We were up on a Saturday morning decided to go get coffee. We tried to go to three other places and they were super crazy that we looked up this place and decided to go luckily there was not too many people in my and it was a super hot day they were very unique in the fact that they had umbrellas outside for their customers that we were waiting to get inside to place their orders. I thought that was awesome We got in waited about 10 min place our order with the gentleman that was helping us at the register. He was very sweet and helpful joked with us for a while. We had told him we had went to other places, but they were super packed. He said we were meant to be there because this one was the best and honestly I think I might have to agree with him. Customer service was fantastic. We received our drinks pretty quickly and they were absolutely delicious. It was very crowded inside so we couldn't sit down inside and enjoy our pastries and coffee, but we went ahead and took that home and it was just as good. I will definitely be back again.
Nook Coffee Bar is easily one of my favorite matcha spots to go to. I always find myself coming back for their Island Matcha, and I've even put a lot of my friends on it at this point. It is a bit of a drive for me, but I genuinely think it's worth it every time. The worker there is really nice, and the café itself is small but cozy, with a relaxed vibe that makes it a good place to just sit and enjoy your drink. The Island Matcha is by far my favorite. It's made with oat milk, coconut, and macadamia syrup, which gives it a really smooth and creamy texture. The coconut adds a light tropical sweetness, while the macadamia syrup gives it a subtle nutty richness that pairs really well with the matcha. It's well balanced without being too sweet, and it just has a really comforting, slightly unique flavor that makes it stand out from a regular matcha latte. I've been wanting to try their other drinks, but honestly I like this one so much that I just keep going back to it. At this point it's hard for me to switch up my order.
So cute inside and I was so impressed with my Nook way cold brew! The best way I could describe the taste is the leftover milk of the honey graham cereal and it brought back many childhood memories for me I was OBSESSED, not too sweet. I will definitely come back for that one.

My husband got the Spanish latte and he thinks it's mid+. The cup size is smaller than we expected too. Food wise we ordered a kouign amann (I can't pass one up when I see one) and a ham and cheese croissant. Haven't tried them yet, so I'll report back.
First timer! The line was LONG! They don't have much room indoors so if the line is too long; you'll have to wait outside (sometimes in the heat). The drinks were yummy! The mocha latte was sooooo chocolately. The Spanish latte was fire! We didn't try any pastries but they sure did look yummy. Worth the wait.

I purposely fill up on gas at this 76 location just so that I can stop by Nook and get a coffee for myself! I usually order their iced latte with agave sweetener. The interior is quite small and cramped, so I'm not sure if this is a good study spot. In addition, the lines can get long to the point where customers are waiting outside of the door. That's how good the coffee is! Overall, my experience has been generally good and I'm a fan of their coffee and service.

My husband ordered the Spanish latte, which was delicious and reminded me of Tierra Mia Café. I had the iced hazelnut latte with oat milk, and it was good as well--smooth and flavorful. I also loved how modern and cute the café looked inside. I would definitely come back again and recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
I tried Nook since I was in the area and I would personally not recommend. We ordered the matcha latte 50% sweetness and hojicha latte 30% sweetness. The matcha latte had little to no matcha flavor and was overwhelmed by the milk. The hojicha latte felt grainy/gritty and not a smooth hojicha/milk blend. Next time, I would try the coffee instead. Despite the drinks, service is fast and the people are all very nice. The interior is aesthetic as well, but the seating is not particularly comfortable if you want to do some work here.
This place is busy busy! Despite the long line, they work fast and trust me the quality is very much there. I ordered a flat white (wasn't in the mood for anything sweet but needed a caffeine hit) and it was perfectly smooth. My hubs got the coconut matcha and loved how coconut-ty it was and not too sweet. Hit this place up next time you're craving coffee or matcha!

