Since that time, I've reviewed over a hundred bakeries, but I feel that My Delight CupCakery has consistently made the best cupcakes. Their signature cupcake is their breakfast cupcake, which draws inspo from buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, butter, and a side of bacon. It evokes all of that. A simple vanilla cupcake from here assertively tastes of high quality, Madagascar Vanilla. My wife loves strawberry cupcakes and their seasonal strawberry shortcake cupcake is made of fresh strawberries and has a fresh strawberry filling in the center. I got an outstanding "midnight bar", which was a chocolate cake filled with marshmallow cream and salted caramel and dipped in dark chocolate. It's a fancy ding dong that pays tribute to the childhood treat, but thoughtfully amplifies the flavors times a hundred. I wish I could come here more; however, given that this gem is located in Ontario, the 72-mile roundtrip has been a deterrent. My Delight is outstanding because they feature fresh, top-quality ingredients, their flavor combinations are thoughtfully crafted, and the cakes consistently taste good. The only thing I'd say is that I wouldn't recommend the mini cupcakes as they're half the price of a full-sized cupcake, but they're a quarter to a third of the size of a full cake. Prices can be high, but the quality matches the price and I feel that they're definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

It was a regular, old Wednesday morning a couple of hours after they opened and there was only one customer in there at the time who was already seated, so it wasn't busy by any means. There were FIVE employees in there at the time and not one of them greeted us. In fact, I felt quite unwelcomed by their immediate ignoring silence and this, "what are you doing in here" non-verbal, emotionless vibe. When I finally bent down to take a closer look at the food, one of the ladies finally, seemingly reluctantly mumbles something. We (replied but) quickly left after that. Makes you not want to spend your hard-earned money at this establishment. When a place depends on the public to succeed or not, it's always odd to see when they don't care one way or the other. The next day, it was delivered and perfect! The delivery driver was very sweet and helpful. Everyone loved the food and there was a lot. We were all full and had a bit left over. Having been to London a few times I was really impressed by how traditional the tea felt. The scones, the egg and mayo sandwich, and the Viennese whirls in particular. Whenever I come in, bread is freshly stocked. In the mornings, I enjoy grabbing the jalapeño cream cheese bread. If I'm visiting in the afternoons, I like their brioche. I've tried an array of bread here, but these types of bread are consistently good. On an off day, I get the milky white chocolate bread. Their flan in the little ceramic jar is decent, too. I've gotten their coffee early in the morning when there are discounts. When I want to change it up, I get their sea salt coffee the drinks here are very decent when it comes to boba, too. Try the passion fruit with boba! The workers here always greet you, even when they're tired. They make their drinks quickly and are quick to assist you. It's clean inside, and it's efficient!
