Upon entering no wait at about 9am, when we sat we were greeted by our lovely server Katherin. She was very welcoming, kind and made our experience this morning wonderful. She checked in on us, and made sure we were happy with our meal. I got the smoked salmon Benedict and it was delicious. The portion size was big! I loved the hash browns on the side and their rancho sauce to give me a bit of yummy kick (ask for this because it doesn't come with the Benedict) The table was clean and the music was nice! Came here for brunch and we had a good experience. It was easy to locate, Google Map took us right to the location and there is plenty of parking which already makes brunch spots less stressful. My wife and I have been coming to Broken Yolk Cafe almost every Sunday for the last 7-8 weeks, and this place has honestly become one of our favorite spots. We always sit at the bar, which is perfect because we never really have to wait and we get served almost immediately. We'll order mimosas, breakfast right after church, and just relax and enjoy the whole experience. One of the best parts about sitting at the bar is getting a front-row view of how incredible the team works together. You can see the chefs in the back, the servers in the front, and everyone moving in complete sync. The teamwork, communication, and energy are seriously impressive. Everything runs so smoothly, and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about customer service and creating a great atmosphere. The food is consistently amazing, the drinks are on point, and the vibe is always welcoming. We love being able to enjoy great food while also people-watching and seeing the restaurant operate hands-on. Went for a late meal after working out across the street and we were able to be seated with no wait! The server was pleasant and able to offer some suggestions. We ended up getting the bottle of champagne for mimosas so share at the table. Can never go wrong with mimosas. I tried the chorizo skillet and my cousin got a burger and onion rings. The skillet tasted okay but thought it would be a larger dish. The potatoes needed some seasonings they were just thin sliced potatoes under the other ingredients. Loved the condiment basket that had everything you needed from Ketchup and hot sausage to salt and pepper. We sat outside where there were plenty of umbrellas for shade since it was a hot day. Run 2. This place feels more about the hype than the food. You can tell a lot of influencers come here to show off the cute plates and drinks. I was really looking forward to trying the food, and after waiting an hour and a half, I was hoping to be amazed by the menu. Unfortunately, it was pretty basic, nothing really stood out. The food wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't worth the long wait for me. Because of that, I probably won't be returning. That said, if you're looking for a cute spot with a great aesthetic and food that photographs well for Instagram, this is definitely a good place for that. We decided to try Broken Yoke one more time after a so so breakfast months prior. We visited around lunch time and ordered Eggs Benedict and a tuna melt. The service was extremely poor and our order was finally taken by the person managing the food prep. Employees were at the counter eating right next to our table. They were loud and disruptive. After a long wait we got our food. The eggs were overcooked and the ham was sliced too thick. The tuna melt had a large amount of mayonnaise mixed in. I ate 1/2 the sandwich but did not finish. We left and needless to say for the rest of the day and into the night was spent in the bathroom. I was Super sick from food poisoning. Stay away from this place. We will never go back and whatever you do don't eat the tuna. read more

We had the crunchy French toast as a combo which came with eggs and bacon, and we also ordered the American breakfast, which was bacon and eggs hashbrowns. The coffee was good. They had all the creamers we got here close to 8 AM right before the big rush perfect timing. It's close to 9 AM now and this place is crowded on a Sunday morning. Service and ambience was great. I was going to shout out her name in this review but completely forgot her name (I think it started with a K... maybe Kristie?). She wrote on our receipt saying to have a good day with a smiley face. I love little gestures like that. She continually checked on us while we ate too. The food was really good. No complaints on the main dishes. They came out quick. The only thing I didn't really like was the sweet trio (except for the crunchy french toast!) The comma-cake thing whatever it was did not taste good. It honestly tasted undercooked. The tiki toast was decent but not memorable. The crunchy french toast though... That's the one. The best french toast I've ever had. So good! Worth coming back for and I'm from the norcal lol I wish I knew how to make it. I came to this restaurant post-Coachella because of the highly rated Yelp reviews (and my flight home was through ONT). Once we checked in to be seated, it was a 35 min wait but it's understandable that there was a very large crowd waiting also to be seated. Overall, the meal was excellent and will go back again. The one thing that was unpleasant was the fact that my water seems to forget that there were no utensils on the table. I can't believe that a simple breakfast of 2 eggs, hash browns and corned beef hash could be messed up. The food was very bland, no flavor or seasoning to the food at all. So basic! Then! The corned beef hash reminded me of pedigree canned dog food, so gross. They need to stop serving that asap. I can't imagine anyone liking that. Second visit I order pancakes, safe bet right? Wrong!
