Stopped by Charleys Cheesesteaks and was pleasantly surprised. The cheesesteak was fresh, hot, and made exactly how I like it. The steak was flavorful, the bread was soft with a nice toast to it, and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and got my order out quickly. I wanted to do a quick follow up to my previous post. I ate the sandwich that was "remade" which was only meat added to the bread but I appeared to have previously had vegetables on the sandwich (since there was lettuce and some sort of veggie residue on the box). I wasn't trying to be difficult so I just ate the sandwich. A few hours later, I got sick. I hadn't eaten anything after this meal and had expressed consistently that I cannot have any of their veggies in my food due to severe allergies. If a sandwich is remade, gloves and knives must be changed. The remnants of veggies on my sandwich was evidence that they hadn't prepared a new sandwich. I am totally disappointed right now. First, let me say that the restaurant itself is clean, well maintained, and looks great. Second, the staff was extremely friendly and on point, helped me through my order since this was my first time here, and there was plenty of courtesy. But it's the food that makes any restaurant successful, and frankly, I don't see how they are still in business after seeing what I ordered. There's the photo. Look at it. This is exactly how I saw it when I opened the box. The meet and cheese are seriously lacking here. Doesn't even cover the bread. I'm not saying that the sandwich has to be overstuffed (even though that's how most cheesesteaks look when I get them), but this is only enough meat and cheese for maybe half of that bread. I reluctantly ate it (I was in a hurry-never a good time to try something new) and it at least tasted good, bread was toasted and warm, meat and cheese had decent flavor, wasn't the best but it was acceptable, but there was so much bread and not enough substance. In my opinion, they would need to double the meat and cheese (and not for an extra free either) before I consider coming back here. read more

The Philly cheesesteak was disappointing. It had far more bread and cheese than meat, and didn't resemble a traditional Philly cheesesteak. What I got was a sandwich that unfortunately had tons of mayo, a lot of lettuce, a lot of tomatoes, and a lot of bread, a little bit of unseasoned meat and clumped cheese. The entire sandwich almost cost me $20 and I was unfortunately let down. All I tasted was mayo which was dripping from my sandwich. The food was absolutely delicious and came out within 10-15 minutes. It was super flavorful and they added a good amount of meat. It also kept well until we got home.
