on the right side of the road. There is street parking and some spots to the side of the food truck. We opted for the 6 pc bag of churro with a side of Nutella. $1 extra for the Nutella. I've driven by this truck a lot and it never struck me to pull over cause churros seem like a kids thing. One night though my wife yelled out "STOP!" Like I had run over a squirrel. She saw the churro truck and wanted to try it out. Once my heart rate went down we went up to see what was good. There apparently there is much more to Churros then i thought. Aside from the plain old run of the mill churro's there are cups, plates, stuffed and even bagged churros. Since we were on the way to see the Grandkids we ordered the churro thread. A beautiful spiral of crispy goodness about the size of a large pizza. In fact it is served to you in a pizza box. We also got the cajeta and lechera dipping sauces. If you don't know what those 2 items are they are Caramel and sweetened evaporated milk. We get to the grandkids and they were so happy to see us. Actually they were happy to see the giant churro. They devoured that thing and as always not even a thank you grandpa. The Churros BTW were fantastic. Golden crisp on the outside as tradition has it sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. The inside was soft and warm as it should be. I don't know what the schedule is I'm sure you could look it up on Instagram or Facebook but find this churro truck and treat the family with a snack for Netflix night. Admittedly I wasn't next to their lunch truck to actually pick up churros. I ordered wings from a truck in the same lot and figured "why not get some churros while I'm waiting?". Well let me tell you, aren't I just the happiest person ever having decided to do so. I grew up in LA and have eaten churros all across the county, every church here and there after a Sunday service or mom and pop snack shops, yet none of them compare to what I had today! I had very high hopes, but I should've known something was wrong when I was charged for the churros the bag of about six churros and some dipping sauce on the side and immediately I was called to pick up the order. There was absolutely no wait time And that should've given it away for me that it was gonna be a terrible experience. The churros were crunchy and good in flavor, but very cold. I feel that these were churros that were premade and are served once paid. They are not made fresh. I am very disappointed I drove a very long time. I drove 15 minutes to this location, which by the way is located in a terrible location at a tire shop served out of a truck and don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the roach coach as long as the food is good and this was not. There were no people waiting. I have had churros from various states within The Republic of Mexico. Believe me when I say that even in deep Southern Mexico, a bad churro recipe can easily be found! But... a proper churro should be light, not dry, crispy and crunchy with the capacity to melt in your mouth within the first two bites! Also... the dredging of the cinnamon & sugar mixture should be thorough and not overwhelming! This little gem hits the mark when it comes to taste and texture! My only complaint would be that they shake the cinnamon and sugar on top of the churro when they should dredge it in a container of some sort and quickly shake off any excess! So... it could use a good 50% more of the sugar/cinnamon mixture! But.... I can honestly say that they are as good as some of the churros I have had in the better churrerías in Mexico!! I didn't try the churro dips! But I did have mine with a nice cup of tea and it was a satisfying treat! read more
