The been drink- coffee a little strong

Local spot located in Victoria Gardens. Came in for a quick date on a Friday night. Food: Ordered the filet mignon- DEEE.LISSHH!- 5/5. The combo of the mash with the filet was mouth watering. Will definitely be ordering this again when we return. Service- was good. Wish my water cup hadn't gone dry, but it did. Parking: there's valet parking or you can park on the south side of VG.

The Cut absolutely exceeded our expectations! We started with the broccolini and wings, and both were delicious. The homemade ranch was unreal--seriously one of the best we've had and the perfect complement to the appetizers. For our entrées, we ordered the jerk chicken and the beef stroganoff. It's so hard to find a restaurant that serves a great beef stroganoff these days, and both my husband and I were beyond impressed. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the sauce was rich and creamy, and the beef was so tender it melted in your mouth. Every bite was incredible. The jerk chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the coconut rice was the perfect pairing. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared. If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers on flavor and quality, The Cut is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back. Oh and please give Olivia a raise, she was amazing!

I came in around 2pm on a friday just in time for their lunch specials. Happy hour also starts at 3 so I felt like it was a win win. I ordered their crystal paloma, poutine, lunch specials smashburger & their chicken caesar wrap with nashville hot chicken. The paloma was good but it was a little spicy! The poutine fries were my favorite, so so good! So much flavor from the chimichurri, theyre a must try. The smashburger was also great & they came with a side of tots. The dressing for the wrap was fire, I liked the heat from the chicken and it was juicy but I think I prefer regular grilled chicken. Overall this was a great spot. Fire food, good drinks, clean place, spacious , not too pricey with their lunch menu & happy hours and service was great!

I just had lunch with a girlfriend here today. I was so sad to see that they changed their taco Tuesday. Which used to be 3 soft tacos with option or steak or fish(salmon) and coleslaw on top. I would pick 2 fish and 1 steak. It was so amazing that I would tell all my friends. The tacos are not on the menu and I ordered that today just to find out it has changed and looks kind of basic with tortilla and steak, topped with guacamole and little bit of pickled onion. They don't give you an option anymore. Served with a side of salsa. It just looked sad and was way better before. Hope you guys bring it back. We also ordered drinks but it felt like there was no alcohol just sweetness. A little disappointed today. Olivia has our server and we left her a great tip. Not sure when I will be back now.

Great food. Excellent mocktails. Good service. Went for dinner with the girls and we sat on the patio on a Sunday late afternoon and everything was great. The mocktails, the food, the service all top notch and the weather was perfect! We shared the edamame and whipped burrata for appetizers, both were fantastic! The edamame was hot and steamed to perfect. The sauce it was in and garlic crumbles on top was sooo good! The whipped burrata had an explosion of flavors. Creamy cheese, crunchy pistachios, sweet peaches, a drizzle of honey and bitter flash fried arugula on top. I'm a sucker for different textures so this hit the spot! A lil balsamic vinegar would've taken it next level tho. For the entrees, our table had: Caesar salad with chicken: romaine was super fresh and crispy, chicken was hot and grilled. Jerk chicken plate: A lot of food! Chicken was tender and tasty! Presentation was beautiful, aromatic and colorful. Scallop plate: scallops were charred and crispy on the outside but a lil too soft on the inside. This was ok. Sweet and Savory burger: cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were hot and savory! Soo good! I do not remember our servers name but he was great. He gave good suggestions and checked on us just enough. Will definitely come back again to try other menu items!

The food was really good and service was good as well, the only reason I'm marking down stats is because of the prices. The food wasn't over the top or anything. They have a $40 Hamburger on the menu! I feel like it's a little too much for the quality. The location and vibe was very nice.

This was my second time at The Cut, but the first it was only for cocktails. This time around I got an entree salad and a side of sweet potato fries. The salad was the house salad with added steak. It was super delicious with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and champagne vinaigrette. My friend got their Caesar salad and she is still raving about it. Their Cali Water cocktail was also enjoyed, as well as a lemon drop and a margarita. The vibes are chill and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Their menu is varied enough to where you can find something to enjoy and I like that they take classic dishes like a Reuben sandwich or a burger and elevate it. I came with a group of girlfriends before we headed into the movie theater and I think this is a great restaurant to enjoy something like that or a date night. Will be visiting again for sure.

Birthday cake was delicious but the service was not!

Although the food was great, big portions and the sides were great too but the waitress was very arrogant and snippy with my party. I went for my birthday and it really ruined the mood. Not cool. We asked for boxes and she brought 2 and there was 3 of us and because one of us didn't say the needed a box she brought 2 boxes and started saying you only asked for 2 boxes. Obviously she had a whole have a sandwich common sense you would bring 3 boxes and not argue about who said what. This was only one of the snippy remarks. If you don't like working with people don't be a waitress. No wonder her hair is red. This was unacceptable how we were treated. I loved the food but wouldn't go back.

Had an awesome experience at The Cut. The food was incredible -- everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pizza was next level with a great crust and bold flavors, and you can tell they really care about quality ingredients. Adam was our waiter and he absolutely nailed it. Super attentive without being overbearing, great energy, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it. He checked in at the right times and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Definitely coming back -- and definitely asking for Adam again.

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

DO NOT DINE HERE IN SUMMER HEAT…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should know. The biggest issue was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was uncomfortably hot from the moment we walked in. For a restaurant that markets itself as more upscale, it's unbelievable that the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It wasn't just us either--I saw the hostesses fanning themselves to stay cool, which says a lot when the employees can't even get relief from the heat. When we asked if the air conditioning could be turned up, our waitress explained that all of the air comes from the back private dining room, and when there's a private event and the curtains are closed, the airflow gets blocked. If that's truly how the air system is designed, that's a major problem. That is not a reasonable explanation to give paying customers. The heat completely took away from what should have been an enjoyable dinner. We noticed multiple other guests fanning themselves throughout the meal, so it was clearly affecting everyone, not just our table. If you're planning to dine here during the summer, I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else until they fix the air conditioning. Instead of addressing the problem, they seem content making excuses, and it resulted in one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've had.
