Tried this while out in Fontana as I was craving some seafood. Maybe it's just me but I prefer this over any of the seafood boil places I tried. I got the Cajun mix and it was extremely flavorful that I even ate all the mix with rice at the end. It's a big restaurant that has a chill vibe. Came from Las Vegas and was craving a seafood boil and this was the closest spot to where we were staying. I've never had a bad experience with a seafood boil until I came here on 11/02/25. Cajun fries were over cooked no seasoning. Seafood bag had barely any sauce I had to pay for extra sauce on the side. The RICE was over cooked like how can you do that. Sausage was disgusting. The manager that is on shift as it is 3:31 pm is the most disrespectful manager I have ever came across . No wonder this spot has no business with a manager like that. Who argues with someone over the phone for forgetting not one thing but two things . First my mother came in to get forgotten items than as I got to open the bag my whole entire order was wrong ! I frequent King Taco a lot and I've been eyeing Star Crab every time I pass by and I finally got to try it There was no wait on a Friday night but the restaurant was pretty busy We ordered 1.5lbs of shrimp with corn and potatoes. We also ordered garlic fries. The shrimp was on the smaller side but cooked perfectly. It's $14.99/lb. I like how we could order half pounds. The flavor was good but not as good as Boiling Crab. Their sauce is rich and had a lot of spices in it but not enough garlic. Same with the garlic fries, there wasn't enough garlic on it either. Their ranch is really good tho! Star crab opening nearby is officially a problem - it's all I want to eat & all I crave ever since they opened! The family and I went a few weeks back when they first opened and we ordered their BBQ wings, Cajun fries and two orders of shrimp. The bbq wings are SO good! The breading is light & airy, almost like Korean style wings & the Cajun fries are perfectly crispy. The seafood orders aren't by pound, which is a little different than most places but their portions (at least for the shrimp) was very generous, there was probably about 12-15 shrimp in each of our bags and we left with to-go bags! Since they opened, we've eaten there once and ordered take out multiple times! Hubs thinks it's a problem but happy to support local businesses in our community! read more

Quality seafood and great call-in service if you want to pick up. Shrimp was perfectly cooked. Mussels were the best part of the meal. Also, their fries were bomb. Things that could be better: Corn was over cooked. Mussels weren't completely clean (however they were delicious). Not a fan of the sauce (I got the Full House and Garlic Butter. Went to dine in at the location in Fontana . Needless to say we were extremely disappointed with the poor quality of food that was served . We ordered 4 different different platters shrimp, crab, chicken strips, and fish all with Fries. Everything was processed, frozen, freezer burned foods that were severely over cooked on the outside while undercooked on the inside. For those items we rate a 3 out of 10 because all the fries were good. The shrimp boil bag was ok with an overwhelming flavor of lime but overall I give it a 6 of 10. The service was amazing Juan was nice and very patient in taking the order and him constantly checking on us was a plus the only reason why we tipped to be honest. The ambiance was nice it was very clean in there as well. But just being honest I would not recommend this place unless you like banquet type of tv dinners type of Fish chicken and shrimp. For some reason the cooks made our shrimp head on when we asked for headless. When I called it to Juan's attention he said he remembered he had asked the kitchen for headless. So he went back and asked the cooks if he had mistaken the order. The cooks apologized and made a new order of headless shrimp for us and kindly asked for us to keep the head on shrimp as well. Moreover, the restaurant was very clean when I got there. If you want go with a large group, I recommend going to a family basket. Didn't even get the side of rice that I ordered and I forgot to check before I left. Although I ordered ahead and drove over which took 30 minutes I still had to wait an additional 10 and still didn't get everything I ordered.
