Dessert time! After dinner at Tofu Chon, we stopped by Kape Republik for their famous halo-halo. We normally come here for the baked turon and ube brownies, but this time we decided to skip the pastries and go straight for dessert. The halo-halo was delicious as always. I just wish they added a little more ube ice cream to make it extra creamy. Still, it's one of our favorite spots, and it's wonderful to see Filipino American entrepreneurs thriving and sharing their passion through amazing desserts and baked goods.

I simply adored everything about this place. The desserts are incredible- full of flavor, beautifully displayed and packaged. This cafe has a rainbow assortment of Filipino pastries and creative coffee and matcha drinks. They also have halo halo, which is not so easy to find. I highly recommend this pastry cafe for a daily dance or for your catering events. The cakes look spectacular as well.

Visiting my friend who took me here to try their bites and beverages. I ordered the Island Girl Latte and it was good. I also ordered Beef Empanada, Corned Beef Bomb, Chicken Adobo Bomb. The latter was my favorite and the best of the three Finally I tried the Ube Flan Cupcake (flan ) and Calamansi and Ube Cookies. I enjoyed the Ube cookie and the Calamansi was pretty good. I would come back for the Chicken Adobo Bomb and try a different beverage. Ube cookie was delicious but may try another flavor. Service was friendly and helpful.

I'm in love with this little family-run Filipino bakery! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm and welcoming, really feels like a place where they genuinely care about their customers. The cookies ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I think I've tired every flavor; my favorites are ube, mango, captain crunch and red velvet. The island girl latte I tried today tastes just as good as the ones Im obsessed with in Haiwaii. Everything always feels homemade and thoughtfully made.I love supporting family-owned businesses, especially when the food and hospitality are this good. Definitely a new favorite and a spot I'll be coming back to

Thanks to Yelp, I came across this cute little Filipino café, Kape Republik, in Ontario Ranch, and I'm so glad I did!!! They have such a great variety of pastries, desserts, empanadas, drinks, coffees, matchas, and all the sweet treats you could crave... I ended up getting the mango slush smoothie, which was delicious, light, fresh, and super refreshing... I also tried three of their crinkle cookies: birthday cake, s'mores, and ube, and all three were amazing!!!! They also have ube flan, which I'll definitely be trying on my next visit because Filipino desserts are my weakness and ube flan is one of my favorites... They even make beautiful ube birthday cakes, which would be perfect for a celebration... The café itself is very clean, cute, and beautifully decorated, and the staff was wonderful.. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to give great recommendations and explain the different desserts and drinks... One thing I thought was cool is that they have a 50% off counter for cookies they over-baked and have leftover... If you're in the Ontario Ranch area and have a sweet tooth, I definitely recommend stopping by Kape Republik... [[HIGHLIGHT]]So many delicious options, great service, and such a cute atmosphere...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back to try that ube flan!!!

Friendly staff with lots of dessert options. We had to try a couple crinkles, a cupcake, and a pie. Overall everything was delicious and worth the price they were charging at. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was small, but they still had seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee was refreshing and strong!

Came here for a last minute dessert for a family gathering and it was the first thing to be finished! When I told them it was from Kape Republik they all remember the Cerritos location from their crinkles and coffee. They had more options to choose and next time I know to pre-order more items :) def miss kape republik! Will be coming here more often when I come to visit Ontario!

Home away from home every time I come into the store, I always get greeted with a friendly smile! Also, just knowing I can get my favorite drinks/ food is special. Where my Filipino fam at!? When I get a sudden craving of Calamansi juice, this is my go to spot. This is a beautifully decorated little Café that sells coffee, baked goods, cakes, and also some food. My top drink is the Calamansi Ginger iced drink! Delicious! Parking is never an issue - come by and try their drinks!

I remember coming here when it first opened, I'm glad to see they've expanded their menu. The drinks are delicious! The pastries specially everything Ube, guava and panda taste phenomenal. I highly recommend this place. My mom loves it too!

    Halo Halo Shake

Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream. Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn't bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb. Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either? It was just meh. I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar. I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch. Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn't quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.

