    Banana Pudding Matcha

BEST MATCHA IN EASTVALE! MUST TRY THE BANANA MATCHA I have been travelling to Upland / Chino / Riverside for matcha but stumble upon this place when I was using the postal service next door. Both times I have been the staff are super lovely and attentive. I now can't stop going back for their banana matcha, it is to DIE FOR. So much better tasting than Starbucks or any of the chains in the area and get so much better value for money it is insane. Today I had my dog with me and as it was hot asked for some whipped cream and they kindly gave it to us. Now we will be back with the pup again!

Home away from home every time I come into the store, I always get greeted with a friendly smile! Also, just knowing I can get my favorite drinks/ food is special. Where my Filipino fam at!? When I get a sudden craving of Calamansi juice, this is my go to spot. This is a beautifully decorated little Café that sells coffee, baked goods, cakes, and also some food. My top drink is the Calamansi Ginger iced drink! Delicious! Parking is never an issue - come by and try their drinks!

If you need a cake, look no further. My cake request was unique bc I wanted a blueberry filling which is not listed as one of their options. It was for a baby shower I was hosting. Carla was so helpful and patient. She walked me thru the possibilities and when I sent her a picture of the cake, she was surprised that it was a cake they recently made (I found it on Pinterest not their website). Serendipitous for sure. I honestly didn't have high expectation bc I had never ordered from this bakery before. But I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was moist and the buttercream vanilla flavor complimented the blueberry filling perfectly; delicious! It was exactly what I wanted and my guests agreed. I will be coming back for my next event. Thank you!

Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream. Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn't bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb. Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either? It was just meh. I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar. I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch. Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn't quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.

This is the first time we've been to this establishment, but definitely not the last. The customer service is excellent. The coffee and pastries are great. The interior is decorated nicely with a few tables to sit down and enjoy your coffee and pastry. We'll be definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

This place is a very nice Filipino-American style bakery with pastries, cookies, and very nice drinks selection. I got the cherry blossom matcha and it was amazing! I love the energy this place had with its good vibes and music. The service here was great. K was super seeet and kind. She was kind and welcoming. You can tell this place is full of love and warmth. Can I just say I got the smore crinkle cookie and it left me wanting more!

Wow!!! I purchased their Ube Drink & Crinkle Cookies and I am beyond amazed at how fluffy/soft the cookies are (at least the fruity pebbles one, since I haven't tried the ube one yet). But man.... It's incredible! It's like a dream every-time I bite into it. Also, side note: I am quite a picky dessert person and when I experience a dessert that blows my mind ... which is incredibly hard to do, so I love to give praise when that happens. Shout out to Kape Republik with this cookie. I hope the recipe doesn't change. Today is March 11th, 2026 to note the date of the best batch made. Amazing job!

I'm a trucker and I've ordered from them through DoorDash twice in two weeks. I love ube and they offer a lot of ube flavored delights. My favorites are Ube Flan cupcakes and the ube brownie because they are not too sweet just perfect balance. The ube cheesecake is kinda good too the "crust" is a nice surprise and contrast to the soft ube part. Don't care for the tres leches- it just doesn't taste ube enough for me. Also ube shake isn't consistent with the ube flavor, this time on my second order it's less ube/ nutty flavor than before but still good, Anyway, can't wait to be back in town and order from them again. :)

No crinkle photo because i couldnt wait to devour

Lahat masarap! The cookie butter ones are my favorite but i could eat everything. Tita on the cashier was also super warm and welcoming. Wish we lived closer, or better yet hope they open one in the bay area!

Filipino/American Cafe. It's a cute cafe. It's a small one so not very many tables. It looks like they focus on desserts and fusion pastries. My favorite Ube & Buko pandan crinkle cookies and Buko Pandan cupcakes. They were sweet just how I like them. The price, not too bad. Pretty good I think considering the area. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered to go and we were out of there within minutes. If you like Filipino desserts I'd say this is one to check out.

Crinkle cookie craving satisfied. Not sure about the other stuff but I'm willing to make the 30mile drive to go back.

