This was my first time ever at CAVA, and as someone who loves Mediterranean food, I genuinely could not have asked for a better first experience! Jane was absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked in. Since I had never been to CAVA before, she took the time to walk me through everything... from the different proteins and toppings to the sauces and all the options for building my bowl. She even shared some of her personal favorites and popular customer choices, which made figuring out my first order so much easier. She was incredibly patient, friendly, and welcoming and never made me feel rushed. Julian, who helped me at the register, was just as kind and informative. The customer service from both of them really stood out and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Then, to top off an already amazing first experience, they surprised me by making my meal on the house for my first visit and told me they hoped I enjoyed everything and would come back. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture and really speaks to the level of hospitality at this location. And the food absolutely lived up to the experience! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and I loved being able to customize my bowl with so many different Mediterranean flavors and ingredients. My first experience ordering through DoorDash wasn't the best, so I decided to come in person this time. The in-person customer service was much better, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bathrooms were also very clean, which I appreciated. The food tastes fresh, clean, and healthy, but the portions are still very small for the price. Even when asking for extra, they really don't give much. I'm definitely more of a BaqBa girlie when it comes to portions and overall value. I love cava. The service is usually pretty fast and the quality never suffers. I usually get a salad bowl with falafel, red pepper hummus, harissa and tzatziki, all the veggies, pita crisps and tahini. The falafel is always warm and crispy. The flavors continue to complement the ingredients in my bowl. It lasts two meals and hits both times. Affordable and delicious. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it! Lots of options for vegetarians and nonvegetarians. The roasted vegetables are also a delicious main. My husband loves any of their chicken options! What's really upsetting is I paid for delivery and service fees and had to drive there to get my order fixed because of the order is placed online they can't refund it and I still have to contact customer support for a refund. Service is great--fast, efficient, and friendly. The food was delicious, and the value is amazing. We ordered the kids' meal because the portions were already huge. My son loves their food so much that he actually introduced it to us and even showed us how to order in a way that saves money. Check the pictures later and you'll see how generous the portions are. Everything was chef's kiss perfect, from the zesty harissa to the creamy hummus to the tsaziki that strongly suggested me to write this review. The staff? Phenomenal. But let's talk about the MVP: Allysa. She greeted everyone like they were long-lost family and tossed out top-tier recommendations like a flavor fairy godmother. (Okay yes, I may have been her coach once upon a shin guard ago, but I'm only a little biased.) Also, word of advice: Do NOT sleep on the pita chips. They are crunchy, golden triangles of joy. I like the digital drive through. Niw what it is, a drive through were you pick up you're online order. There's no menu or speakers to any food. You drive through straight to the windows, tell them your name, and they get your order. My addiction so far are the pita chips, I absolutely LOVE those chips. I get full off the chips alone and have to end up eating my meal a little later. The pita wraps are every thing. Full and not dry, but they fall apart easily because of being so saucy. Went to the one in Phoenix, Avondale. Thats the one i like. Food is exspensive but really good. You feel good eating there, no burgers and fries place. Its set up like a Chipotles. I cant get past the Spicy lamb meatball bowl. I always split it and its still enough. I noticed they have some interesting drinks, but i havent had one. She said it was like Chipotle and that we can choose a bowl or a sandwich. I choose the bowl. On the serving window, there's the choices you can pick, either greens, dressing, protein. I chose the greens and grains (arugula + white rice), hummus, steak, avocado, cucumber, and hot harissa/vinaigrette and a side of pita bread. Avocado is extra. For protein portions, they give a small amount. Considering the price, not too sure about that. The pita is not gluten free. They also offer dessert like cookies and brownies. Cava has always been a favorite of mine. Love that they migrated to the IE. Amazing flavors. They only reason I went with 4 stars is because of the service. Not the employees, they're busting ass but there is a lack of employees in the front service part. While I was there I downloaded the app and it looks fairly easy to navigate. They have a drive through window for "digital orders" which next time I will Utilize. The line was very long and slow inside. The girls upfront were hustling and friendly.