This place literally is a nook! So cute and tiny with ceremonial grade matcha! Today we tried the island and strawberry matcha. So amazing and you could really taste the quality. Service was quick and friendly! They were also able to make my drinks less sweet and still delicious. Apparently it gets busy because they offer umbrellas for when you stand in line!
Delicious Hojicha drink among other items in the menu. Can't go wrong with a drink but they also have pastries and other croissants. I've tried their feta and spinach Danish. I wish their cookies were sold in singles not just per bag. Hojicha tastes very earthy and delicious with their agave syrup. I asked for oat milk with my hojicha. Super close to the main admin building for work so it's perfect for a pick up or stop by. read more

We have been big fans of Nook since we moved to the area. And have been coming consistently. We were encouraged to collect points by one of their employees and recently, we were disappointed when we wanted to claim our free coffee when we were told that some of points expired. This has happened to us more than twice. What in the world!! We patronize a lot of local coffee shops and not a single one of them have their points expired on us. We really enjoy and love your coffee but prolly will stop coming. Yeah we know that our purchases matter not that much to your store but hopefully the owner will change his system of awarding loyal customers. Until then, signing off. read more

Drinks came out great! Coastline was definitely the best of the two. Love that they have a selection of dairy alternatives. The line wasn't long but it did take quite a bit to get an order in than it should've. Each guest in front of us was ordering a tray if not more of drinks and they were taking and making orders almost one by one. Great drinks but definitely a slower paced shop. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to come on a whim! The coffee bar is located on a corner and can be easily spotted. There are multiple shops and restaurants in the area. The coffee bar looks modern, inside and out. There were outdoor tables outside. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there were no customers. There are alot of contemporary pieces such a wooden bar and seating. We ordered the vanilla latte and the island matcha, which the barista said was their popular drinks. She was nice and helpful. I noticed their pastry shelf was completely empty. We didn't wait long for our order, they were fully staffed. Soon after, more people started coming in. The barista called out our order. The vanilla latte foam was a heart, which I thought was cute. The Island matcha is very unique and I can definitely taste the combination of coconut and macaroni syrup. So nice! read more
Always love my matcha from nook. I come from Santa Monica and I always order my mom and I a Lavender Matcha with Almond Milk extra sweet and take it to her when I visit the inland empire. Everyone is always so friendly during my visit. Even though you have to wait outside sometimes they are very swift. read more

This is a really good grab and go spot. If you are looking for a place to work or meet up with someone this may not be your spot. There is not a lot of seating and it's very uncomfortable. Great coffee shop! I got the strawberry matcha, I'm new to matcha but I enjoyed it. Compared to fireproofs strawberry matcha it's a tad more watery and less sweet but still enjoyable - would come again. Not bitter or clumpy. Not study friendly - only one outlet and 4 seats with a table. Mostly benches. Does have a bathroom and wifi. Easy parking. read more

Drinks: Matcha Latte (7/10) was decent. Not super strong or standout but still enjoyable. A solid choice if you want something simple. Strawberry Matcha (6/10) not my personal favorite, but if you like strawberry in your drinks it might be worth trying! It's okay, just not my preference. Service: They accidentally gave me the wrong drink at first and gave me a strawberry matcha instead of a normal matcha latte but were nice about fixing it. Even with a mini rush starting up they stayed polite and handled it well. Ambiance: Small and cozy with a relaxed feel. Some people were working on laptops while others were chatting. The seating setup is cute with built-in tables and there are window seats too. Lines can happen but we got lucky and didn't wait. read more

