My family said that usually on the weekends when they come it is a bit more busy so we were lucky! Inside was clean and I loved the vibe of the coffee shop. Very inviting and a casual place to hangout and have some coffee or a matcha. I decided on the banana latte with whole milk. It was delicious! I love that the banana foam tasted like fresh banana and not the artificial banana flavor. The drink was creamy but I could still taste the flavor of the espresso. I will be trying another drink next time I am in town!

When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.
