We had a good experience at Nik the Greek in Ontario. The staff was nice, friendly, and welcoming, and our food was served correctly and in a timely manner. The meal itself was good, but I do think the portions are on the smaller side for the price. We ordered the steak and chicken combo plate, which came with a side salad, a small piece of Greek bread, one chicken skewer, one steak skewer, and a small portion of yogurt sauce. Everything tasted good, but I was expecting a little more food, especially with the combo plate. For dessert, I ordered the froyo with baklava and honey drizzle, which was a nice sweet treat to finish the meal. Froyo is tangy and the honey compliments with its sweetness plus the crunchiness of the baklava. Our first time to try this ever. Overall, the food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. Picked up lunch for me and a couple of other people. I liked that ordering online as easy and we even got a coupon for $5. Which was great because my order for 4 people was over $80! What I didn't like is that I didn't get my full order. I ordered 3 salads and they didn't include the salad dressings. I also added on hummus to 3 meals and I didn't receive even one. The extra chicken skewer was very scanty and not worth the price paid. Seriously, it was hilariously small I was in a rush and so I found out I'd been cheated out of my full order items when I was already too far away to do anything about it. Very disappointing. Maybe I should have taken their oddly heavy hard to open door as a sign to choose another place. Thankfully the area has a lot of solid options, so you can feel good about skipping this place! On a Saturday, I have no idea what to eat for lunch. So I started searching apps for restaurants I haven't tried. Nick the Greek shows up and I order their beef / lamb gyro pita. The restaurant is at the same new plaza with stater brothers and many other restaurants and it's next to Nothing Bundt cakes. It's fast food, bright, spacious, and even with outdoor seats. There is one order kiosk and also a restroom. Service is quick, as my order is ready upon my arrival even if I am a couple minutes earlier than estimated pickup time. The beef / lamb gyro pita is big, very delicious, the pita is very fresh, soft and yummy. I love the beef and lamb slices along with Tomatoes, Onions, Tzatziki, Fries & Paprika on a Warm Pita. The perfect level of sourness tastes of tzatziki and other ingredients mixed really well! Recommended for pickup and when they offer deals! Nick the Greek is a small quick Greek restaurant in Ontario. They offer both sit down seating and to go. The woman behind the front counter was very friendly and helpful as we ordered our food. The food came out quite fast both for our sit down order and our to go order. I had the Greek salad with falafel and while the falafel was delicious, I found I was disappointed it only came with a small few pieces. The salad itself was okay. Checked this place out after my wife's nail appointment next door, and we're so glad we did! The cashier was very friendly and even gave me some great recommendations on which gyro to try. Came here for the first time on Sunday and really enjoyed the food. Service was quick and our food was brought out pretty quick as well. We ordered the Mediterranean bowl with pork and the Gyro plate. Overall I liked the bowl better than the plate but they were both good! I also preferred the lamb/beef over the pork. First time trying a Nick the Greek location, and it was a solid. We went with the beef/lamb and chicken gyro pitas with fries, plus an order of chocolate-filled donuts. The gyros were very good overall. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries being tucked inside the sandwich, but that's an easy fix. The fries on their own were solid. The real standout for me was the donuts. I didn't realize Greek donuts--loukoumades--were a thing, but they were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. This place is finally open! We were awaiting for this place to open, and we weren't disappointed. There is a ton of parking in this plaza, but parking in front of the restaurant is a bit cumbersome. It is within cross traffic, so park safely. It is a small restaurant and is known as a chain which started in Northern California. We were impressed after finding out that it wasn't a small mom and pop shop. We were greeted by a lovely cashier that was very patient with us. We had chosen to buy the gyro plate and she had let us get half rice and half fries. We also got a cup for water and the machine that dispensed it was located on the left side, near the restrooms. The ketchup and hot sauce was also located next to the drink dispenser. When we sat and waited, our food was served to us! It was super kind of them. Their fries were very crispy. Their pita bread was HOT, crispy, and flaky! When dipped in their tzatziki sauce, it was a perfect balance of garlic and tangy ness! I was wondering if I should have asked for a garlic sauce since I'm a big fan, but it was already perfect!! Their side salad was a wonderful zesty balance along with the feta cheese. Got the gyro bowl and spanakopita. Everything in the gyro bowl was good, salt the the gyro meat was not my favorite (it was cut very thick and had a strange texture) The vegetables all tasted fresh and crisp (however there were only 3 bites of cucumber which hopefully was an oversight and normal bowls come with more.) The spanakopita was among the best I've ever tasted. It comes almost like a diagonally cut sandwich. I thought it was going to taste "burnt" by looking at crisp level, but it was perfectly fried and was not greasy at all leaving the filling to maintain the perfect crumbly texture of feta. We live just around the corner and were excited to try this restaurant because we love Greek food. