I had stopped at this coffee shop for a quick cup of coffee around 7:00 am. There were numerous parking spots in front of the coffee shop. I noticed it was the only place open amidst the entire plaza. When I came in, there were a few other guests in front of me. They had already placed their orders and so I spent my time looking at their merchandise. The coolest part was their own keurig cups that they make off of their own brand. I went to the front, and wasn't too sure what to order. I ended up ordering the ripper, assuming that their iced drinks are really good. When I ordered it, I thought it was okay. It wasn't particularly strong that'll give me the intense caffeination, but it wasn't extremely sweet that'll prevent me from drinking it. It was heavily sprinkled with cinnamon on top, and that was where I realized I should have ordered a different drink instead. I do enjoy the decor and theme. That's why I gave it one more stare than I should have. It's still great to have a coffee shop that opens early and accommodates to your needs, especially nearby.
Brought my friend here since this is one of my favorite local coffee spots. I tried the Cookies N Scream today (would definitely recommend and order again ), and my friend got a Chai Tea Latte. Safe to say she's a fan now too haha. I also appreciated how fast everything was made and served, and as always, the ambiance inside is pretty rad

It's in the downtown area and there was a lot of parking right in front of the shop . The barista helping me was very nice and patient while I choose what I wanted since it was my first time there
Cool atmosphere and unique vibe inside the shop. I ordered a custom blended horchata and strawberry drink, so my experience may not reflect their standard menu items. Unfortunately, the drink wasn't what I expected. I was hoping for a more natural strawberry flavor, possibly with fresh strawberries or a fruit-forward syrup, but it tasted more like strawberry Nesquik. It was much sweeter than I prefer and the horchata flavor got lost. Since it was a custom order, I can't really judge the rest of their drinks, but this particular combination wasn't for me. I do have to say that the servers were sweet and quick to make my drink.
The customer service here is great! The staff is so friendly. The interior is very themed but there is no seating and no bathrooms. But there are benches outside. I ordered the Great White. The drink was delicious! I loved the flavor and it's perfect if you need a strong caffeine boost. It's sweet but not too sweet.
Been coming to Rad for years. Coffee is pretty good. They've got a bunch of different specialty flavors as well, but nowadays in my older age I enjoy the more standard stuff. Had a few of the cereal chillers and they're not bad - I wouldn't say they taste exactly like the cereal they're going for but close enough. I'd say of the ones I've tried, Captain Crunch or peanut butter crunch would be my recommendations. Husband likes to get the crazy strong drinks, great white and the wolf. These drinks are hella strong. I tried the great white once and had major caffeine anxiety so I'd say unless you're somebody who's used to consuming large amounts of caffeine, be warned. Parking is a pain in DT Upland in general but it's definitely a coffee staple worth checking out.
Super cool coffee shop with delicious coffee options! I got the cookies and screen which was absolutely delicious and I got oat milk! I highly recommend coming and trying this cool little coffee shop ! Service is great
We had such a great experience here! Casey was so helpful and recommended the vanilla matcha without sugar, which was really good. She was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The place had such a nice vibe, and we really enjoyed our visit. Definitely coming back!
Came in today to try them out after hearing so much hype ; let's start off with the service the ladies were very helpful and attentive gave us the top 3 drinks in every choice from tea to iced coffees , definitely made it easier for us to order we went with the electric mango and the cookies n cream drinks . Both drinks 10/10

