My orders are Dave's #4 slider with fries and mild spiciness plus Mac'n cheese. I would said both met my standards - both are flavorful enough but not overly salty like their competitors. On our way home from work and school, I wanted to grab some drinks from Chagee Modern Teahouse in Ontario. We didn't realize Dave's Hot Chicken is literally two doors down. My eldest daughter was a bit hungry. We've been to Dave's once in the past. Thought we give them another try. We went thru drive-thru just like last time. Line was pretty short. Staff was pleasant and cordial. Ordering was easy and simple. Payment by credit card was fast. Food came out timely. We were on our way in a jiffy. Menu has a good variety made of Tenders, Spicy Buffalo Mac & Cheese, Hot Mozz, Dave's Bites, or Mini Sliders plus crinkle-cut fries and fun drinks. We opted for Dave's #1 that comes with 2 chicken tenders and fries plus 1 sliced bread, pickles, and a side of Dave's sauce. WOW, good size juicy and moist tenders! Quite tasty and delicious. Mild spice barely had a slight kick at the end of the bite. Medium spice may be our next try. I have never been a crinkle-cut fries kind of gal, but I will have to become one after eating Dave's amazing crinkle-cut fries. Another WOW, fries were crispy and crunchy on the outside and just delish on the inside! Love the bold blend of seasonings on the tenders and fries! Crunchy and firm pickles were good, too. Stopped by for a late night dinner and the restaurant was pretty busy. Staff was friendly and food was out in a decent amount of time. Out of the items I tried, I surprisingly enjoyed the hot mozz the most - super cheesy. The tenders or chicken sandwich weren't bad, but definitely weren't spicy. The popcorn chicken was a no no - super tiny bites of chicken that lacked seasoning. When I'm craving hit chicken, not sure I'll head back to Dave's as my first choice. read more

I had never heard of this place, but I found out about their free slider day and decided to go check it out. It was a bit slow for a fast food restaurant, but that was possibly due to a few more customers like me on the free day? Anyway, the burger was very good! I was especially impressed at the large size of it, as the word "slider" usually means a mini burger, but this seemed pretty close to standard size to me! I'm gonna be very honest, that review of how long it takes the food to come out even when the inside is dead and the drive thru has a few cars is very true. I love the food, but even with the front cashier being very sweet and nice, the output of orders is way too long. Mind you, i saw their POS that shows status of food orders and mine is the only one on there. I thought going inside would be faster but clearly it wasn't. I waited over 35 mins for 1 Slider w/Fries. I went and asked the front desk and they said "sorry, the kitchen didn't see it on their side" so if I never had asked after 30mins I would've never seen my order. The drive-thru line was packed, so I decided to head inside. It was busy there too, but thankfully the wait to order at the kiosk was short. My older son loves spicy food, so I got him a hot chicken sandwich combo, while my little one prefers mild flavors, so I ordered him a regular chicken sandwich without the spice.
