Turkey Swiss panini - for some reason no arugula and i wasn't told if there wasn't any??
    Robyn H.

Personally I was underwhelmed. Online looked great, upon arriving the vibe was nice with good music that wasn't too loud but loud enough, minimalistic decor (in a vibey way). The service was great, they were attentive and quick, the drinks came out quick as well! Coffee : got the plain vanilla latte with almond milk because I wanted to try their coffee/lattes without all the extra flavorings. My friend got the creme brulee latte, and overall they both kinda tasted more like milk than coffee. And I understand that they are lattes but I barely tasted coffee. The food is where I was more disappointed in. I got both chicken pesto and turkey swiss panini. Chicken pesto: had no pesto, I had asked the server if the pesto was a spread vs chicken flavored with pesto or something because i was confused on why I just got a chicken and cheese panini, and they told me it should be a spread. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but a panini pressed chicken and cheese is baseline good. Turkey Swiss: had no arugula, and I mean not a huge deal but if its unavailable it should be expressed or at least changed on the menu? Again not a bad sandwich but it was just a turkey Swiss panini with not much else so I'm not sure if i would want to pay $10+ for it. I want to try their matcha but I'm debating if its worth to gamble seeing if it's going to be good matcha or just a sweet drink. Nothing wrong with a sweet treat, but more a personal preference if I'm looking for a quality coffee/ matcha.

Simple and unpretentious coffee shop with a peaceful vibe perfect for getting some work done. Minimal decor, but huge flavors. Kind, welcoming service and a nice variety of drinks make this place an easy favorite. If you're looking for somewhere calm, cozy, and focused on really good coffee, this is the spot.

Terrific place to grab a cup of coffee and write in your journal or read a book (Morgan's Books is right next door). Service was especially friendly and attentive to all of my particulars for the coffee. Also I had the pumpkin oats muffin it was delicious. Respectfully Reviewed.

Garlic and Cheese croissant, brûlée & beloved and holy horchata

Stopped by Eden & Clay on a Sunday morning before our weekly farmers market trip and really enjoyed it. It was pretty busy, but the space never felt chaotic. The vibe is minimalist, clean, and welcoming, with a good amount of seating both for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet coffee. We ordered the Brûlée + Beloved and Holy Horchata drinks, along with the garlic cream cheese croissant. Everything was well-made, and the croissant was especially memorable. The croissant was flaky, savory, and paired nicely with the drinks. The staff were friendly and efficient despite the morning rush, which was appreciated. Overall, it's a great local spot with a thoughtfully designed space and quality drinks. I'd give it somewhere around a 3.75/5, but rounding up to 4 stars. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

First time trying this place. It's in a small plaza, so parking shouldn't be hard to find. It wasn't too busy when I went, since I went to grab a drink. I ordered an Ube matcha latte. And I saw the goodies they had and got an Ube white chocolate chip cookie and a s'mores cookie. The drink was delicious. Upon first sip you get matcha, but once you mix it you get the Ube flavor as well as the matcha. They don't overpower each other. The cookies have a good bite and chew to them. It's not too crumbly or not too doughy. It is a thick cookie and you definitely get the Ube / smores taste. The ambiance is chill. A lot of people lounging or studying. Cool place to hang out as it's not too loud, even when there's a lot of people

First time coming here and it was hands down one of the best coffee shop experiences! From the moment I walked in, Ashley greeted me with the biggest smile at the register while Bri was crafting drinks behind the bar. Ashley helped me decide between the "Brulee & Beloved" and the "Holy Horchata," and I ended up going with the Brulee & Beloved -- absolutely delicious! By the time I got there around 1 PM, the pastries were sold out, but I did try the Chicken Pesto and it was really good. The whole coffee shop had such a cute, chic vibe. I'll definitely be back... maybe even to work from here for a few hours!

Eden & Clay has been on my go to list for quite a bit. On a Sunday afternoon, there was plenty of parking in the lot. On the contrary, there wasn't a lot of studying/desk space on the inside. When we walked inside, we were greeted by the coffee baristas. We took some time scanning the menu and their pastries. We ended up deciding on the Garden Gold, while my fiancé got the Brulee & Beloved. We had our croissants warmed up and we took a seat near a sofa to do some work. Our coffees were good, but not quite memorable. I had hints of banana in the Garden Gold drink, but it wasn't strong enough. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. The coffee was there and I was definitely caffeinated. I just think I should have tried a different drink instead. As I watched other customers come in, they ordered drinks that looked like einspanners or some kind of drink with a cream top. I think I missed out on that, so I'll have to come back to try again. I definitely enjoyed the everything bagel seasoned croissant and their pistachio croissant. Both of them had fillings that complimented their toppings. Warming up your pastries is also a very good idea. The baristas were quite noisy in comparison to the study area. They gave me a fright here and there with their chatter, but nearing a few hours before closing, it was very quiet; ideal for studying and working. It wasn't noisy at all. I'd say I'll be back to explore their menu, but for the time being, I'm quite content.

Great spot for hanging out and studying with minimalist vibes. There a several tables available with a few outlets available. They are Christian owned and I love that they have drink names based on the Bible and a nice olive tree at the center, symbolic of peace and blessing in the Bible! I got their Brulee and Beloved which comes with a cream top and a caramelized top! I got the drink with almond milk and half sweet and it was perfect amount of sweetness for me since the cream top was already sweetened. It was definitely on the pricier end with alt milk and after adding tax but definitely very tasty. I also got their pistachio croissant warmed and it was a nice treat since I love pistachio and there was a tasty pistachio cream filling in the middle. Overall a lovely cafe with nice vibes! Definitely check them out if you're in the area.