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The prices are extremely high for the quality and portion sizes. A beef kabob plate and a soda came to nearly $27, which would be easier to justify if the food matched the price. Unfortunately, the beef kabobs were not very flavorful and did not meet our expectations. Rather than complain, I simply asked for a small side of garlic sauce, only to be charged over $2 for a tiny ramekin. That felt excessive, especially considering the overall cost of the meal. What was even more disappointing was the customer service. The employee assisting customers appeared uninterested and unprofessional. She walked away while I was still getting my money out to pay and seemed visibly annoyed when interacting with customers. I also witnessed another customer who had been waiting approximately 40 minutes for his order. When he mentioned that his number had never been called, she rolled her eyes and responded rudely. During my visit, I never heard his number called either. I also observed her spending time on her phone while customers were waiting. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Poor Customer Service and Dirty Establishment Our experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. Sebastian took our order, and his attitude was absolutely unpleasant and unwelcoming. He showed no manners, no personality, and no basic customer service skills. Not even a simple "hello" or "you're welcome." Instead, we were met with a nasty attitude that made us feel like we were bothering him just by placing an order. To make matters worse, the entire establishment was filthy. There was rice scattered all over the floor, the drink station was dirty and completely disorganized, and the tables were covered with leftover food and crumbs. It was obvious that cleanliness and customer service were not priorities. The combination of Sebastian's rude attitude and the unsanitary conditions made this an extremely unpleasant dining experience. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and should be able to enjoy their meals in a clean, welcoming environment. Management seriously needs to address both the customer service and cleanliness issues. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and have no desire to return. read more

This is a new place that opened up next to the 7eleven. The service was great and it wasn't too busy when I went with my fiancé during dinner time. When we ordered and sat down, the served it our table which was nice. We shared the gyro plate with the beef/lamb meat and everything in the plate. The salad was also really good too. I think the food was reasonably priced and they gave a good amount of meat for the plate itself. There are TVs around but don't show anything and the restaurant is clean. It needed more tzatziki sauce. The pita bread was okay. The side fries part of the combo were dry and crunchy. I was not given or asked if I wanted a dipping sauce like ketchup or a small side of tzatziki to go with the fries. So I didn't really like them, though seasoned well. We both got the beef/lamb gyro pita combo with fries and a drink (add $3.75 for the combo). Our total came out to $32.50 plus tax. It's was really good! I couldn't finish my meal and had to ask Travis to help me finish my gyro pita . The meat was juicy and flavorful, the tzatziki is so delicious too with the combo of the warm fluffy pita with tomato and onions was perfection. We checked out this new Greek restaurant that opened up near our house last night. Nick the Greek is in the Stater Brothers shopping center right on the corner when you drive in. It has a small seating area inside as well as a few tables outside if you want to take your food to stay. You order at the counter and if you stay the staff brings it out to you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a few things I wish they asked in regards to follow up questions like which sauces we would like to try, etc but they're not even open a week yet so I think that will come with time! My husband ordered the Mediterranean bowl with lamb and beef gyro meat and I got the combination souvlaki plate. He also ordered some of the Greek fries for our table to share. I went back in too and ordered a side of toum (garlic) sauce. The food was really good- I especially loved the steak souvlaki I got! The fries were also delicious and had great flavor. The toum sauce was not edible- it was WAY too garlicky and this is from a huge garlic fan. You couldn't eat it without your mouth burning. I think they need to just work on their sauce ratios a bit! My parents got the chicken souvlaki plate which was good but certain pieces of the chicken were a little burnt and dry but hey we absolutely are not knocking them for it at all because it was their first opening day! The food is good and within reasonable price but the floors and tables always look dirty. Even when there are no customers waiting the workers just talk and talk and not even bother to clean up. The customer service is bad. They don't greet you, don't even ask you if you have the rewards program so you can enter your phone number. They never smile and they play Mexican music loud like everyone likes it. I just go and pick up. They have no clue about the restaurant app or how the rewards work. I would say there is no manager supervising the workers.
