The rice was cooked well but both the vegetables on the side lacked any seasonings. You could've tossed them in some garlic butter or given me a salt packet at least. I guess the food is edible, but for the $20+ that I paid for each plate, I don't think I got my money's worth in terms of taste and quality. New Hibachi Food truck in Bloomington saw rave reviews on TikTok and IG so I decided to give it a try. They are punctual and start setting up around 2:30pm and ready for the first order around 3:15pm. The food was delicious and serving size is good. The only thing that is somewhat disappointing is that veggies are an add on you pay an extra $5 for onions and zucchini which they added mushrooms to that my plate had half an onion with about 4 slices of zucchini. The prices are comparable to dining in at your local hibachi restaurant. I purchased 3 adult plates and one child plate and paid a little over $100. Our order: 2 hibachi steaks, MEDIUM, add noodles in both and 1 side of shrimp The meat was super well done and tough, with no flavor.. the noodles, that use to be OUR FAVORITE had a weird tangy almost sour taste to them. My noodles had almost no spice to them, while my husbands were EXTREMELY spicy, to where they weren't even enjoyable to eat. This was our first time trying out the shrimp. They were rubbery, tasted boiled and had a gross fishy taste to them. The vegetables this visit were even bad, soggy and gross. We were super disappointed with everything. $70 and we honestly just wanted to throw our food away :( What ever changes were made during the break they took from this location, I'd rethink if I were them. The best hibachi in LA! Their steak, chicken, and shrimp are all DELICIOUS! And that rice...omg. I could just eat a huge ass plate of that rice for dinner and be happy. This place is a rip off. I first saw this on Instagram and it made it a must place to try when I visited LA. It looks great on Instagram but that's all. They stay posted in shady parts of town and will rip you off with the quality of the food.