Coffee spot that doubles as a hangout spot in Upland. Came here on a weekday evening and it wasn't super crowded, but there are a couple groups sitting around hanging out. There is no lying and I was able to order right away. I ended up getting the Holy Horchata latte. I thought it was tasty and it provided me with the pick me up that I wanted. I was just passing through, but it definitely looks like a place where people post up to do work or study. It's a nice space too with seemingly easy to find parking. Definitely would love to come back.

I've tried this place a couple times now. The servers are really friendly and the decor is modern minimalist. They often have interesting drinks, but I always seem to miss the seasonal menus by a few days. First time I visited, my boyfriend and I brought our chessboard to sip and play -- it was pretty packed on a Sunday and we didn't snag a good table until a bit later. Today, a Saturday late afternoon, the place is surprisingly empty. I brought my laptop and am finding this a really nice place to work. There is wifi (apparently only for 60 min?) and a few outlets available. The music could be a bit quieter but isn't distracting. As for parking, I generally don't have trouble finding a spot in the plaza lot! Blueberry matcha: 4/5, good but not memorable Passionfruit calamansi refresher: 5/5, as someone who doesn't generally order fruit drinks I actually REALLY like this, very refreshing, leans sweeter but I think the ice helps to round it out

BANANA MATCHA. I pass multiple coffee shops on my drive to Eden and Clay, and it's so worth it. The pastries are incredible too. It has been fairly busy every time I've been in.

LOCATION: located in North Upland off of campus and 15th, right off the 210 and not too far from foothill blvd. Plenty of parking spaces and located in a small shopping plaza. SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT : the two ladies there when I went were so nice. One was named Ashley I believe. Seems like a Christian community that owns it and works, great hospitality and service. The inside has a very simple and modern feel to it that is t overstimulating. Couple of seats inside and outside but I can see it getting busy during peak hours. Beautiful environment overall and has bathrooms as well. FOOD: great selection of coffee and unique seasonal drinks. They had Valentine's Day drinks and they were delicious. They have a variety of pastries as well. Overall great coffee and would definitely come back!

Nearby coffee shop so I wanted to pop in and check it out. It's in a complex with lots of parking. Upon entry, the place gives off a minimalistic vibe. Very cute. Good amount of seating. The folks behind the counter were friendly and nice. We ordered an ube latte and strawberry matcha latte. I think they accidentally made another drink so they offered it to us for free. The drinks were good. The only other thing I want to comment on is it's a slower service. It wasn't super crowded or anything. It just seemed like the drinks were slow to come out. I didn't mind since I didn't have anywhere to be but I'm sure that it would have been tough to wait if I was in a rush. Would like to come back and give more drinks a try. Love going to local shops!

It was so phenomenal that we ended up coming back twice! Visit 1: I ordered their most popular item--the Thai Tea Soft Serve with honey boba (9oz). Hands down, this is the best Thai tea soft serve I have ever tasted in California. The flavor is incredibly potent, rich, and stays completely true to a perfect soft serve texture. I ate it so fast I didn't even get a photo! My boyfriend got the same thing and added Oreo crumbs, which was a huge hit. Visit 2: I decided to explore the menu and tried the "Fire Dragon"--a black milk tea topped with crème brûlée and honey boba. It was delicious, though to make the tea more rich I recommend brewing the tea a bit longer to give that black tea flavor an extra punch against the rich cream. My little brother ordered the Thai tea soft serve with boba and Oreo crumbs (16oz) and his instant verdict was: "When can we come back?" Welcome back for another episode of Delicious with Zach!…read moreToday we tried a Carlotta, Pineapple Drop, Palmiers, Turkey & Cheese Croissant and Monkey Bread Carlotta - 10/10 Absolutely delicious. The texture, the bright lemon flavor, not overly sweet, and full of fresh flavor. Everything was perfectly balanced and on point. Pineapple Drop - 8.75/10 I was expecting the cookie to be a bit drier, but that was just my initial assumption. The pineapple flavor came through nicely and wasn't overly sticky or "tacky." Palmiers - 10/10 Baked to perfection. Flaky, soft, with the perfect amount of crunch. The flavor was beautifully balanced and those sugar crystals were delicious. Felt like I was sitting in a South American bakery. Turkey & Cheese Croissant - 7.92/10 The croissant itself was perfect, the turkey was good, and the cheese was just okay. In fairness, we only ordered this because they were out of the ham & cheese croissants (which we love). If I had never tried the ham & cheese version, this one would probably land in the high 8s or low 9s. Unfortunately, the turkey & cheese just didn't stand a chance against the original. Monkey Bread 10/10 Holy cow! The monkey bread can be described as addictive... the monkey bread is baked with pecans on the bottom, cherries mixed in, cinnamon and a soft dough drizzled with frosting. The monkey bread was so fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The pecans and cherries were perfectly balanced in the monkey bread creating a delicious snack. One last note: We went back up to order more palmiers and the wonderful lady working the counter (Maria) gave us a complimentary one and a monkey bread. Super kind and thoughtful; she actually helped guide us to the carlota as I was wanting a lemon bar or tart and they were out of them.
