I remember coming to MOD Pizza when they first opened (I live just down the street) and I finally came back today, but now I know why I don't come here often. The pizza was SO bland. I added all the topping I typically get elsewhere and it just had no flavor. I even added salt. The red sauce was flavorless. The dough was thinner than paper. Luckily I asked for my pizza to be well done or else the center would've been soggy. The workers are so slow here and the guy that helped us had no personality. I loved the food here! Everything was so good. I got the Italian salad and built my own pizza with unlimited toppings. Since I'm lactose intolerant, I skipped the cheese and loaded it up with BBQ sauce, chicken, roasted red peppers, red onions, and arugula. It came out so flavorful. My eldest daughter was craving pizza on our way home. I asked her to research on pizza joints along the way. She stumbled onto MOD Pizza in Fontana and I said cool, let's try it since I haven't tried them yet at the time. I am so glad we came here because after eating their pizza, they are now our favorite build your own pizza joint. We got the MOD pizza unlimited toppings... you can't go wrong with this one... it's unlimited LOL. All the ingredients were very fresh. The lady behind the station was very generous with the portions of each ingredient... she was on point on everything. It wasn't overly done. Thank you Miss! We mainly got the Canadian bacon, another kind of bacon, and most of the veggies. OMG... the pizza was scrumptiously tasty! Even with all the veggies, it wasn't soggy. I just realized that the lady squeezed the liquids out of some of the wet veggies... smart! The crust is what caught our taste buds actually. It was crispy and had a burnt oven taste to it... believe me, it's good sh*t LOL! I am in love with MOD Pizza! Give me some more MOD, will yah? Staff was super friendly and nice. There are so many build your own pizza places closer to my house but I always make the drive here because this Mod location is the best around. I have come several times and the service has been great every time but today's visit (literally sitting here now) has been exceptional. Jenna not only did an amazing job building our pizza but she was an absolute delight all the way to the register. First things first, they were extremely short staffed but they made it work! I saw tons of online order tickets popping up & there was only one female employee making ALL of the pizzas for dine in, Togo, & OLO. She was extremely communicative & apologized to us for the wait. The male employee in charge of cooking the pizzas at the oven was very nice as well! He talked over the counter & told us our pizzas would be nice & hot. I appreciate & thank this team for handling being short staffed so well. Even though I'm sure it was tough for them, they kept their composure & held great customer service! As a vegan it's hard to find places that have good fresh food. I am beyond happy we decided to try MOD pizza. We usually go to a different pizza place, but our friend said MOD is better. We went there yesterday just the two of us and today with our kids. First off you walk in it's clean and you are greeted by the people. The guy making the pizza made sure to write vegan on all the pizzas. They did an awesome job with all the toppings. I love that they have vegan cheese and a plant based ground option. This review is solely on customer service the female worker with a hat and curly hair was clearly having a bad day not sure if shes upset she was working on a holiday or just upset i walked in 1.5hrs before closing ... she seemed annoyed that she had to make my pizzas and also seemed as if she was trying to argue with me however I wasn't in a bad mood and was feeling pretty good so I didn't match her energy I just killed her with kindness this is my 2nd incident at this location dealing with workers who act as if they don't want to work .. if you dont want to work dont come to work simple because of the terrible customer service I rarely come to this location I only came tonight because I was starving and most of the food locations were closed due to it being a holiday management please retrain your workers they give the business a bad look I will continue to take my business to the rancho location the workers there are very pleasant and professional read more

MOD is one of the go-to places for the family. Being new to this area, this location is new for us. We visited the restaurant and order our usual pies. One of my children turned to me and said, "dad, they know how to make pizzas right". It was true. I would probably give this restaurant a four-star review, but the fact that the staff was so friendly and was generous with the toppings when they built the pizza makes it an easy five star review. This is the second time in row, that I have experienced bad service at this location. I ordered a Mini pizza for my son and the Italian Chop Salad, Mod Size as it is a deal this week for $7. I showed the person making the salad and the young man that rang me the salad deal with the noted price. He told me the cost, I gave him a $20 and the change back was $1.96, I immediately said to the young man, you didn't charge me the special cost advertised. He said "yeah", we'll my manager isn't here and I can't give you a refund. Mind you there were three other people working and none of them stepped forward to assist in this matter. So he you caN wait for my manager, he on a break. I said for how much longer, ummm maybe 15 minutes. At that point, I said well my child's food will be cold by then and he just walked away! He said something to his coworkers and then came back and said "oh it's and online deal, that's why it didn't ring up with that price". At this point, this just made the situation worse, as the picture doesn't say "online only"! I asked for the managers name and he hesitated and then said "Adam". Never once did he say, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, it was my oversight, can I offer you a drink or anything, other than just walking away! I always start with the cauliflower crust on the Dillon James and modify it to our liking. Try the Dillon James with adding feta cheese, artichoke, roasted sweet peppers and optional mushrooms and jalapeño's. Or try the Greek salad my way. Add extra of the sweet roasted peppers and no olives or onions. A little extra feta cheese and the salad dressing on the Greek is delicious. read more
