From 3 stars to 1. It used to be that whenever I ordered during the week, my order would always be correct and my bowl would always be full. The last 3 times though, bowl is very skimpy and missing several ingredients. Today's half empty bowl was my last straw. Also, most of the time when you walk in to pick up, you'll stand there and be ignored till someone decides to give you your order. What's the point of the giant pickup shelf if you're going to keep to-go orders behind the counter? The food is decent and a healthier option than most places but this location isn't worth it. read more

I recently dined in at CAVA for the very first time in Pasadena. I loved the Harissa Honey Chicken Avocado Bowl so much I had to find another location closer to my home. Found them at Terra Vista Town Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Plentiful parking. Cool! Got here close to closing time and they were still packed with customers. It's a good sign when customers are still coming in till the end. Well done CAVA! Interior was bright and clean. Non-occupied tables were busted. Both indoor and outdoor seatings are available. Fountain drink station and selective standalone drinks are present for your choosing. Restrooms are in the back of the restaurant. Got in line with maybe about 10+ people ahead of me. I feel their system needs to be improved a bit. I understand they can't move forward with the bowls until the bowls in the front are done. Every step of the way, our bowls were filled, but just sitting there getting cold until the previous bowls are done. Not sure how they can improve the assembly. Btw, their ingredients stations were messy not the most organized bins. Crumbs of stuff all over the place. You'll see what I mean when you see the photos. They really need to keep their stations clean and organized. Anyway, I wanted to try the Spicy Lamb Bowl, but the meat didn't look as great as the ones at Pasadena. So I got the Harissa Honey Chicken Avocado Bowl again. The chicken was not in big chunks like the other place. Oh well. Got the bowl as the chef curated plus a few more toppings such slaw, tomato + cucumber, and tomato + onion. Unlimited toppings as many as you choose. Selective toppings such as avocado may have an extra charge. Soda water wasn't working great at the fountain station. Someone needs to check it out. Bowl was good, but was not as good as the one I had at Pasadena. Something was off about it. Maybe the ingredients did not have the same level of preparation and freshness. Not really sure. One more thing, this bowl doesn't normally come with a pita, but I was offered one pita free of charge at the Pasadena location. I wasn't offered the same here. Bummer! Staff was okay not the most welcoming and smiliest. Nonetheless, still a great place to get one of their Chef-Curated Bowls at varying prices or Build Your Own (BYO) bowl starting at $12.95. Just be mindful the price could add up with BYO. I may return again, but during earlier hours and not at almost closing time. Hopefully the stations will be much cleaner and organized. This company lost a customer for life today over $0.11 worth of arugula. They told me they are following the rules. Fine. Well this message is for corporate not the staff following the rules. The customer is the only reason you have a business. Being flexible for your customer is the only way you stay in business. Let's talk about basic unit economics. These are assumptions, but it's designed to prove a point. An average bowl at your establishment will cost you about $3.00. You are going to charge me about $10 before tax for that bowl. That's $7 in profit. If your rule is only two base ingredients, and a customer asked for a third (arugula)... give it to them... you have enough margin to absorb an $0.11 handful of arugula. Why risk angering the customer? Especially when the customer didn't get all the options they could have gotten, no dips, not veggies, just base (leafy greens/rice) and meat... meaning my bowl probably cost you sub $2.00 oppose to $3.00. You have plenty of margin to give me a handful of arugula. Regardless of the unit economic numbers being accurate, you have plenty of margin otherwise you could not operate. If you can't afford to give the odd customer an extra base here and there, close your doors and go back to business school. The customer is the only reason you have a job, keep them happy and coming back. Remember that. I have been coming to Cava locations across California since 2017. I have spent thousands of dollars across that time at Cava. Some weeks I'd eat at Cava 5 to 7 days in a row. And I've never had a problem getting the bowl I desired, until now. This one experience has lost you the future thousands I would have spent there with my family. All over an $0.11 handful of arugula. I WILL NEVER GIVE MY MONEY AGAIN TO A COMPANY WHO DOES NOT VALUE BEING FLEXIBLE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS... You don't want to keep your customer happy, you don't want my money... I hope for the day I read the headlines that Cava is closing locations and is going out of business. read more

