I want to update my review, because now that this place has been here long enough, there is more information that needs to be shared. They NEVER follow their operation hours. While their coffee is decent and environment is nice, I have shown up SEVERAL times to this place and found it closed at the most random times. For instance, they can be open from 9AM-5PM, and I'll come at 10 or 11, and they're flat out closed. If this was just a one time or two time type of thing, it would be reasonable and understandable. But I have come probably on at least 5 different occasions, in which this was the case. They have no business serving the public if they can't keep the public's trust on their most basic promise: hours of operation. read more

Its a cute little place with tables and counters coming from trees frim Big Bear. Tommy the barista was excellent. He made some suggestions and i settled on a mango iced tea. It actually had slices of mango. Tommy is definitely an asset with his friendliness and knowledge . I will be going back. read more

My daughter and I saw this coffee shop while we were out in upland wanted to go in and try it looked charming, unfortunately we went in and the gentleman working behind the counter completely ignored us. He was making a coffee I assume and he was the only person behind the counter. There was a family sitting down with there drinks and a gentleman waiting for his order We waited looked around and were deciding on what to get we were in there a good 7 min and nothing no hello no I'll be right with you NOTHING it was like we were not in there so we both decided to leave. Such a bummed looked like a cute coffee shop but customer service was lacking big time I completely understand there was only one person working but when we came in, he could've said hello I'll be right with you. Came in today at 5:45pm, we had been in the area and noticed this coffee spot! We are always looking for new places to have coffee. Anyway we did see that they were closing soon, we mainly just wanted to see what the menu looked like and come back another day. As soon as we walked in a little girl playing said, we're closing soon! Ok no problem! I'm assuming this was the owners daughter. So we're looking at the at the Menu, checking out the baked goods and no one approaches us, welcome us, asks if we need help or are we ordering anything. Not a welcoming vibe even if they are closing soon. So we left! Not sure we'd come back. NEVER let a customer leave without talking to them. You could have said anything to make us feel welcomed. Such a bummer... Came by before Noon and the place was locked up and closed. The online hours state they are open until 6pm. Did see the owner get food delivered and lock back up so I know being closed wasn't an oversight. Came for the first time.. ordered a matcha tea and it was very bland. When I ordered, the front counter didn't provide any recommendations even when I let her know this was my first visit. The drink cost $7.50 which I didn't even enjoy nor finished drinking. It was basically the matcha and water nothing special. Then, I was meeting a coworker for coffee, after 20 mins the front cashier said she has to go to her other job since she just got called to come in sooner. A little coffee menu that packs a nice bite! They have your basic flavors plus a couple of specialties that I'm familiar with. Since I was new to the spot the barista recommended getting their latte that's made with housemade white chocolate syrup. So I went with that plus a flat white for the road. Before I continue I must tell you that they have mug service and that there deserves a WooP! WooP! So my latte was well balanced to my liking but my flat white was a little flat but it's cool cause the barista was fairly new and I get it. Plus he offered to make it again so that was cool of him. The shop is really quaint and they have those old Sinatra vibes flowing on which I didn't mind. Disappointing. Service was good and atmosphere is comforting. Everything was promising on arrival. The drinks themselves are where the problems arrive. First the iced vanilla bean latte. The consistency of the oat-milk was funky, but not enough to make it un-drinkable. It was just a little off. Not enough coffee flavor for my liking. This is exactly what I look for in a business. I walked in today about 4pm needing a little pick me up. I was greeted by I think the owner. I ordered a pour over coffee and he made it a personal experience. As I noticed things around the shop he would answer my questions and made it feel like home. My daughter even left saying, wow that place was so homey. Im sad I havent come before. I want to come here more often now that I know it exists and I think you should too. Trendy coffee shop nestled a plaza in Upland. Walked in and the temperature was very chill which was absolutely refreshing during the summer heat. I love coffee and this spot served me a delicious hot latte. I was very impressed. I wish I would've gotten the owners name before I left, seemed like a wholesome guy with a great attitude. was recommended this place by a friend, so decided to try it out! inside was cozy and cute but the menu was a little off. I ordered an ice chai latte....they were out of almond milk which was fine because they had 2% at least. staff was ok. chai latte tasted like I was drinking regular milk and no taste of the chai which was disappointing. they were out of stock of lids so I had to chug it down so it doesn't spill in my car. Unfortunately, the place just isn't there for me. You go inside and it's cute. The menu is pretty disorganized and there's less drinks suggestions and more just ingredients thrown on a board. The staff was super nice, but the girl taking the order kind of seemed like she knew what she was doing. And I was hoping at least the drink would make up for it. It really disappoints me to leave this review, as I love supporting small business. In fact, I've had a great experience the few times they were open. On three separate occasions I've gone out of my way to drive to Little Badger, and they were locked up and closed during their posted open hours. I've given up trying to support this shop with my time and money, I don't recommend going out of your way to get coffee here unless you're already shopping at Goodwill. I was so overjoyed when I entered this coffee shop. It's tucked in the corner to the right of the Goodwill, and upon entering the place is cleanly decorated sporting wooden tables the owner made himself. He is so kind and hospitable, and made us some great coffee. I ordered a single origin espresso--an Ethiopian Wush Wush with notes of dried rose, plum, and cherry cola. The owner made extra sure the shot was dialed in correctly, and was kind enough to perfect a second one after serving one that wasn't to his standard, which I thought was special. My girlfriend ordered a standard latte which was surprisingly sweet and balanced on its own, and really well done. For my coffee nerds, this place walks a perfect line between third wave and being I.E. marketable with it's delicious craft latte selection, which had other customers swooning. I will for sure be making this spot a regular. Please, buy local and support wonderful and humble businesses like these instead of the Dutch Bros opening down the street. We noticed this coffee shop while at the Goodwill next door. I was super excited to when I saw they served tonic espresso because it's hard to find, we entered and the place was very cute and cozy, I liked the aesthetic! But our excitement diminished as the time went by and no one had come out to great us or take our order, there was no one in sight but I heard voices in the back and we tried to call out a hello and received no response. As the length of the wait became awkward and too lengthy (5-10min) we decided to just leave. As we exited we tried to make ourselves known in a final attempt in hopes that we were just not noticed. My husband and I made an attempt to go here twice. Sadly we will never go back. Our first attempt said open online and we showed up and it was closed. Our second attempt the door was open and when we approached the owner was outside on the phone unfortunately he stayed on the phone the entire time so it was a bit unprofessional.
