Came here to try the Ube POGI (Ube Matcha). A nice cozy place to enjoy coffee and other specialty drinks. Also a great place to study and hang out. Ordered the Ube Matcha. It was sweet and flavorful. The Ube blended perfectly with the Matcha. So good. Ordering was simple. Got my drink fairly quick. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and welcoming.

I recently attended a Yelp event here and enjoyed the experience so I decided to stop in for a warm drink before my doctor appt around the corner. I love the vibe here, so cozy with nice background music playing, comfortable furniture, lots of seating if you want to study, and big windows bringing in lots of natural light. I saw that they have a calendar of events for the month which has some fun looking events. Their menu also looked really good with some interesting specialty drinks. Unfortunately their drink menus don't list prices of their specialty drinks and I didn't ask as I didn't think it would be too pricey. I ordered the hot Pogi (ube Matcha) with almond milk (only comes in small - 12oz) and a strawberry Nutella pastry. The pastry was delicious, the Pogi was ok. When I saw my receipt after the fact, my small Pogi costed $8.50. Yikes. I know they use high quality matcha, but still ... wow. I don't think it's worth it.

Originally first came here for a Yelp event and then came back as an "official" customer. This is like the Trader Joe's of coffee houses. Admittedly, I was a little annoyed when the barista chatted it up with the customer in front of me, but mostly because I was running late (I know, I'm horrible). Then, like the hypocrite that I am, I spent even more time talking to him and letting him know how great the Yelp Event was and that I wanted to get the same drink they served at the event. The conversation was lovely and the drink was just as lovely. I'll never complain about waiting because 1) sometimes that conversation is needed and can make a huge difference--we never know what someone is going through, 2) we all need to slow down a little anyway, and 3) this is part of what sets Lucky's apart. Anyway, this place is just the best.

Great service. Staff is always so lively... sorta reminds me of Borders, Books and Cafe (pour a lil liqqa out) Ample space to study, read a book or just contemplate the days of analog life. I haven't tasted their baked items here but I have had a London Fog here and it was on point. Also features outdoor seating on the patio, which is great for a sunny day. This location has a lot of community events I recommend you also follow them over on their IG page as well. Respectfully Reviewed.

Tried the Mint Ube Latte today and it was such a sweet, refreshing balance! The creamy ube sweetness blended perfectly with the cool hint of mint. I'd definitely get it again! Also pictured: the chai tea latte and croissant my friend got.

Lucky's Coffee Roasters is a great spot for studying or working, lots of couches and table space. The baristas working were super helpful and efficient. I tried a strawberry matcha and beef empanada. Both were pretty good! Matcha was a little sweet for me, I would probably change the sweetness level next time!

Seeking a tattoo shop for H for her 18th bday gift, we found Jane's down the street from Lucky's. So, we were doubly lucky to see a second Lucky's location here in Claremont. Of course we just had to stop in. Next to a Kiddie's daycare we walked into a clean and cool new Lucky's location and were greeted by a friendly girl at the counter who genuinely asked what we were up to for the day. I ordered a latte for here and H ordered a cinnamon and honey latte at the suggestion of the girl helping us - she said something healthier and not so sweet but still sweet... haha. As we found a table adjacent to the main area, we noticed it was next to a large window where you can watch the roasting magic going on. I then promptly proceeded to pick up a bag of the Lucky Blend, seeing it was a 3x Golden Bean winner. My latte was absolutely perfect - the first sip of creamy and dense foam, steamed to perfection at just the right temp. The espresso was smooth, bold, and slightly buttery. Mmmm. So goood. H said, with a smile and a smirk, hers was kinda like a Spanish Latte but less sweet, just like she hoped for. Will definitely be back. Love that the side room is fairly quiet, cool, and spacious. Plus, it just feels cool to watch the coffee roasting process unfold.

Came for a coffee adventure to Claremont to try Lucky's Ande's Mint Latte. I'm sad I didn't come sooner to try this Christmas Latte Perfect mint to coffee ratio doesn't overpower the espresso. 10/10. Service was friendly and quick on a Sunday afternoon. Drove down the infamous Route 66 enjoying my coffee and beautiful sunny day.

I have went to Lucky's before but my most recent visit was in venture of trying their ube renditions. Overall Lucky's, you won my taste buds. I am personally a coffee lover so I prefer the ube coffee to the matcha. Although, both are very nice combinations. The matcha is a bit on the sweeter side so if you don't like a more bitter flavor, then definitely try that out. What I like about their ube drinks is it doesn't taste like taro. It tastes like the ube yam like the one in ube bread from Valerios. If you come here to study, for me personally the vibes at the upland location are better for study. However the ones at the Claremont location are more like if you're doing a group project. Both places you can get a decent amount of work at if you really lock in. service good nice people :) mini shout out to the barista who works the morning shift on Saturdays you can singggg

Freshly ground and brewed coffee always hits the spot. The menu had some interesting options, but I went with a vanilla latte. Service was a bit on the slower side, but the vibe made up for it it's the perfect spot to work, study, or just hang out while enjoying your favorite drink.

Usually I go straight to the food reviews before ambience, atmosphere, staff and such etc., but my focus has reversed a bit starting with the atmosphere. The minute my family strolls in, we had this young lady totally stare down my family. I have not ever felt our presence would strike such an unwelcoming or unwanted tone from an establishment. The gentleman at the front counter was pleasant and made some conversation so my mood was put to ease slightly, but he was next to the mean girl and it was hard focusing on the order placement. Excuse the rant but that almost ruined my morning. We sat to try our lattes and it was astonishing to see smiles given to other patrons from a woman who nearly frowned the whole time we were there? This young lady was so rude to me and my children. I can only speculate and I'll keep what I feel off the grid for now. On to the positive stuff (2 stars) the lattes were very tasty. Unique flavor options, a few different types of food items to accompany the latte or teas. Our selection: ham and cheese croissant (mid), Courageous latte-Old Forester Bourbon, Brown Sugar, Organic Cream, Pink Salt- very good HOT. It's nice and clean inside. Iron & Kin, please remember, every paying customer should be welcomed into your establishment no matter what they look like. I mean, why did you start this business anyways? Wasn't it built on a dream for success, entrepreneurship, to serve the community?
