Last night, papa took my first time.... Okay that sounds VERY twisted. Let me try again. LOL. But this is literally the first time I've ever ordered from Papa Js. In the past I've always opt out for the more affordable option, the D ominos. After relocating here to LA with my gf, we kept the same habit and ordered pizza from there. It wasn't bad at all. I mean, you can expect the quality. But boy IDK what's wrong with the ingredient that they use around here. We've ordered from them 3 times in total and all 3 times resulted a war zone in our toilet. We turned to frozen pizza but it just ain't cutting it. So we decided to give papa J a shot. Eureka!! Wow. We were both delighted. Everything together just tasted fresher. Most importantly, so far, no war zone warning yet!!! Woot woot!! On top of that, damn that garlic sauce of theirs is just plain orgasmic. Some evil idea they came up with I tell ya. Them sauce WILL get you hooked. Staff were very nice. One of the drivers mistakenly took part of my order. No biggies, just waited for him to return. The manager (I think) offered me a side order as compensation. Very courteous. Well that concluded, we will certainly be returning to papa next time... Just rude customer service. And I've seen them treat a delivery driver exceptionally bad because he didn't have like pizza bag or something.

Ordered through the app and the pizza was ready almost immediately. Service was quick and friendly. My only minor complaint is that I wasn't told the pizzas already come with butter sauce on the side, so I ended up buying an extra one unnecessarily. The store was clean, though a bit older, but since it's primarily a pickup location, that wasn't an issue at all. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd order again. read more

Checking out the local Papa John's while in town for a Radio Control Race at Steel City RC Track, 5th Scale On Road World Nationals. The team was hungry for pizza so I made a mad dash for sustenance. I picked up two pizzas, a side of jalapeño bites (YUM), 2 chocolate chip cookie desserts and a new low carb veggie bowl for myself. The low carb veggie bowl is brilliant and has been a needed option for a long time. Some of us are trying to do less carbs and it the perfect solution. My brother and I were planning to order small pizza. We use sign language to chat. When we chat in there, my brother told me that he heard one of the workers said "oh they are retard, that's sad" It got me pretty upset even we were hungry for lunch. I told him to ignore them. Fantastic Pizza, Wings, and of course our favorite pull apart cinnamon dessert. Which I save for breakfast. The delivery is quick and the Papa John App seems to work well for us. We have ordered from this location several times but tonight was a very long work days for everyone so it was a much needed late dinner at 9 pm. Thank you for feeding my family with good food! This Papa John's is located a couple of miles away from my work, so every so often when we crave a spinach alfredo pizza, we place an order. I like to place it online so I can choose all the toppings I want and there are usually good specials going on even without a coupon code. The delivery time varies depending on how busy they are..it has taken awhile sometimes. The buffalo wings are delicious, and so are the garlic butter dipping sauce that you get with each pizza. I am disappointed about the toppings on the pizza though, I've ordered one with double extra cheese and double pineapple and it looked like there were barely any 'extra' toppings on it. read more

The pizza itself from this location is not the issue. I have ordered from here several times. They are typically 10 minutes later than they quote, but it's not a huge deal. The issue I have is that on Sunday I ordered a pizza, and my account was charged twice. $22 may not seem like a lot to some people, and apparently Jose (who I spoke with) doesn't care. He said wait 48-72 hours and it will fix itself. I now can't pay a bill, and have incurred a late fee. I will no longer be ordering pizza from this Papa John's. I will now go to the one on Valley and pick it up myself. Customer service is your job Jose. Maybe that's why you still work at a pizza shop. I don't know how this place doesn't have more stars, because I have the app on my phone and I use it a lot. They have always been on point. No problems, the pizza is really good and so are their wings and the different breadsticks and deserts. I'm really impressed with all of their drivers, and this Super Bowl, I ordered a lot, via my phone app, and I forgot to delay the delivery time, and so I called and it was no problem for them, and they delivered exactly when they said they would. I have ordered twice within the last week and I was very pleased. I am new to the area, I work off of baseline but live in Jurupa Valley (no papa johns delivers to me) so I call and it's almost ready when I get there. Very friendly service. I always ask for extra peppers that they put in the box and they put like 10 in there! So perfect for my pregnancy cravings. I am always greeted by each person who is working when I come in. I have never had an issue with rude people, nasty pizza, etc. The store is clean and well kept. Maybe people just need to change their attitude and look at the way they treat the employees of the company that they are working with. This is a good Papa John's but it is very busy and it takes a long time for delivery. Always have the right order and food tastes good.People are nice and usually helpful. I would say the specials are really good. Worth the wait for delivery. Sometimes food is not as hot as you would want but you preheat your oven to 450 before it arrives and then pop it in for 10 minutes and EXCELLENT! read more

We ordered 2 large pizzas last night, one large with pepperoni and the 2nd was thin crust alfredo pizza with chicken (add on). The pizzas arrived and the thin crust alfredo pizza had one piece of chicken in the entire pizza. We called to complain, and 30 minutes later they sent us a replacement, but this time the crust was regular, instead of the thin crust. We called again to have our order be corrected, and the manager said that they had practiced customer care by coming to deliver the second pizza. We asked for our money back, but the manager said she could give us a voucher. We asked for a phone number to make a complaint, and the manager provided a non-working number. This may not be a big deal to have the second pizza be regular crust instead of thin, but the principle is you can make a pizza order, pay for it, and not get the correct pizza that you ordered, which is understandable. But, businesses should be held accountable in correcting these mistakes with paying customers by giving them what they paid for. It seems nowadays, things are more expensive but the product and service is cheaper. We also did not get the voucher. read more
