Loved this spot! It's a great brunch spot, it felt homey, and the food was amazing! I got the breakfast sandwich which was bomb! And my friend got a French toast which looked soooo good! 10/10 would recommend! The workers were great!

We are back in town for another week of therapy for my daughter and she only had two repeat restaurant requests and Sunny's was one! The food was maybe even better than last time. Absolutely delicious. The egg sandwich was divine. And my daughter once again loved the Sunny's waffles. And as amazing as the food is, somehow the service, by Sunny himself, is top notch. He is so friendly and kind and very generous with little treats for the kids. We will always come back!

parking is ample in the shared lot with the plaza!!! restaurant itself isnt the biggest and has a mom and pop shop vibe. service was 10/10, the staff were super friendly, attentive, and nice. the food itself was solid. classic brunch spot. not my taste but it wasn't bad!

The is a long over due review! We had the best time at Sunny's. Not only is the food phenomenal but the customer service is exceptional. I took my grandma here for a 80th birthday celebration breakfast and from the moment we pulled up to park in the handicap spot. The owner himself came out and opened the door for us. I was blown away. He checked in on our experience and at the end gifted my grandma a piece of cheesecake for her birthday. You can also hear his passion behind doing what he does and the conjoining bakery he owns. We also loved the decor and the record player and radio! It reminded me of my grandpa and his record player. The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back.

Excellent place to get a very tasty breakfast in a small restaurant with a big heart. The chicken and waffles were the perfect crisp and the iced coffee was so tasty. It was plenty of food I honestly could have shared it especially since it comes with a side of eggs. The food is great but what won me over was the sweet owner/chef I believe he was. He went around to the tables asking how the food was and thanking us for stopping by. I love when a business owner shows pride in his business because you know you're getting a special meal made with care.

Small and cute little place. Parking wasn't an issue. Food was really great. Service was good. I came in to pick up my order and while the front desk/server was busy, someone was in the kitchen to peek their head out to let me know someone would be with me shortly. Chilaquiles was really good. SPICY. But good. Benedict, usually can't go wrong. Has parsley on top, if that matters to you. I appreciate that they allowed me to substitute ham for tomatoes. We'll be back!!

A must try. Phenomenal food and good portions, for a great price. Also stellar service. Came in at 9:25AM on a Sunday. Only 1 other big group of young men were there. Our food was coming out by 9:40AM and service was super prompt with refills of water and coffee. Everyone was so nice! From the guy who directed us that we could sit when we first arrived, the waitress who was with us the entire time, the chef who came out and even took our dishes, and the owner who was just so friendly! We ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice with a side of Sunny's Potatoes, Chilaquiles, that we later added a side of Sunny's Chicken to, Mexican Chocolate French Toast, and two coffees with the hazelnut creamer. $67 before tip! That's 3 mains, 2 sides, and 2 coffees. That could have easily fed 3 people. The cook on everything made for prefect textured bites every time. Definitely order the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi is made in house, the fry on the chicken is beautiful, and the velvet yet fluffy texture of the egg made for bites you can't stop. The Chilaquiles was good with a nice level of spice. Textures on point and such balanced moments with the avocado, pickled onions, crema, and cojita cheese. We ordered an extra fried chicken on the side because we felt like it needed some more fat/meatiness, but overall a good vegetarian option. But since I'm not one, next time I might try a side of a burger patty to crumble on top. Again, good dish just needs fat. Mexican Chocolate French Toast was perfect to wrap up. Not too sweet, firm but not eggy, and well balanced between the chocolate, Fresh fruit, and what tasted like freshly made whipped cream. Dusted with powder sugar, it was perf t as is but left you the option to douse in syrupy if that's your thing. Would recommend. Ugh! And then they give you a free cute slice of cheesecake at the end. Not too sweet. Perfection! I will be back.

Searched yelp for the nearest place to have brunch it lead me to here at Sunny's Cafe. I noticed the ambiance looked a tad unfinished and while enquiring about the paintings on the wall . Owner Sunny mentioned they are in the midst of remodeling , the painting is his support of a local artist. Fresh baked brioche bread / fresh squeezed orange juice of course I had to add that to my lists of things to try here. Also their fried chicken and waffles by far my favorite. Fried chicken reminds me of korean style fried chicken. Crispy and tender. Definitely recommends the waffle

I this place is relatively new. The website menu isn't updated and their full menu has a lot more items. We ordered the: Sunny's waffles - waffle was really big and tasted good on its own. The chicken tenders were the unexpected hit! So crunchy and delicious. Came out hot and fresh. Kids French toast - also very good! Loved the fresh whipped cream. Katsu Sando - chicken was delicious, similar to the chicken with the waffle. Only thing missing is some sort of sauce. Sandwich came dry. And a nice surprise - they gave a small complimentary tiny slice of cheesecake with their whipped cream. Yummy! Place is small and quaint. They have a cute bench for a larger group. I think they need to repaint the walls and get nicer chairs. But other than that, great hole in the wall. Will come back

What an absolute pleasure to stumble upon Sunny's Café my daughter and I were looking for a breakfast brunch place something new to try and we lived in that area for 20 years and we came across Sunny's Café and decided to go and enjoy some food. Very cute little restaurant in a somewhat busy shopping center we went in. We were greeted right away very friendly. We're told to sit wherever we'd liked. We picked a back table love the decor. The vibe is absolutely great very simple but very welcoming. The young lady who came and asked us how we were doing gave us our menus very sweet as we were looking over our menu. We had an older gentleman I'm assuming might be the owner came over and greeted us asked us how we were doing if we would like anything to drink. If we were ready yet we were still looking over the menu. He said no problem. The young lady came, she took our drink order and brought out our drinks pretty quickly. We placed our order for our food again very pleasant very nice. very attentive. I watched her go from each person to check on them. That was amazing. We received our food and everything looked delicious. Presentation was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious. My coffee was phenomenal. My daughter's orange juice was so sweet and so perfect. I believe it might've even been freshly squeeze as we were finishing up the older gentleman brought us over some dessert a piece of cheesecake with some strawberries and whipped cream phenomenal from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend if you're in the area to stop here for some food I would definitely be back.

