I honestly saw the prices and saw what people were walking away with... it turned me off. But my husband got a a breakfast burrito and French toast... we got the breakfast burrito and I took a bite. It was good, but definitely not worth the money and the 45 minute wait. Then we waited another 15 minutes... the French toast still hadn't come out. So my husband went to go ask and they said another 20 minutes... okay so one hour for French toast? They have the food menu as soon as you walk in and also sell pastries. I ordered the Combine Breakfast which comes with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sourdough bread. It was tasty and a generous portion. For my drink, I ordered an iced matcha latte with agave which was also good! If you are dining in, they give you a number and you can choose a seat inside or outside. **UBDATE** Because I trust the consistency of the coffee I review, rarely, if ever do I do a second review, HOWEVER, my visit a few days ago warrants such. I've never been to a coffee shop where I was charged for decaffeinated coffee. Now, if thats what you're choosing to do, you should make sure you come correct. That being said, Combine Kitchen, shame on you for charging an additional $2.50 for your watered down drip. Now, I had the choice to change my mind, when I was told of the upcharge, but, I'm not that person. Besides, my coffee pallet is vast, so if you're going to upcharge, "out of ordinary," scope of a business norm, I'm going to be the one to try it, it's what I do. The problem is, the coffee was lost in the flavor, so you're left with sweet, creamy water, with a very slight note of coffee. It's hard enough to make a balanced decaf latte, but when you focus on the additions to the coffee, and not the pleasing factor itself, the coffee, it loses its essence. I ordered the Cafe de Olla, and if I wasn't pressed for time I would have returned it. Your regular coffee is great, I won't discount that, but this needs work, especially if you're going to charge more for it. To ME, an upcharge is indicative of the additional effort placed in ensuring customer satisfaction, to a greater extent. What am I missing? I do not recommend the decaffeinated coffee at all. Mind you, I've had a tremendous amount of decaf and this is the first time I feel the need to write a review to this regard, let alone a second, "updated" review. With tax I paid $10.24 for a 12oz. No where near worth it. I suggested to the Baristas when they mentioned to me that customers change their mind all the time after hearing about the the uncharge, before trying it, the reasons I felt the upcharge may have been "warranted," in the eyes of the Owner. They agreed, saying, "Maybe," but the drink still didn't meet that minimal standard. I would love to know the real reason, respectfully. read more

I love this place. I have been here multiple times not and I am still not disappointed. First the customer service is fantastic. All the staff is very welcoming. A lot of places are starting to lack customer service but this place has it right. The food is delicious. I have tried the El Gordo (my favorite), the BAE, the steak and eggs, and also the quesadilla stack. Everything I have tried I truly enjoy. Also their potatoes are amazing as well. Drinks: The Shrek Lattee iced with oatmilk is my personal favorite. I have tried some of their other coffee and they were also delicious. Price: it can be pretty pricy however the quality is worth it in my opinion. Ambiance: is very calm and relaxing. I love to go there and read while I wait for my food or to just get a drink and read a nice book. They always have some great music playing. One time they had Erykah Badu and Outkast on, the vibes were perfect. Also sometimes on the weekend they have a musician on the patio. I came back trusting the quality of their food and service, but this visit was very disappointing. I ordered a pour-over coffee and a French toast. The food arrived fairly quickly, but the coffee never came -- even after I went up to the counter three or four times to ask about it. A pour-over coffee is not complicated, and I intentionally ordered something simple so I could be in and out and get back on the road. I found it confusing that food is delivered to the table based on a number system, but drinks must be picked up from the counter, even for guests seated across the café. This setup simply doesn't work when someone orders both food and coffee. The lady with the colored hair was kind and clearly trying to help, but the two men behind the counter seemed disinterested and acted as though making my coffee was an inconvenience. It wasn't about impatience -- it was about basic service and coordination. All I wanted was a simple, hot cup of black coffee to enjoy with my breakfast, and somehow that proved too difficult for this café. It's disappointing to see how far the quality and attentiveness have slipped. When a café can't manage a simple pour-over, something's wrong. read more

Where I work, you c an easily add a shot for .75 cents, so I don't understand how that request is difficult. Our three drinks (which weren't in big cups) came out to 33 BUCKS⁉I asked if she accidentally added an extra drink to the bill before paying, but she said no and continued without questioning why three little drinks cost so much.
