Stopped by California Fish Grill to meet my girlfriends and talk about some parent group stuff. First off, the service was absolutely amazing. We were there so late and they didn't rush us. They even cleared our trays as we were done eating and ordered additional service the entire time we were there. The ambiance here is casual. They offer both and table seating. The chairs aren't the most comfortable but it's ok. They even have outdoor seating. I opted for the House Ahi Poke Bowl. I opted for mixed greens w/ quinoa & kale edamame salad but you can also do white rice or brown rice or mix it. It has corn, tomato, red and green onion, avocado, and sesame seed oil. I also opted to add extra poke for $6. This was fresh, balanced, and customizable. It had a deep umami flavor and had bright acidity from the ponzu. This is truly a party in your mouth with all the different textures. I only wish it was spicier. I didn't opt for the spicy bowl because it's a mayo based sauce and I hate mayo. I finally tried the lobster rolls at California Fish Grill, and they were SO bomb. The lobster was fresh, the rolls were perfectly toasted, and the melted butter took them to the next level. First off, every time we come here - EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Today one of the self order kiosks wasn't working, so one of the employees directed me to a gentleman to help take my order personally. I was so flustered by the self ordering kiosks that I ended up ordering the wrong things when we got our food. I ended up ordering two orders of - 2 pieces of fish taco combos. Instead, I meant to order 1 order of a 2 pieces of beer battered fish combo and 1 order of a 2 piece fish taco combo. Also, the side orders were wrong. So when I went to the front to explain what had happened, the gentleman that took my order was the manager and he was so helpful in making my order right. He compensated us and gave not only 2 but 3 pieces of beer battered fish, and another side order of zucchini. My favorite thing about getting their beer battered fish here, whether it's just the fish or getting a fish taco is that the quality of the fish and make of the fish is so delicious. You definitely get that crunch factor and the batter is so light. Another one of my favorite things here is their sweet potato fries. I have been a regular customer at California Fish Grill in Rialto and have been ordering the Everything Protein Bowl for quite some time. Unfortunately, every time I order, the portions of meat seem to get smaller and smaller. Today was by far the worst experience. I received only a handful of pieces of shrimp, fish, and chicken. It's extremely disappointing to see the quality and portion sizes continue to decline while customers are still paying full price. People work hard for their money and deserve to receive what they pay for. This feels like a complete lack of respect for paying customers. I used to enjoy ordering from this location, but at this rate, it's becoming harder to justify spending my money here. Management seriously needs to address the inconsistent and shrinking portions before they lose more loyal customers. read more

I visited this spot to have lunch with a friend. We're both trying to do better with eating healthy, so California Fish Grill it was. I'm from Rialto/Fontana, but don't go out that way too often. Things have definitely changed, with the addition of the whole shopping center area. You walk in and have their menus displayed. They also have areas for you to order, but we chose to order with a worker. I ordered the Salmon bowl. I don't remember what my friend ordered. You enter your number to get a notification that your food is ready. I will say, we did wait some time for our food to be ready. We didn't mind it, since it was lunch to catch up and we had a lot of chisme to share. They have an outdoor seating hour, which was to sit out because it was cool outside. Wouldn't recommend it with the current weather because there's minimal shade. When we did get the food, I will say that I LOVED my salmon. It had a good ration of veggies and my rice was super tasty. The bowl was just enough for me to feel content with lunch and not overstuffed. Would definitely recommend this as a healthy lunch option. read more