Sunny's Café has such a homey vibe, and the staff was super friendly. We stopped in for brunch, and I had the Sunset Benedict -- the eggs were perfectly poached! The ladies' room was clean, and I loved that they even had dance music playing from an old Victrola, which added to the charm. We had a great chat with the owner, who shared that they make everything from scratch -- nothing is frozen. They started us off with complimentary orange juice, and at the end, surprised us with a little cheesecake dessert from their bakery. The cheesecake was delicious and tasted homemade -- the perfect sweet ending. A wonderful experience all around -- we'll definitely be back!

Sunny's Cafe is Everything a Local Spot Should Be Sunny's Cafe is a true gem in Rancho Cucamonga! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming--genuinely friendly people who took the time to chat with us like old friends. It wasn't just great service, it was a truly personal experience. They started us off with a complimentary glass of fresh orange juice, which was such a refreshing and thoughtful touch. I ordered the veggie omelette, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. In fact, they don't even have a freezer in the back! You can really taste the difference in everything they serve. The cafe also acts as a showroom for their in-house bakery, where all the breads and pastries are made fresh daily. The smell alone is reason enough to stop in! Between the cozy vibe, amazing food, and the kind of hospitality that's hard to find these days, Sunny's Cafe is the kind of place you instantly want to come back to. A five-star experience all the way!

I am not easily impressed but I had to have another of that sauce. The only thing I would critique is the beef perhaps could have been sliced. The only reason I cannot give a 5 is when I came for lunch on a weekday I noticed no one at the counter while I ate. Some people came and walked out because no one greeted them. I think one guy was on a break and some girl was doing something else. That is the only thing I would say was bad and it did not personally happen to me. DO NOT DINE HERE IN SUMMER HEAT…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should know. The biggest issue was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was uncomfortably hot from the moment we walked in. For a restaurant that markets itself as more upscale, it's unbelievable that the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It wasn't just us either--I saw the hostesses fanning themselves to stay cool, which says a lot when the employees can't even get relief from the heat. When we asked if the air conditioning could be turned up, our waitress explained that all of the air comes from the back private dining room, and when there's a private event and the curtains are closed, the airflow gets blocked. If that's truly how the air system is designed, that's a major problem. That is not a reasonable explanation to give paying customers. The heat completely took away from what should have been an enjoyable dinner. We noticed multiple other guests fanning themselves throughout the meal, so it was clearly affecting everyone, not just our table. If you're planning to dine here during the summer, I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else until they fix the air conditioning. Instead of addressing the problem, they seem content making excuses, and it resulted in one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've had.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the sweetest hostess at the front. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shout-out! She was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table right next to the DJ. That little gesture made a huge difference and really kicked off the night on the right note. Our server, Lex, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and kept checking on us throughout the night, even with how busy it was. Excellent service like hers is one of the reasons we'll definitely be back. The DJ was absolutely FIRE! We went on 90s/2000s Night, and every song had people singing and dancing. The energy was nonstop, and it was the perfect soundtrack for a birthday celebration. The food and drinks were exactly what we wanted for a night out. We enjoyed Pineapple Express cocktails, Jack Daniels, Palomas, Mexican Candy shots, Green Tea shots (because... birthday! ), Lagunitas drafts, mozzarella sticks, chips with guac and salsa, and chili cheese fries. Everything came out fresh, and the drinks were great. One thing I thought was really cool was that they did raffle giveaways throughout the night. We actually won a karaoke machine, which was such a fun surprise and made the birthday celebration even more memorable! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the restrooms. Unfortunately, they were in pretty rough shape. There was toilet paper all over the floor, one toilet was broken, water was leaking from the ceiling, only one soap dispenser had soap, and the whole bathroom smelled like a sewer. It was the only part of the night that didn't match the otherwise great experience. Overall, Punch Bowl Social is a fantastic spot for birthdays, celebrations, drinks, music, and a fun night out with friends. Great staff, an amazing DJ, fun surprises like raffles, and an atmosphere that keeps the party going. If management gives the restrooms some much-needed attention, this place would easily earn five stars from me. We'll definitely be back!

We usually find ourselves seated in this area, but we love coming to this location, so I don't mind. I have no qualms with the service, or the food, but I would like to mention that last week, and two other occasions - I've heard shouting/screaming coming from the kitchen. And I don't mean in the "it's so loud in here I can't hear myself think, so I'll raise my voice" kind of way. It was literally a man shouting in what could be described as angry tones. Now I didn't know what's going on or why it was happening, and I usually mind my own business. But on the other two occassions where I did nothing, the most recent time I was curious. I did a small pass-by towards the restroom and I saw this Asian man with glasses who I suppose is one of the chefs/cooks. Whether his shouting was justified or not, I don't really expect Cheesecake Factory to be Hell's Kitchen. It gave me and my friend bad vibes knowing he was screaming at the people making our food. There's got to be a better way to make that environment feel safe and less toxic and still serve the great dishes we had. If it was a one-off, I'd chalk it up to him being extra diligent about food quality, but to hear it on three separate times I've dined in (not all the time), and the tone he takes is disrespectful of your fellow employees and personally, if it was me being talked to that way, I would have brought it to my HR - no matter how good a cook he was. Just needed to let you know that this was happening in your location, if you weren't already aware. Or if you were, something should be done to make the environment better for employees and your patrons like me who have been unwittingly subjected to a tirade.
