Had a super random craving for a Philly cheesesteak sandwich so my husband and I found our way to the local Philly's Best in Ontario. This location of Philly's Best is situated on the outskirts of the Ontario Mills mall with ample free parking for customers. We came in on a weekday at lunch and they were pretty busy. Definitely a popular place for people to get their lunch sandwiches. Staff were well-prepared and efficiently moved through the line while maintaining quality orders coming out of the kitchen in a timely manner. It was apparent they were ready for the rush of people and seamlessly navigated through the crowd with a smile. Our order consisted of two cheesesteak sandwiches (one with double meat and the other with grilled onions), cheese fries, and a soda. The regular cheesesteak sandwich was generously stuffed with meat already. The double meat order was packed to the brim! Well worth the extra cost but definitely not necessary. Meat was tender and cooked/flavored perfectly for the sandwich. Cheese fries were also tasty. Wish the cheese itself had a little more heat or flavor to it. Definitely would have elevated the overall taste. They were good, but not memorable to the point of needing to reorder. Philly's Best in Ontario is serving up delicious meals with a smile. It for sure has got that authentic Philly feeling, consistent on the taste I will say that it's not always the cleanest spot when wanting to sit and eat. I got into a conversation with the guy about the fact that I worked at Amaroso's bakery where they get their bread from. Aside from the fact that I thought they were a little pricey that's just today's mark. a guy in my car and drove off and realized it's impossible to eat a sandwich while driving number one number two I pull over the first bite I take the bread is extremely tough and chewy 80% of the meat falls out with the first bite because I have to squeeze and there is zero flavor there was zero flavor. Usually I get killed with salt but this was the most unusual thing I've ever eaten in my life again I will repeat zero flavor the cheese had no flavor the onions had no flavor the steak had no flavor the bread had no flavor I am blown away. So yeah I really didn't want to do this because I don't believe in just destroy somebody in a review unless it's absolutely true. I got there at 12:16 and had to wait 10 minutes for my food to be ready. If it wasn't my lunchtime I wouldn't have minded but when you only get 30 minutes for lunch it doesn't allow any time to eat you food unless you shove it down your throat while driving back to work.
