Apartment cafe was a nice and fun experience, we came on a weekday and although there was remodeling in the front lot, we were easily able to find street parking on the side of the apartments that was about 1-2 blocks from the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant was awesome, it truly felt like we were stepping into someone's downstair's apartment and just coming to hangout and snack. I loved the decor which made it feel very homey. I was very excited for the Turkish coffee which was a fun experience, it's definitely on the darker more bitter side but the server told us a fun story about fortune telling with the coffee after you drink it and although I'm 99% sure we did it incorrectly, it was still so fun to try and learn something new! We also had the tuna, banana pepper and cheese Kanape which is a traditional dish, it was actually pretty tasty for being quite simple, I liked the peppers, it gave the dish a slight tartness, I didn't taste any spice personally, but it tasted like tuna salad with cheese on toast. Nice and savory with a crunch. Their paninis are also good and the homemade potato chips were really good, I would buy those at the market if they ever bagged them. They were light and crunchy with the perfect amount of salt. We also saw a machine for some sort of dole whip but we didn't partake, but it seemed like something nice to try if you were interested! Stumbled upon this cafe on our way to another shop. So of course, we had to stop and give it a try first. The drinks were great! The barista was amazing, friendly, and courteous. We ordered the Horchata Frappe and an Iced Mocha. Both excellent and the Horchata was actually good unlike other places that just add cinnamon. I stumbled upon Apartment Café out of necessity, and it turned out to be a hidden gem. I was in town for a conference here in Ontario, and the hotel I booked (shoutout to Dollar Tree Hotel ) wouldn't let me check in early or use their business center. I needed to work and think fast--so I searched nearby and found this spot. What a blessing in disguise. The café was peaceful, clean, and had the perfect vibe for getting things done. The gal behind the counter was incredibly helpful and welcoming--she took the time to walk me through the drink and food options and even made me her favorite horchata drink (which I tried both hot and cold--both were fire) I was able to work, refuel, and feel genuinely taken care of. Cute little place to order coffee and hot sandwhiches. I got the rose latte and it was delicious, a perfect combination where the flavors complimented each other instead of competing. The only issue is the place can get hot. Not sure if their AC was broke but our party didn't stay. I think once they have their AC running again, we'll be more inclined to stay and try their sandwhiches. read more

Loved this coffee shop. Adorable angel wings inside and out. Great place to study. They had an Affogato Espresso today and it was delicious. My daughter also tried the veggie pannin and the pink Matcha. Both were good. Will be back to try more options. There is a bookshelf with some books you can read as well. The real downside is the parking. You must park on Hermosa unless you are ordering take out. There are a few parking spots in front of the coffee shop for take out only. Apartment Café is a whimsical café gem for my latte lovers in Rancho Cucamonga. I came here to enjoy their cuteness and to take promotional photos for my book club, and of course to enjoy a latte which getting some work done. I ordered a Turkey Pesto ($9.79) and a large hot Pink Matcha Latte ($6.96). I was able to seat myself and pick a cute spot. Most of their café was cute so it wasn't too hard to find a cute spot. The turkey pesto and pink matcha latte were quickly prepared. And yummmm. Everything was fantastic! The turkey pesto came with some chips that added a crunchy element to the meal. I especially loooooved the pink matcha latte. I had just came back from Japan and I was having matcha withdrawals and this was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed it sooooooo much that I actually ordered an iced matcha latte togo on my way out. Both of the owners were so nice. When I first came in I ordered from the husband, and by the time I left I ordered from the wife. They were both super nice and helpful. This is one of the cutest coffee shops I've been to. There is a variety of drinks and small selection of sandwiches. The service was excellent and music was great. I had the turkey and pesto panini. It was grilled perfectly and liked that the turkey was sliced very thinly. My friend had the cheese and jam panini. They said it was good surprisingly as they never considered putting those two ingredients together. I'll definitely be back especially for the Turkish coffee which is served traditionally. read more

I've been coming here since July 2021, and Apartment Cafe has steadily remained my favorite place to eat/drink! Their paninis and lattes are always so delicious! The paninis are very flavorful and filling; they come with a side of chips. There are always new seasonal latte flavors, and we've loved each one we've tried! The owners, Amir and Nora, have been so welcoming on every visit :) They've really become a second family to us, bringing joy and comfort whenever we stop by! They're so sweet to remember our regular go-to orders and oat milk substitutes! Their customer service is excellent! The atmosphere is calm and inviting. With light music playing in the background and books/magazines available to read, it's a great place to to study! The decorations are so beautiful and aesthetic- from the mural of the wings, to the floral arrangements, to the tables and seating! I ordered the chicken pesto without tomatoes, plus the horchata frappé James Recommended This is a hit and a cream cheese bagel with a muffin. I have to say, that James was right this was Amazing. I had to order 2 no lie. Heck I even recommended it. it's definitely a 9 out of 10--totally worth trying! The rose latte was great--really well made. But the mosquito situation was insane. I got six bites in under half an hour inside the cafe. When I mentioned it, the staff just said, "what can I do?" Honestly... maybe try closing the door and running the AC? It's a shame because the coffee is solid, but the experience was anything but. I ended up just pouring my coffee into a to-go and leaving. It's impossible to get work done otherwise. Until they take the issue seriously, I wouldn't recommend staying, grab your drink to go. read more

This place is the spot!!! The drinks were delicious. My partner and I are huge on coffee shops and quality coffee, so we are pretty brutal when trying new places. But let me just say that this place is worth the crazy parking for. (Parking situation can be kinda hectic, park off hermosa Ave.) Anyways yes. Try it. The vibe is awesome, the owner is super welcoming and kind, and the drinks and food are great! We tried the Pink Dashiell Horchata (Strawberry horchata frappe), the Lavender Latte, and the Pink Matcha. We also got the Turkey panini and the Chicken panini but forgot to take a picture :(. While the place is small, it's a quiet coffee shop with many others studying there. They also have outlets. On the day I went it was a little hot inside - there was no AC and the doors were left open but it didn't bother me much.
