    Cookie Butter Coffee
    Deisha S.

Overall, very pleased with my short, but sweet experience! I ordered the cookie butter specialty latte (hot) after I asked the cashier for some recommendations. Cashier said that if I prefer my coffee sweeter, they'd recommend the cookie butter or the sidecar. If not as sweet, the Spanish latte - very helpful! The roast is lighter than many other cafes I've been to - which was a nice change of pace. Their lattes use standard double shots of espresso which provided a nice boost for the morning. The store decor was also super cute and I appreciated the staff for assisting in my (very indecisive) decision making^^

Ordered a cookie butter latte and their Vegan cookie! Both were so delicious 10/10 recommend! Although the coffee shop is challenging to find because there's no sign outside, the inside of the coffee shop is so cute!

Location - INSIDE of Take Your Seat The matcha was pretty good, 4/5. Service was amazing. The barista was so sweet & informative of their menu and desserts at the front counter.

This place is a bit hidden. When I showed up I thought I was in the wrong place. The coffee shop is inside a restaurant. Staff was nice and the coffee was good too.

Want great coffee made with craft and care?! You've found the place! This coffee bar is located inside the cutest eatery 'Take ur seat too' which gets really busy and only tells me how great their food must be. Only makes sense that Local Coffee is served here as well. If you see this place busy don't worry, you can still go in and order straight from the coffee bar. Highly recommend the Mexican Sidecar!

Very straightforward, but really well balanced. If you've never had chicory coffee before, it has a deeper, slightly earthy flavor that stands out from a standard cold brew without being overly bitter. It feels inspired by Louisiana/New Orleans-style coffee rather than the super sugary "dessert coffee" trend that a lot of places lean into right now. What I especially appreciate is the price point. At around $5.75, it feels reasonable for a specialty coffee drink that still tastes unique and intentional.

The line was out the door, but I knew she'd love waking up to a nice cup of coffee, so the wait didn't bother me. I ordered coffee along with three ham and cheese croissants to go. When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.

As far as getting to the location; depending on the day, you'll either wait in a long line or no line at all to walk in. Immediately upon entering the building you are met with the usual metal detectors. Head to the left and you should see it there no problem. They have their own little courthouse café all to themselves with no competition in sight. There were plenty of little 2 top tables to sit at and enjoy your beverage. Service: I was met with good hospitality and a cheerful hello from the team. Eric and Mark served me. They kept busy with their drinks and were cleaning throughout in between. They work well together and you can tell they have good synergy when it gets really busy there. Thank you for letting me tell a joke to both of you despite how busy you were. Food: I opted in to get one of my favorite types of drink: Taro! They served Boba type drinks there and figured, "Sure! I'll try this spot out. Why not?" It was a pretty good drink and the prices sure didn't disappoint. I like that they make it quite affordable so that you're not breaking the bank and could enjoy an entree and a delicious drink for under $20 I'd recommend you come check them out or if you had jury duty like me, you can have the security blanket in knowing that if you don't have enough time to eat breakfast or make coffee, you can grab something there! --Derrek with 2Rs P.S. For instance, there were groups that came after me who rushed for the table and didn't even order for a long time. Even when we pointed it out, the restaurant didn't care. Honestly if they waited, the folks who came first would have been done with their food by the time their food comes out. Total chaos. Also they ask their guests to put away their own food. The guests before us didn't so I had to clean up the table myself. My cousin has a health issue where the outdoor heat isn't good for her so I had to be a vulture with these tables. Sigh. And in general I know she prefers the cuteness of the indoors. I wanted to get the Take Ur Seat Salad, but they would only add chicken to it when I wanted a different protein. Honestly I'm not sure what's so hard about throwing on a different protein. But they let me do the rice bowl and substitute the rice with salad... Honestly isn't it easier to let me do the salad and add protein? So my cousin and I both got the Rice Bowl ($15.95) with the Longanisa. My cousin had hers normal with the rice and I had the salad substitute. For those unfamiliar longanisa is a sweet and savory sausage. The food tasted decent but the portion is really small for the pricing. There was barely any egg. Not a very satisfying meal. The experience isn't enjoyable enough for me to come back and I feel like the portions are small. It might be a good spot to pick up coffee for the road, but not a sit down brunch.
