Chicken and Waffle Combo 1
Julio C.

The Bs Chicken and Waffles is the best soul food joint in Fontana. I decided to get the chicken and waffle combo 1. I got three wings, a waffle, and Mac and cheese. It was so delicious. The Mac and cheese was homemade with a little toasty top of the Mac and cheese. So it had a crunch similar to Rosco's chicken and waffles. The waffles were good too. It was topped with butter, making the waffle melt in your mouth. The chicken was seasoned well. It was cooked to perfection. It was crispy. The service was excellent. There were a lot of people when I went. Overall rating: 5.0

Menu back

It's legit soul food. Chicken is crispy and perfectly battered. Side menus are amazing. We tried yam, rice and gravy, and greens and all of them were so good. Highly recommend to try yam and greens. Their green is tender and deep, cooked with meat. Yam is candied and flavorful with cinnamon.

Service and food was excellent! TikTok has done its thing because B's is booked and busy! I got the Combo 2- the Mac and green were very tasty. Food took a while to come out with some waiting over an hour after ordering for their food.

First of all, food here is AMAZING. Fresh, homemade, seasoned, and made with love. Everyone needs to understand this is a family owned business. They are not a chain restaurant. Yes there may be a long wait, but everything is homemade and fresh. They went viral overnight, and need time to adjust to the overwhelming amount of business they are getting. DO NOT let the wait stop you from trying their food. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. Plus all the staff there are so sweet. Been here multiple times and I've never been disappointed. Even with a long wait. Be nice, be understanding. Good things come to those who wait. It and definitely their good food!

B's Chicken and Waffles was great! The service was friendly and spot-on, and the food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back soon!

This place was on my list to try, but the reviews made me take them off my list. One day we were a few doors down getting cookies. And we were really hungry it was about noon. I seen B's and said I think this place is on my list to try. We walked in and it was kinda empty, 3 tables were being served we were excited thinking we beat the rush. A young lady told us it's a 20-30 min wait time cuz they were backed up in the kitchen. I was extremely puzzled cuz I seen only 3 tables being used. So I assumed maybe a to go order. As we're sitting there an about 5 workers just hanging out around the counter not knowing what to do with their time. And one person in the kitchen. Then I seen 2 different set of ppl leaving the dining area. So now there's only 1 table still being served, by this time 20 mins have gone by. A young man asked if we're waiting for an order I said no we're waiting for a table. He said oh let me see about seating you. By this time an older lady was in the kitchen with the other younger person I seen. The young man asks her can we seat ppl. I couldn't hear what she said. Then he goes to the dining area and come back and tells her 1. I'm going to assume that only 1 table was being served. She then gives him the ok to seat us. This was seriously the most odd thing I've ever witnessed at a restaurant. So we sit. 10 min go by the young man comes and asks what we want to drink. We told him we're ready to order. He said oh ok leaves then comes back with something to write. We give him the order and tell him we'll have ice water. He leaves and comes back 10 min later asking if we wanted something to drink. Told him again water. Comes back 5 min later with water. While we're eating for food I seen both waiters going back and forth to the 2 tables cuz they would forget something. Sooooo finally finally finally we were served our food. Let me tell you something. I grew up going to Roscoes chicken and waffles all my life living in LA. And since moving out here to the IE it's really hard to find a place like them or better. I keep my reviews very honest. B's is right up there with Roscoes maybe just a 1/4 off. B's you can tell you take pride in your food and cook with love. Now all you have to do is teach those youngsters how to cook this amazing food so you can serve more ppl at a time. I would love to go back soon but not if I'm waiting forever when there's minimum amount of ppl. Sooo far hands down the best so far I've had in the IE. Just make sure your not that hungry and have plenty of time to wait.

I figured it would be the same great food in a different setting, but unfortunately, my experience was pretty disappointing. First, I want to say that the person who took my order was very nice and friendly. Customer service at the counter was pleasant, and I appreciated that. As for the Anaheim Packing District itself, it's definitely a vibe. The atmosphere is lively, there's live music, and it's a fun place to walk around and explore. That said, it is very loud. The live music adds to the energy, but if you're looking for a quieter meal or conversation, be prepared for a lot of noise. Now, onto the food. The biggest disappointment was the baked beans. They didn't just have a hint of chili flavor they tasted like an actual bowl of chili. I'm talking to the point where I felt like I should've been eating them with crackers, shredded cheese, and sour cream instead of alongside catfish. I've had Georgia's baked beans before at the Irvine location, and this was nothing like what I expected. I also requested my catfish to be fried soft, but it still came out fried hard. The fish wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't cooked the way I asked, and it ended up being drier than I prefer. The mac and cheese was another letdown. The noodles were very mushy, and it seemed like they were buried under a thick layer of cheese rather than being creamy and well-balanced. It just didn't have the texture or consistency I was hoping for. One thing I also noticed was that I didn't receive the complimentary cornbread that I've gotten at the Irvine location. Maybe that's only offered for dine-in or varies by location, I honestly don't know, but it was something I was expecting based on my previous experiences. Overall, this visit just didn't live up to the standard I've come to expect from Georgia's. Since I've had consistently good meals at the Irvine Spectrum location, I'm hoping this was just an off day for the Anaheim kitchen. Unfortunately, with the baked beans tasting like chili, the over-fried catfish, and the mushy mac and cheese all in one meal, I left feeling pretty disappointed. I still enjoy Georgia's as a restaurant, but after this experience, I'll be sticking with the Irvine Spectrum location.

The first red flag was when I cane to pick up my pre-paid order I had scheduled for a 1pm pickup. It was not ready and I was told to wait. At 1:30pm I was still waiting and I complained that I ordered and paid days ago, and that this was making me late for my get together. They told me that it was coming out and preceded to hand me a tray to take back to my car one by one. I was in a rush and only verified that all food was accounted for. I should have verified the food was actually cooked! Both the mac n cheese and yams trays were horrible! The mac n cheese was just cheese sauce on macaroni and not baked. The yams were dry and tough as they were not candied at all! My guests barely touched it. Maybe the dinners are still okay but I definitely don't recommend their catering trays. I'll go support another soul food place.

Been trying to get over there since they opened and I finally had some time today. Went right after brunch & ordered 2 smothered chicken dinners, both w Mac & cheese & the others with red beans & rice & collard greens. Some of the best Mac & cheese I've ever eaten at a Soulfood spot. Seasoned to perfection, creamy, gooey & the noodles were perfectly cooked. Red beans and rice reminded me of New Orleans style and they were excellent. I didn't try the collard greens, but my Pot'nuh said they were on point! I believe his taste buds.... Now let's get to the main entrée! A little bit of the gravy got on my finger when I was unpacking the plates.... (because I took them to go.) and when I licked my finger, I knew I was in for a treat! This fried chicken was seasoned like our ancestors lives dependent on it! I'm serious. It taste like something my grandmother made back in Oklahoma!! Wait wait!! Then they put this smothered chicken on the bed of rice dressing or dirty rice.... I don't know what it is, but it is off the hook! SMH smh ‍ Now I can't lie, the prices were a little higher than I expected, but they give you enough food for two meals. So the smothered chicken was $28 and if I break that down, I just split it in half and look at it like $15 a meal. Worth the price to me. I will definitely be back and I'm glad the place seems to be doing great! It was packed with folks after church in their Sundays BEST lookin & smelling good!! Great ambience and the young lady at the register was sweet as she wanted to be!! Nothing but great reviews from this Guyy!! Keep up the great work!