4/19/25 Cute little, and I mean little coffee shop in Upland, cool staff, love the posted designs on the walls, no seats except for the one near the window (whilst waiting for your beverages) Ordered a hot oat milk latte, surprisingly good, $4.75 for a 16 oz ($1 for oat alternative), no tax!? Nice! Parking is everywhere, on the street & a public parking about a block away. Nice stop over
Was walking around downtown Upland and wanted a little refreshment. Enter Rad Coffee. It was later in the day so I wasn't looking for caffeine because I actually wanted to be able to sleep that night. I saw they also offer teas and lemonades, so that sounded perfect. It was fairly busy, even for the evening, and there was only one employee. She was rocking it, though, efficiently balancing taking orders and making drinks. The place is pretty cool with lots of stickers and skateboards. Punk-rock and spooky themed drinks. I decided to try the Mad Tiki which is a blend of lemonade, passion fruit, pomegranate and a hint of ginger. It was heavenly--a drink worthy of transporting you to a tropical paradise! I'd definitely visit again to try more of the menu, or maybe even another Mad Tiki!
Great coffee, service, I love the option of building your own blended coffee drink with lots of customizations. Definitely hitting up this place anytime i'm in the area
The customer service was awesome! They offered to sanitize the blender before making my ice blended mocha to ensure there were no traces of tree nuts. I added a shot of espresso since the blendeds only have coffee flavored powder, not coffee. I do love their coffee and it was a great added touch for them to go the extra mile sanitizing. This is the original RAD coffee location in the heart of downtown Upland. It breaks my heart to only give them 3 stars. Don't get me wrong, it's some of the best coffee around and that's why they get a solid 3 stars for the coffee alone. I've frequent many other RAD coffee locations, but this one is just a one off for me. The missing 2 stars? Well that is directed towards the layout of the store and staff itself. Staff here is not friendly at all, as if they are annoyed with the crowd that keeps them busy. Yes there is always a long line out the door, but the coffee is so good! The bathroom is closed off, not allowed to be used by customers. Really?! There is no place to sit inside other than 2 tiny benches by the entrance, which is usually always occupied by people waiting for their orders to be called. And yesssss pay attention to your name being called because if not, your order will just sit there at the front counter. Side note, don't order the cold brew here. It's awful. Everything else on the menu, even the lemonade is legit. If you want to stick around, there is seating on one of the many benches outside (not part of the coffee shop). A few other shops to walk around and check out. Ample parking for free around the area. read more
A Unique hole in the wall coffee shop named Rad Coffee that I stumbled across. Very busy and neighborhood favorite. I asked a returning customer in line for a recommendation and I ordered the Frankenstein Matcha. Review: iced Frankenstein Matcha - Matcha very strong bitter taste Crushed REAL Oreo cookies are quite large and do not suckle through the small opening of the regular sized straw. Suggestion: use Boba straws Overall the drink was tasty with authentic Matcha flavor Customer service: Was mid- maybe I came on a bad day and they were just super busy on a Saturday morning and not feeling friendly. 10/10 Drink: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Chillers was freaaaaaaking amazing. I mean honest to god best drink ever. I was literally drinking a dessert. I love all their cereal chillers series. I want to try every single one! 10/10 Service: No complaints. Good service. 9/10 Cost: $6.25 in total for the 16oz cinnamon toast crunch cereal chiller. WOW I am shocked how budget friendly this drink is! It's so rare to find a speciality drink at this price point. read more

Located right next to Cosmic Bakery, Rad Coffee looks nondescript from the outside, but inside is a different story. There's a rack of treats on one side and opposite it is merchandise customers can buy. The place looks like it's busy all the time, what with the long lines. Although there are no real tables and chairs to sip your coffee, there are benches by the entrance. It can get a bit crowded and chaotic but it just adds to the vibe. I tried the Horchata-gato, which is their take on affogato, and it sure is tasty. The decaf espresso shots did a lot to tame the sweetness. But I think I will ask them to use less sugar next time. I love that they can customize drinks! It's time-consuming but it makes for a better experience. I'm definitely trying the other coffees next time. This small business also has a location in Covina, which is closer to me. A coffee shop that is this unique and whose staff that sincerely wants to make customers happy deserves our full-throated support. read more
Great coffee with cool vibe (if you enjoy punk music)! Iced americano tasted very nice but the matcha is not what I'm used to. Possibly with more matcha to milk ratio so can taste the bit of matcha that's not mixed in but over all very enjoyable. read more