Just had a full blown Ube party at Kape Republik. I left no purple treat behind! I went full ube unhinged and taste-tested a tasty lineup: ube cheesecake (smooth like sweet-talking lies), ube cookie (chewy happiness), ube danish (pastry perfection), ube brownie (my new fave), and an ube shake to wash it all down bc ube hydration is necessary!!! The brownie was soft, chewy, and practically comforted me w every bite. By the time my order was ready, the place was packed. Looks like word about this violet vortex of deliciousness is out!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Kape Republic is one of those Filipino fusion coffee shops that should be highlighted more. Everything is good, place is clean, and the owners are super friendly and nice. Service is beyond A+. My highlights on what to order: Cold brew ube foam: Don't skip this one if you're a coffee drinker and you like your coffee strong BUT still have that nice ube flavor. The combo is heaven. A+ Ube cheesecake bites: they use real ube. And you taste the ube. It's a burst of goodness and it's not so sweet at all. A+ Ube brownies: get out with that yummy goodness. You know what, just try it. A+ You know what, those are my highlights. I'll come back to this with the halo halo review after I try it this afternoon.

The waffle itself was warm, fluffy on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside, which made such a perfect contrast with the cold ice cream. The soft serve was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, and the Oreo crumble added the perfect crunch and chocolatey balance without overpowering everything. The portion size was generous, definitely shareable, but also very doable if you're in the mood to treat yourself. Overall, this is a great spot for a sweet treat, whether you're on a dessert date, hanging out with friends, or just craving something indulgent. I'd definitely come back. It was known for cheap, quality drinks back then, and I find myself still looking for that nostalgic quality. Yet, when I go now, I think I find more disappointment and I should learn to let it go. I've been here twice and both times was after a meal at La Bufadora next door. Parking is difficult in the front of the facility, unless you intend to be here for less than 20 minutes; there is a designated 20 minute parking area. When ordering here, I don't usually order at the register since the baristas are always busy. They don't acknowledge when guests come in, so I use the kiosk to the left to make my purchase. My phone number doesn't work for the rewards and I could never figure out how to sign up. I ordered my usual milk tea with boba. This time, I put less ice since it was chilly outside and I even had on a cardigan. When my drink came, I was fairly disappointed. With less ice, came less to drink. My drink wasn't filled up... I guess I understand, but at the same time, it was a bit of a rip off especially if I'm paying $6.50 for it. The milk tea was not sweet although it was 100% sweet and the boba was inconsistently different sizes. With a second visit and the same lack of taste, I don't think I'll be back. I'm paying the same price as another boba shop that would give me more toppings and fill up my cup. I'd rather drive towards Eastvale for boba instead.

The good: The churro flavors are unique and coated in delicious sweet sauces of your choice. I tried the Nutella almond coating and they were pretty generous with the flavoring, I left very satisfied with the churro itself. It was made fresh to order. The ambiance is pretty cute, they put in effort to make the area feel safe, especially since sometimes the place they post out is in a dark alley behind a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. The service is good and friendly, I read many reviews saying otherwise so perhaps this isn't true all the time, but it was the one time we went. The eh: The wait time complaints did ring true to me, we got there at 9 pm and there was no line in front of us, it still took them about 15 minutes to get us our mini churro and ice cream. However, it's a food truck, this kind of wait time is expected and I did get a fresh and hot churro so it wasn't for nothing. If you want something fast, you probably shouldn't go to a food truck. The prices also leave something to be desired, $10 for a small ice cream and a 5 inch churro is pretty high. Again, however, I allow that because it's a food truck prices will be higher. I can't find any place near this area that does better churros, so I'm willing to pay the extra once in a while for a better experience. My girlfriend loved that it's a "speakeasy", meaning you have to join their exclusive instagram club to get "drops" on where they'll be that night. I see many complaints about them not being at a location and suspect this is why. I personally don't like this (I'm lazy), but since my girlfriend does, I call it a wash. The bad: The ice cream isn't worth it. If I ever come back here, I'd rather bring my own ice cream, even if I look like a crazy man clutching my tub of breyers sitting around on a street. Their ice cream is either vanilla or cookies and cream, and it's a piddly amount with no toppings. Just skip it, there are plenty of great ice cream places, you're here for the churro. It'll save you a few dollars probably. The area (at least when we visited) leaves a lot to be desired as I hinted at earlier. It was in a parking lot in a dead business center with fences, the entrance to the parking lot was a narrow alley 2 minutes away from the truck itself. The only reason I was able and willing to find that entrance was because the truck (probably knowing it's hard to find) was posted very visibly against a fence with welcoming fairy lights, so I took a little extra time looking for the entrance. I hope they can find a better location to post up at. In the end, I may come back only because they do make good churros, but I think it's more because they lack good competition than anything else. Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough for an alternative.