We were getting some holiday shopping done in the area so we desperately needed coffee motivation. We were able to found parking pretty easily but were surprised to find a line outside the door waiting to get in. We weren't in a rush so we waited. It took us maybe about 10 minutes to get all the way inside. I think this happens often because there were umbrellas available for patrons to use to protect against the sun! A thoughtful touch. Once we got inside, we saw that the place is quiet, simple but modern. The seats looks pretty uncomfortable and bare so I would say this is more of a grab and go place. Service was running quickly and smoothly so it didn't take long for us to place our order and get our drinks. We opted for iced drinks and a chocolate croissant: -Matcha Latte with whole milk. The matcha was ok. I wish I had known it came pre-sweetened. It was too sweet for my liking. I feel like the sweetness can overpower the matcha flavor sometimes so I like to get it unsweetened if possible. I still enjoyed my drink but next time I'd ask for it to unsweetened or go for something else. -Coastline Cold Brew. This is their cold brew with macadamia and coconut syrup, and oat milk. This was pretty tasty. It is also sweet, but that's expected from the ingredient description. Even though it was sweet, I thought it was all balanced well. I would get this again. -Chocolate Croissant. They asked if we'd like it warmed up and we said yes. When we got it, it didn't feel too warmed up to be honest. Surprisingly one of the BEST matcha lattes I've ever had in the IE. I highly recommend the Coconut Matcha Latte! Not your typical matcha order. The matcha was so strong and earthy, yet the coconut syrup (made in-house) compliments the drink perfectly! Sweet, nutty, and creamy. We came here at 7:45 AM Sunday and as soon as we ordered, a HUGE LINE formed behind us. Clearly a super popular spot in the mornings. I'll definitely be back! Nice staff. Not overly friendly like Dutch Bros or Starbucks. Good or should I say great coffee must be like good wine. $6.50 for a 10oz (the only size available) was good but to be honest was no better than the more popular places in my opinion. I was the oldest person in line which tells me it's a thing now. Small is hip and y'all want to be part of the hip group so you stand in line and get your shot glass of coffee and say you're apart of it all. I was expecting more but that's me. 5/7/2025 Recently opened, Nook has been quite popular here. Everytime I'm here, there's always a long line out the door! Fortunately, I got here around 12:50pm on a Wednesday and there was no line! First time there was no line when I came here. Last time I was here, I was standing outside in the sun for over 15 minutes. CAPPUCCINO This has been my favorite go-to drink. Love their frothy milk foam and their espresso is not bitter nor too strong. I add two raw sugar packets to sweeten it and it is the perfect pick-me-up drink! MATCHA TONIC Another go-to when I'm here. The matcha tastes great and as a tonic, it is a deliciously refreshing, fizzy drink with a hint of lemony flavor from the tonic water. You can't go wrong with this drink! Drinks don't take long and they're quick in making them. Never had any issues with my drinks too. I didn't order them today, but I've tried their iced Strawberry Matcha and their iced Lavender Matcha. Their Strawberry Matcha's strawberry flavor was weak and I wouldn't recommend. Their Lavender Matcha had the perfect balance of lavender and matcha. Any lavender matcha lover would enjoy this! I tried both of these drinks with regular milk. It's quite a lot of milk, btw, so be aware for anyone ordering with regular milk. And yes, there are milk alternatives (oat, almond, macadamia). There's a small pastry display case with various pastries, but they're not consistent in what they have. They mainly have butter croissants and ham & cheese croissants stocked up, but other pastries have been MIA or almost gone. Haven't tried their pastries yet though. They also sell cookies and brownies. Maybe one day I'll give it a try. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly service! Of all the coffee shops I've visited, they're the friendliest! I'd never thought I'd appreciate friendly service until you enter snobby coffee shops like Portola Coffee Roasters and you see that you do not have to deal with baristas like that. SEATING AREA Indoors, there's benches with small tray tables. One bar seating area for 3 people. It's small inside and it's mainly for people having their orders to go. However, when it's not crowded, it's quite comfy when seated at the bench and enjoy your hot drink. There's also two small tables outdoors. BATHROOM Had to write this because I appreciate when there's a bathroom in coffee shops. Some small coffee shops don't have one for customers, which is shocking at times, but I guess there's no one to clean them. Anyway, Nook has a single, unisex bathroom. Very clean too. PARKING This is located directly across from 76 gas station and there's other small businesses in this small strip mall. Parking is adequate. You can still find parking inside, as it doesn't get too busy during the week. Weekends are always a bit risky with parking, as people are mainly there for coffee or gas. read more
I really enjoyed my hot Spanish latte from here. I appreciated the balance in flavor as well as the appearance- right away I knew I had a near perfect brew. I would have liked it to have been a bit hotter, but other than that it was delicious. It's a nice, small location which serves it purpose nicely. The young lady that assisted me was welcoming, and the young man that followed with a smile, made the experience even more inviting. I definitely recommend a visit to Nook. I visited Nook during a week-long stay at a hotel across the street, and it quickly became my go-to spot every morning. I had the honey lavender latte and the hibiscus lemonade -- both were incredible. The flavor profile of the latte was perfection, with the honey and lavender balanced beautifully. The hibiscus lemonade was refreshing. Such a cozy spot with amazing drinks. The baristas were friendly and the foam art pretty good. Highly recommend! read more