I'm so disappointed in my experience I had last week. I always wanted to try cava but it's not close nearby where I live. I drove around 30minutes to this location. I get there around 8pm, Audrey took my order, when it was my turn to order I say hello she completely ignores me me instead she turns around to talk to her coworkers. Her coworker had to tell her I was standing behind her for her to even acknowledge me! Every time I had a question, she gave me attitude. I told her it was my first time trying cava and she mumbled something under breath. Her co workers started to help me and they were much better help. I never knew my first time trying cava would be such a bad experience. I won't be returning here ever again shame because the food was really good. read more

Each dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients. Typically wait time is pretty quick and food is always fresh. The only downfall that I see is little to no customer service not,that they're rude. It's just that they're trying to get everybody out quickly so if it's your first time there, I would definitely maybe research what they offer so that when you're ordering, you have a better decision of what you wanna try. So I love cava but this location is always messing up my order. I order for pick up and every time I get my bowl something is wrong with it. This picture is what my bowl looked like after ordering with extra toppings. It was the lightest bowl I've ever received. Even though the food is good here I don't know if I'll even keep coming back. Customer support is great with compensating for mistakes like this but I'm kinda tired of not having even a decent meal each time I go. I like ordering basmati rice with chicken. I get the crazy feta scoops. I add broccoli, cucumber, corn, feta, and pita chips. Their garlic sauce and yogurt dill sauces are super good. I hope they can get better at scooping food into a bowl because I'd choose cava over chipotle any day. They have good drinks too. There's always a huge line and they kinda ignore pick up orders so you'll pretty much stand there until someone stops pretending like they don't see you. Very rarely do I leave 1 star reviews unless it's absolutely deserved! And it my option it is I came yesterday for lunch with my aunt and my toddler as I love the cava in Rialto but we were gonna do some shopping so chose this location that was the first mistake! I order my daughter her kids meal now she's a good eater for the most part but she doesn't like her food touching so much especially if something touches her meat she won't eat it so I got her rice and chicken which was fine the sauce she loves to dip her bread in but to put her own amount on it they plop all the sauce right on her pita bread instead of separating it like heh do at the Rialto location so when it gets to the toppings I asked if they could put the cucumber on the side she said NO I said well she won't eat her meat or cucumbers if it is touching and she loves both!!! She said nope sorry she got no other toppings other then one scoop of cucumbers so why couldn't they put it in a dressing cup? I don't even care if it was significantly less well she puts on the plate and by the time the plate gets shuffled to the register it's touching. So I take her 9.00 kids meal to the table and guess what my toddler doesn't eat the food she loves because they plopped the sauce on top of her bread and her cold cucumbers were touching her warm meat ! So had to go spend money elsewhere to get her to eat! I will definitely not be back to this location and the Rialto location will be getting my service fully! If it was for an adult I truly understand that but it wasn't it was for a toddler whom they saw was with me! And my toddler was excited to eat! read more