This place is a very nice Filipino-American style bakery with pastries, cookies, and very nice drinks selection. I got the cherry blossom matcha and it was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the energy this place had with its good vibes and music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service here was great. K was super seeet and kind. She was kind and welcoming. You can tell this place is full of love and warmth. Can I just say I got the smore crinkle cookie and it left me wanting more!

Welcome back for another episode of Delicious with Zach!…read moreToday we tried a Carlotta, Pineapple Drop, Palmiers, Turkey & Cheese Croissant and Monkey Bread Carlotta - 10/10 Absolutely delicious. The texture, the bright lemon flavor, not overly sweet, and full of fresh flavor. Everything was perfectly balanced and on point. Pineapple Drop - 8.75/10 I was expecting the cookie to be a bit drier, but that was just my initial assumption. The pineapple flavor came through nicely and wasn't overly sticky or "tacky." Palmiers - 10/10 Baked to perfection. Flaky, soft, with the perfect amount of crunch. The flavor was beautifully balanced and those sugar crystals were delicious. Felt like I was sitting in a South American bakery. Turkey & Cheese Croissant - 7.92/10 The croissant itself was perfect, the turkey was good, and the cheese was just okay. In fairness, we only ordered this because they were out of the ham & cheese croissants (which we love). If I had never tried the ham & cheese version, this one would probably land in the high 8s or low 9s. Unfortunately, the turkey & cheese just didn't stand a chance against the original. Monkey Bread 10/10 Holy cow! The monkey bread can be described as addictive... the monkey bread is baked with pecans on the bottom, cherries mixed in, cinnamon and a soft dough drizzled with frosting. The monkey bread was so fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The pecans and cherries were perfectly balanced in the monkey bread creating a delicious snack. One last note: We went back up to order more palmiers and the wonderful lady working the counter (Maria) gave us a complimentary one and a monkey bread. Super kind and thoughtful; she actually helped guide us to the carlota as I was wanting a lemon bar or tart and they were out of them. She suggested the carlota and described the taste and she was perfect in Her recommendations. Maria deserves employee of the month!

I ordered the Queen's Valentine's Afternoon Tea for four. The next day, it was delivered and perfect! The delivery driver was very sweet and helpful. Everyone loved the food and there was a lot. We were all full and had a bit left over. Having been to London a few times I was really impressed by how traditional the tea felt. The scones, the egg and mayo sandwich, and the Viennese whirls in particular. My favorite though was the coronation chicken salad. Yummy. If you are wondering whether to book here, do. I kept trying f to reach them and did receive a call. They said the order was scheduled for the next day according to them. No. I sent the email to them proving the orders has indeed been processed for today. I was asked if I would return tomorrow for the order. I am not able to drive back again from out of town. I asked for a refund. I was then told their marine couldn't process it and that they would have to call me back. I am supposed to get a call back in about 45 minutes. I remain hopeful that I will at least get my money back. Based on my person experience, I do not recommend this business. Just wanted to warn anyone else considering an order so that this does not happen to another person. Hopefully. They will fix their systems in multiple levels so this does not happen to anyone else. Unforgettable Filipino kakanin -- worth the wait!…read more We recently placed a pre-order from Anna's Kitchen in Rancho Cucamonga, and I just have to say -- WOW. Every bite was worth it. The cassava with macapuno was the true standout. It's the kind of kakanin that stays with you -- the flavor lingers long after you've finished your slice. It has thick layers of macapuno, and the topping reminded me of yema -- sweet, creamy, and just addictive. It's easily one of the best cassava cakes I've ever had. Her leche flan was just as impressive. So smooth, silky, and melt-in-your-mouth good. As someone who also cooks, I can tell this was made with so much care -- probably strained multiple times to get that perfect texture. It's the kind of leche flan that doesn't even need a special occasion to enjoy -- it is the occasion. Anna's Kitchen is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic, thoughtfully made Filipino desserts. Just be prepared to pre-order -- they're made fresh, and absolutely worth the wait.
