First and last time -- beware the dipping sauces I really wanted to love this place, but my first visit turned into a genuinely awful experience that I have to warn others about. We placed a takeout order with two 6-piece wing combos, requesting ranch and blue cheese along with an extra side of ranch. When we got home and opened everything up, all three dips looked like ranch -- but one of them was a noticeably darker yellow color. My husband smelled it immediately and knew something was off. The other two didn't smell fresh to him either, so he warned me not to eat any of it. I wish I had listened. I avoided the yellow one but ate the other two ranches -- and within 30 minutes I felt extremely ill. We're talking serious nausea, Pepto-Bismol, Tums -- the works. I was praying I wouldn't throw up. It was a miserable rest of the day, and the fact that even the "normal looking" ones made me sick that quickly is truly alarming. To make matters worse, the wings themselves were underwhelming, the breadsticks were disappointing, and even the veggie sticks didn't look fresh. Nothing about this order met even basic expectations. I came in the other day to find a bunch of kids "running" the place. They were all in the kitchen laughing and on their phones. IN THE KITCHEN. Customers are able to see into the back. It was so unprofessional and tacky as hell to see him holding up his pants with one hand while trying to stock with his other. Then going back to the kitchen to joke around. They are on their phones, removing beanies and replacing them, running fingers through their hair all in the food prep area. It's disgusting. It was obvious there was no legit manager there to run the place. It was just a cool hangout spot for these kids. The food was gross too. In their goofing around in the back they messed up my order and had to wait over 30 minutes to get my food. I stared at my husband as he finished his and then when I got mine, the cheese wouldn't even melt. The cheese was so dried out and disgusting. The restaurant felt chaotic and poorly managed, more like an employee hangout than an actual place to eat. There was zero sense of urgency, organization, or customer care. When someone finally took my order, he was extremely rude and clearly annoyed that he had to stop chatting to do his job. I waited over 30 minutes for my food while the kitchen struggled to keep up. I went back to the register to ask for a cup holder and once again was ignored. The girl at the register was glued to her phone and rude when she finally acknowledged me. Absolutely unacceptable for front-of-house staff. The food wasn't even worth the wait. The tenders barely had any sauce, the breadsticks were bland and flavorless, and overall the quality was mediocre at best. This location has seriously gone downhill. And for some reason the wings were way over cooked that they were dry. Nothing like the sweet chili wings that were juicy and flavorful! One thing I liked about the wings is that there is a lot of sauce. Some places toss the wings in sauce and that's it. When you are ordering to go, by the time you get home you need to reheat and having extra sauce in the container helps a lot! Another thing is they give you an equal amount of drumsticks and flats! The single meals come with 2 breadsticks and a bag of carrot sticks and celery. You have a choice of ranch or blue cheese as your dipping sauce. The breadsticks were thick and fat, could use more garlic butter or maybe a different wrapping? They are wrapped in foil which keeps them warm but then the butter garlic sticks to the foil and not the breadsticks. Wax paper might be a better option like how they have for crazy bread at that chain pizza spot. I don't like raw celery sticks but these ones were really good for some reason. The carrot sticks were typical carrot sticks. Nice to have these fresh bites offered. The ranch is amazing! I don't know if it's house made or from a container but it was delish!! There are very few foods that go hand in hand with a certain event. Like tacos on Cinco de mayo, or green beer on St. Patrick's Day, or chicken wings on superbowl Sunday. Having learned from precious Super Bowl sunday mishaps where food the pizza or the wings takes so long that the game has already started, I decided to place my order for 60 wings at 10 am for a 315pm pickup. I get there around 330, and the wings still aren't ready. And I had to stand and wait for another 30 minutes for them to come out. It was a really frustrating event. Multiple people coming in to pick up their orders only to be told there would be a long delay. A lot of people were pretty peeved off having to wait. Fortunately for me, the owner or manager approached me while I was standing there waiting, apologized for the wait, and asked what could be done to make the wait a little bit easier. I asked for a free beer and to my surprise me poured me a cold one from the tap. The ice cold 805 I had really made the wait a lot more enjoyable. So that was extremely nice of him. They have a really nice set up here. With large flat screen tvs everywhere. So you have a view of the game literally from everywhere in the restaurant. They have a nice bar area also, with a large window area where you can sit on the outside bar area but still watch the game and order drinks. The wings themselves comes out to about $1 per wing. So I ordered 5 orders of 12 wings all different flavors. It's really unfortunate too that the dressings are an extra charge. I strongly feel that any time dozens of wings are ordered, it should naturally come with dressing. That's a really big negative for this place. The actual wings are good. Moist white meat inside. Slightly crunchy skin. Great seasoning. The spicy one is spicy, I can only imagine the atomic ones. Seems like a great place to drink, eat wings, and drink some beer. Great atmosphere. Honestly I got the chicken tenderloins and they were quite excellent! The chicken was very tender and I got the medium búfalo sauce. This buffalo sauce is so so yummy! I enjoyed it so much this time around. The ranch really compliments the buffalo sauce very well. I'm glad I gave this place another try :-) I don't want to support wingstop anymore so this is one of the best next local chains that isn't too expensive. The last time I went, I felt like the wings were dry and they didn't add much buffalo sauce. And my fries unseasoned and had potato chunks (not even salt on it).