My wife wanted a coffee on our way back from Ontario, so the second she saw Rad Coffee pop up on Yelp we knew we needed to come and give this place a try. From the second I walked in, I fell in love with all of the old punk and hardcore flyers hanging up around the place featuring bands like The Misfits, Descendants, Black Flag, and Refused. They had old show fliers covering pretty much every inch of available wall space and that's something that'll bring me back in the future. Another cool thing about this place is that since I'm not a coffee drinker, I was able to try some lemonade on the menu and that also had me stoked. I ended up ordering the "Zombie" lemonade which they describe as "Rad Coffee's Zombie Lemonade is not your average lemonade. This chilling drink is made with a blend of lemonade and blue orange syrup, giving it a uniquely delicious flavor and an eerie green color. Sip on this refreshing beverage and feel like a zombie that has risen from the dead with every sip." I'll be honest here, I don't think the lemonade was a game changer or the best thing I ever had, but it was thirst quenching and tasted pretty good so it still gets a thumbs up from me. Overall, Rad Coffee has one of the coolest aesthetics I've seen in a coffee shop, a super friendly staff, and a large drink selection to quench anyones thirst. Not your everyday coffee, but definitely enjoy coming here when I'm in the area. It's a small shop with no seating, but the vibe is great. I usually get frappes, I've tried the Frankenstein drink and the peanut butter crunch drink. The black whip cream looks cool, but it does stain your lips a bit. Both drinks were on the sweet side but fun to have once in a while, adjust to your preferences. I recommend trying. I will be back! read more
This was my first visit here and i really had high expectations since so many people told me this place had good coffee. I love trying new places and I'm glad i got to try this spot out. I ordered a matcha Frappuccino with whip cream and caramel drizzle. My drink looked really cool after i to go back and tell them to add the whip i had asked for. Thats when i found out your guys apparently have different whip colors i thought that was cool. I unfortunately couldn't finish my drink, the caramel drizzle was way too sweet. So now i know for next time no drizzle at all. read more

one of our classics!! we got the cinnamon toast plus cookies and scream drinks. these drinks are based on cereals but blended so it is a sweet yummy treat. the cinnamon toast is a sweet cinnamon blended coffee and can give you a boost if you add a shot which i personally like! then the cookies and scream is a blended coffee as well with some oreo pieces which we also like to add a shot to it. highly recommend these drinks on a very hot day :-) wifi : no parking : street parking aesthetic : punk rock lol study area : no study area read more

Does rad coffee have charging outlets inside the lobby?
No they do not. It is very small inside with not much seating.
I plan on doing a motorcycle group ride here w/ my girls from San Diego. Are bathrooms available?
There are no public restrooms available in this establishment.
Can any drink be made 100% vegan? I see that it says that on their menu?
Most of the drinks can be made vegan, but I think there are 3 drinks that can't be made vegan. Not all cereals are vegan as well
Do blended drinks have coffee? I got the goosebumps but I'm unsure it has caffeine
Most do, but you can always ask for a drink to be without coffee or add espresso or cold brew into the blended drinks
Can you get the Dirty Chai sugar free?
It looks like they only have 1 type of chai and my previous job had this type, which is not sugar free.
Any sugar free options?
They have the basic ice tea, hot coffee and cold brew coffees that are sugar free.
What happened to the vegan poptarts and other baked goodies?
Wow! I never knew about those. I’m going to check into this. I’ve only visited once but would love to go back.
Do they sell any sugar free drinks?
I know they have stevia at the bar, but other than that sadly no sugar free syrup flavors yet here :/
Are service dogs allowed?
I believe service dogs are allowed in all places. This place I'm sure is does allow it. There's no where to sit inside all seats are outdoors in front so if anything it's perfect for dogs

Yes they do. They usually have some shirts and cups and pins and stuff.
Do you guys make a bullet proof coffee or butter coffee?
No they don't have that on their menu

Yup. Like any coffee shop. Hot or cold, teas and specialty lemonades.
What's the food option I saw doughnuts is there more?
They occasionally have a limited amount of baked goods i.e. cookies or donuts but nothing more
