I just had lunch with a girlfriend here today. I was so sad to see that they changed their taco Tuesday. Which used to be 3 soft tacos with option or steak or fish(salmon) and coleslaw on top. I would pick 2 fish and 1 steak. It was so amazing that I would tell all my friends. The tacos are not on the menu and I ordered that today just to find out it has changed and looks kind of basic with tortilla and steak, topped with guacamole and little bit of pickled onion. Their steak salad is one of my faves and very flavorful. The fries I would prefer to be well done- the prices are a little high but quality is good. However this last time I went and ordered an extra order of their $9 side of fries we asked for ranch and ketchup with it and noticed that it was $1 extra for each ranch (got 2). Their service is great, water cups never empty BUT I would've liked to have been told that there is an extra charge for ranch when ordering an extra order of their fries. This was my second time at The Cut, but the first it was only for cocktails. This time around I got an entree salad and a side of sweet potato fries. The salad was the house salad with added steak. It was super delicious with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and champagne vinaigrette. My friend got their Caesar salad and she is still raving about it. Their Cali Water cocktail was also enjoyed, as well as a lemon drop and a margarita. The vibes are chill and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Their menu is varied enough to where you can find something to enjoy and I like that they take classic dishes like a Reuben sandwich or a burger and elevate it. I came with a group of girlfriends before we headed into the movie theater and I think this is a great restaurant to enjoy something like that or a date night. Came here for lunch on a weekend. Food was great. The service was severely lacking. I get that it was busy, but our waitress was horrible. She took so long to take our drink order after we sat down, that we were ready to order our food when she came around. After she took our drink and food order, we waited 15 mins, and still no drinks. I actually had to ask another waitress for water. When our waitress came by we reminded her about not getting our drinks yet and she copped an attitude and was like "we were busy, yeah I asked someone else to bring the water". Ok. Well first first of all my husband and I need idk some type of voucher card because we are regulars there lol jk anyway we love the cut I feel the need to emphasize that this is a SEED OIL FREE restaurant they are even on the seed oil scout app with amazing ratings and reviews ... when we started going there they had cheese bites triangles that they removed out of the menu my 2 favorite dishes are the Chicken caprese I want to try a different one but never get myself to do it because this one is soooo good I get it with a side of sweet potato's and an extra side of cut sauce omg so good! We also love the date pudding with an extra side of ice cream omg I hope they never remove that desert because I will go on strike lol another plate that is so good is the hanger and Frits ofcourse with sweet potato's , also their burgers are amazing !
