We were visiting from out of town and placed a large catering order for lunch, with a variety of sandwiches and many special requests and dietary accommodations. Victor and the entire team handled everything with great care, clearly labeled every meal, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Everyone loved the sandwiches! A special shoutout to Victor and Jordan for their kindness and outstanding service. When an unexpected need for water came up, Jordan went above and beyond to help us get a few cases. Saw the reviews and who doesn't love a great sourdough?! Location was local, staff was friendly, and place was very clean. We ordered the French dip, clam chowder, turkey pesto sandwich, and a brisket BBQ sandwich. Everything was delicious but our favorite was definitely the turkey pesto. My husband's BBQ sandwich was ordered without the coleslaw but came out regular so he was a little disappointed but was able to scrape most of it off. When he told the cashier he really didn't offer to switch it out so we just figured it out. I 100% recommend this restaurant. We will be back and we will pay more attention to when our order comes out lol. read more

Stopped by for a quick lunch before work & the clam chowder bread bowl made the perfect meal. It was a good portion for $14 & even had leftovers for later. It does get a little busy during peak hours so you can always place an order online for faster pickup if needed. read more

First of all love sourdough!!! Their sourdough is the softest and tastiest sourdough to ever be used for a sandwich. Overall was impressed with the taste and presentation. However the garlic turkey sandwich either needed more sauce or a bit more flavor. But I will say for the sandwiches being 6 in. they were a bit pricey "$12.49" to be exact and the cup of Mac & Cheese was $6.99 and the bowl was $8.99 but wasn't much of a difference in size. Let alone didn't want to order anything else just because my bill on lunch would have been through the roof. The service in other words was great, greetings, questions, and request were all fulfilled. This place will definitely be a treat though! read more

I finally pulled up to Westcoast Sourdough in Fontana after IG kept bullying me with videos like, "Diego... go here NOW." And honestly? IG was right. This place is popping for a reason. First of all, the sourdough? Some of the BEST I've ever had. Like... "should I start a long-term committed relationship with this bread?" level good. And when the bread is elite, you already know the sandwiches are about to hit different. I couldn't decide, so of course I ordered two sandwiches because balance. BBQ Brisket first now this one showed up with coleslaw, dijon mustard, and cheese like it was ready to change my life. The flavor combo was on point. My only regret? Not adding jalapeños. But that's on me, not them or the Bqq sauce to be spicier.. still not complaining, now im just asking for more since their execution wqs so good! Lol Cranberry Turkey -- the WINNER. I had them make it hot (highly recommend), and it turned into a next-level experience. Like Thanksgiving and a hug wrapped into one perfect bite, after bite, after bite...etc..Y'all get it.. We ordered sandwiches from here twice. Once in person and the second time on door dash. The in person visit went well. I ordered a French dip for my husband and a bbq sandwich for myself with a side of clam chowder. The bbq sauce on my sandwich overpowered everything else. I couldn't finish it. But the bread tasted fresh and soft. The clam chowder was okay. The French dip was really good, but the dip got cold easily. If you get it to go, you'll need to reheat it at home. The second time we ordered thru door dash, we never got our food. The driver had been waiting about 30 min and I ended up cancelling the order. I don't know what happened there, but I won't be ordering thru that service again for this establishment. read more

Oh my goodness not only did they get my order wrong but this place is disgusting. We both literally threw our sandwiches away after the first bite. We ordered pastrami sandwiches not only were they skimpy but tasted nothing like pastrami but rather some type of mystery meat. The only thing good was the bread, I suppose. Very questionable meat especially quality. We spent $42 on three sandwiches. Please don't waste your money there are so many options in that shopping center that actually taste decent. Came for dinner with my two babies. And everything was absolutely delish. I had a roast beef, toasted with the house Mayo and Dijon mustard. My daughter had a bbq brisket with coleslaw, and my son had a classic Turkey with lettuce, tomatoes and onion. Decided to order and try West Coast Sourdough today. I ordered a sourdough bread bowl with Mac & cheese, a bowl of clam chowder, and two BBQ Brisket Sandwiches- one with coleslaw and one without with extra meat. First off, great job from the restaurant and the driver to time everything and have the food delivered to my home still fresh and hot. That's not always easy, especially when the place is 20 plus minutes away. That's great service. Now onto the food. The clam chowder is delicious and has a clam flavor but there's hardly any clams in it. It's all potato. I don't know if that's how it's made or if it was just bowl I got. When you're paying $12.50 for a bowl that's too much if it's more like potato soup. I probably wouldn't order that again because in my opinion it's more like potato chowder. The BBQ brisket sandwich had great flavor too but because everything was wet (bbq sauce, meat had sauce, and the coleslaw was saucy) it taste a bit one noted. I thought the coleslaw would give it crunch and freshness but it was a bit soggy for my taste but still great flavor. I probably wouldn't order that again either or I'd get the coleslaw on the side and spoon it on every bite. The Mac and cheese sourdough bread bowl was not for me but I did taste it. The Mac is a creamy Mac with white cheddar. I felt like it was flavored well and I could see myself ordering that. The bread it was served in was fresh and definitely sourdough! It had a crispy exterior and a chewy soft center. Delicious! I still rated this place a 4 overall because my preference about the sandwich may just be a textural thing for me but not everyone. My rating is my like a 3.5. I didn't comment about the inside or outside of the restaurant itself because the food was delivered to me. read more
