    Spicy tuna, California, Spam Musubi
    David M.

So I tried this tonight at the Escape brewery in Redlands. Overall I was underwhelmed. I tried a trio of sushi tacos. I got a spam musubi, a California, and a spicy tuna. My biggest thing was the lack of flavor in the rice. It tasted like minute rice. You would think they would use Japanese sushi rice with a pinch of sugar and rice wine. Nope plain unflavored undercooked white rice that falls out with every bite. The spam taco was too salty. The California taco should have had avocado in it...but no. The spicy tuna was the best of the three. Overall underwhelming for 25 bucks. They also failed to mention they have a 3% Credit card charge. Just go get sushi instead.

    Salmon n tuna taco
    Gabby G.

I went to the lunch truck in Santa Ana. The service was good. Les then 15 min to get my order. I got the salmon n the tuna taco. To be honest I was dying to try them and I'm a little disappointed as the fish didn't taste as fresh. The salmon was served a little better than the tuna. I give it a 4 out of 10. Nothing compares to what we see online which kind of sucks a little bit because that's what made me go get them.

Outside they played music that I would've listened to. I was inside for the most part cus I was cold af but a couple drinks in and the weather outside wasn't that cold after all lol.. My first drink I asked for the lady bartender to make me a mixed drink with tequila in it. I wasn't specific on what kind of tequila & mind u it was NOT busy at the time.. it was still early like 9pm type shit. She already looked annoyed. Made me the drink and I asked how much. She says $11. I gave her a $20 and instead of giving me my change, she just looks at me and closes the register. Uh mam?! Really? I assumed she wanted her tip, but that's not what u do. How rude. I was gonna give her a tip but not my whole change WTH. Koo u have that. The drink was too sweet and barely tasted like any tequila was in there anyway. I ended up just ordering from the guy bartender the whole night and he got all my $5 tips and wasn't light handed on the liquor neither when I was buying double shots of casa migos! Great service on his end!! Overall this is a nice place to get together wit ya girls or even wit ya mans n have some drinks and have a goodass time!

We wanted a good…read moresteak and a place to unwind, so I took a chance on Ye Olde Lamplighter after seeing the reviews. Pulling into the parking lot, we weren't sure what to expect, this place blends right into its surroundings and gives major "if you know, you know" energy. It's literally next to a collector's shop. Walking inside felt like stepping into an old movie, very cozy, dim, and full of character. Booth seating is limited, so we started at a small table with the option to move once a booth opened up. Drinks in hand, we took in the scene and quickly realized this spot has karaoke and a loyal group of regulars who bring the entertainment. We ordered pan seared ahi and potato skins to start, and once we moved to a booth, the food arrived. The ahi was fresh and surprisingly good, especially for my first time trying it. The potato skins were classic and paired perfectly with our drinks. For entrées, we both went with the ribeyes and chose baked potatoes as our sides. The steaks came out tender, juicy, flavorful and honestly far better than we expected. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid‑bite and look at each other like, "Wait... this is actually delicious." And the pricing? Perfect. Almost unbelievable for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Between the great steaks, friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and the chance to just relax and enjoy each other's company, this place delivered exactly what we needed. We'll definitely be back.

I'm glad I didn't listen to myself, and we went in and had a great experience. I would say that this place is like an old-fashioned steakhouse, dark, but comfortable. The bar area seemed to be occupied by regulars, as did several of the booths and tables in the dining area. We met Lisa & Dave, the owners, and Lisa waited on us, while Dave was tending the bar. We started with two Old Fashioned cocktails, one a Crème Brûlée and the other a Blackberry. Both were unique, outstandingly delicious, and at $9 each, a real steal. So much so, we shared a second Crème Brulé Old Fashioned. FOOD: They started us off with a complimentary basket of Cheesy Garlic Bread. We ordered the Sautéed Mushrooms ($14) to share. My mother-in-law got the Lamp Burger ($13) served with fries, and my wife and I both ordered the Prime Rib (Queen Cut $37) served with veggies & fries. We both got the side salad, but I also ordered a cup of Chili Verde soup ($5). I asked for a side of blue cheese dressing and received a small cup of the homemade blue cheese dressing using Gorgonzola which was fantastic! We finished it off with their Brown Butter Cake ($10) served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I can't begin to emphasize how delicious everything was, and the service was top notch. I guess the lesson is, don't judge a book by its cover (or the parking lot). We had a delicious meal, fantastic cocktails, and excellent service. We'd most definitely return for another visit. Check it out!

Great customer service even though I'm not a regular. It's spacious with a huge projector screen for central viewing, as well as other standard big screens all around the walls. There are 2 pool tables. There's also a pinball machine and dartboard. There were other Niner fans here even though we were in the heart of SoCal, and we were whooping it up. Even though we were strangers, there was an instant connection. Best of all, the Niners won! I won't credit Red Fox for that, just the pinpoint arm of Brock Purdy. But the fun ambiance certainly buoyed the celebratory mood! The building is surrounded by a huge parking lot with a plethora of spaces. Why are we so devoid of real estate and parking in NorCal? The Red Fox is a great place to watch any game or just hang out. If I lived in the community, this would definitely be one of my regular haunts.

I ordered the hibiscus Margarita $6 and the hubster had the regular lime margarita...he's so boring at times ...lol! Proceeded to order chicken taquitos and hot wings.