This was my 1st time here. It was during the lunch rush (1:15pm). However the line moved quickly. If you like chiptole you'll love Cava. The ingredient are better quality and they aren't stingy. Loved the staff. Very nice and very diverse just like the customers. Loved it. The restaurant was cleaned. And the staff (even though it was very busy) was attentive to everyone's needs. I decided to try the Steak & Harissa bowl ($17). It had a small kick (spice) to it. It was delicious. This is one of the specialty bowls. I also tried the fried pita chips ($2). That was perfect with my bowl. It had a lot of flavor and was crunchy. I tried the different lemonade they offered. Cucumber lime with a splash of spirt was good. The cost was ok ($22 + free drink). This place reminds me of a healthier Chipotle. The ordering process is the same. I'm on a clean diet right now so this was another available option for me. Wife got it with chicken and it smelled amazing! For my "meat" option I got the Falafel which was good! Definitely didn't taste middle eastern but it was lovely. Came here last night because we were craving something fresh. It is located in huge shopping complex so there was lots of parking. It's just as described by other reviewers...Chipotle style establishment with Mediterranean food. The servers work like an assembly line, serving you at different stations. The staff were not overtly friendly. They were just very matter of fact, asking you whether you want rice or salad. The line was very long when we arrived around 6:30 pm but it seemed to move pretty efficiently. I was happy to see that none of the items I wanted were "all out" which often is the case when you go to a Chipotle or custom pizza place like Blaze. The only thing I noticed was that there was litter all throughout the restaurant since the workers appeared to be tied up serving and making food. We got a kids build your own and a bowl. They packed it in with everything we wanted. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Dinner was so refreshing. One of my fave items at Cava is their pita chips. We've been coming here for years and have never had the experience we had today (7/9/2026). Everyone was RUDE and gave the feeling they'd rather be anywhere but there. The woman who started our bowls finished with the person in front of us and went to whisper and gossip with the gentleman preparing food....my husband and I were just standing there waiting for someone to help us.... Like what??? Then when we were ordering they just seemed bothered with every little thing we asked for. And to top it off the soda machine had no ice.... And all the sodas were out.... I let the girl at the counter know that it was my first time so I did not know how it all worked- she could care less, she just stood there looking annoyed because I was looking at the menu trying to figure out how to place my order. She didn't offer any assistance or suggestions, so I opted for the Build Your Own option, which I figured would be the easier option. I had to pause at each option, because again, being my first time I had no idea what any of the items were and she just stared annoyed. It was very awkward and definitely made me feel unwelcome. I did enjoy some of the flavors of my selection but I feel like I could have had better combinations if the employee could have offered some helpful insight. The worst customer service! I love cava and the one in Rialto is my go to. I was in the neighborhood and wanted to surprise my daughter with Cava after work. Big mistake. The young girl was in a mood and the portions for the rice and veggies were skimpy. Not the Harissa Chicken itself but the sides. I will not be going there again. I felt like I was bothering them with my requests and when requesting the pita she rudely handed it to me as if it was costing her to make it. So the food is great. Just like any other CABA places. Service is fine, Fast and efficiently done. 2 stars are for the place. Lighting and all bright glass windows are great. Floor and the tables are very filthy. Most of them so sticky that even when you want to wipe down with Clorox bleach or any sanitizer tissue, they got stuck on the table. By the end of our meals, our bowls stuck on the table. Really bad. So sad to see this franchise cleanliness goes down the drain. read more

The service here depends on who is running the show. Last night however, pissed me off. They gave a good helping to the person in front of me, when they got to me, I asked for half and half. They put a half scoop of chicken, pushed it forward, then told me they dont do half and half and thats a full scoop. Then they started pressing me on toppings and pushing double to make up for the small amount of chicken then started helping someone else. Why have a build your own bowl if you're going to skimp and dictate what I want anyway? It wasnt that busy, and I ended up leaving hungry. They gave me a half empty bowl because they wanted to push me through, and they refused to let me add anything on, I was willing to pay extra, and because the bowl had moved on I was not allowed to add anything on anymore. Worse is the chicken was dry as hell. My friend got the salmon and she said it was bad, dry and really fishy like it had been out too long and she couldnt finish her bowl. This location is terrible and managed like shit. Prior visits were decent, but it looks like a new team, probably fired the old team because they actually got orders right and didnt hide behind bullshit rules. But I will be real, its probably coming down from corporate to cheap out too. If that's the case I wonder when this gets replaced by a better restaurant. read more

I've been coming to this establishment for years, which is why I feel comfortable giving honest feedback. Drea takes her job way too seriously and has a very rude demeanor. I've witnessed her talking back to coworkers and being disrespectful to the people she's supposed to be working with. She always seems irritated and brings a negative energy to the workplace. If you're 28 years old working in fast food, there's no reason to be miserable and take everything so personally. At the end of the day, you're JUST a team member not manager lol and part of the job is treating people with respect. First time trying this franchise. Cava reminds me a lot of Chipotle if Chipotle had more veggies, lol. It's a Mediterranean twist on the usual "mixed food in a bowl" that both Chipotle and any Poke place are well-known for. Their options are varied and the protein itself is good too. I like how, even something as basic as corn can be enhanced with the right seasoning. We came on a Sunday, in the late afternoon, and it was somewhat packed, but it was still worth it. The milk cartons were incredibly overpriced, though (I think 3 dollars for like 8 oz of milk, which is insane). Other than that, the food itself and the service were pretty good. read more
