Stopped by Nambah Coffee in La Verne and tried their Snickerdoodle Latte, and it was really good! I loved that I could actually taste the coffee and that it wasn't overpowered by sweetness. The inside of the shop is super cute and cozy, with seating available both indoors and outdoors. Customer service was excellent! Everyone was friendly, and our drinks came out really fast, which is always a plus. Overall, a great little coffee spot! I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their lattes!
The strawberry matcha was not too sweet. Very balanced taste of matcha, strawberry and milk. Expect a long line but totally worth it.
I had a good experience at Nambah Coffee (La Verne). I ordered the Brown Coconut Specialty Latte ($8.25 - 16oz - Iced). It's two shots of espresso, coconut cold foam, coconut, browns sugar, and milk. The caffeine is enduring, but it's a little too milky. Fortunately, I eventually felt the caffeine after one hour. (Quick Note: The regular and large have the same amount of shots. This location is also very dog friendly. I observed leashed dogs relaxing inside this coffee shop.) I arrived at Nambah Coffee (La Verne) on Monday (around 7:58AM). Parking is convenient. The street signs say, "90 Minute Parking - 8AM to 9PM - Monday thru Saturday." Staff is EXEMPLARY. Staff's friendliness, eagerness to help, and bright smiles are a high point. I repeatedly observed Staff happily chatting with regulars. Staff (receipt says Tyrone) also happily answered all my questions while maintaining an almost Disneyland-like demeanor. Tyrone cheerfully brought my coffee to my table. And there were instances where Tyrone would happily pet and welcome the customers' dogs. My drink took about two minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Brown Coconut Specialty Latte ($8.25 - 16oz - Iced). Personally, I disliked how it lacked a prominent coffee flavor; rather, it tasted somewhat watery & milky with hints of coconut. However, this coffee carries a hidden, resilient strength. To my utter shock, I felt energy arrive an hour after sipping. In addition, I also appreciate how the ice has holes which allows more liquid inside. Unfortunately, it felt like the ice was still CRAMMED inside that brew. There was so much ice! Regarding ambiance, Nambah Coffee (La Verne) is beautiful. The location has wonderful acoustics and music. It's also decorated lovingly. The business uses its space well. The well decorated spot resembles those "nice" coffee shops that we'd see on family friendly sitcoms. I literally heard several college students walk into this spot whispering how, "-this is such a hidden gem." Concerning utility, I liked that there's 10 interior tables. However, I only counted about two electrical outlets. There's customer internet with password, but the information is only accessible by asking Staff for the details. In addition, the location shows bathroom codes for customers; the male and female restrooms are located down the hall. I especially appreciated the location's cleanliness and good ventilation. Overall, Nambah Coffee (La Verne) is a charming coffee shop. The coffee is not spectacular, but there's integrity in the base ingredients. If you're already nearby, I would casually recommend. 4.6 out of 5
Looking for a coffee shop because I just dropped off my son at school and really needed caffeine. I saw this place had good reviews, so I decided to try it. I got large snickerdoodle iced coffee and they told me that the only difference with a large drink is more ice and more milk. If I want an extra shot, I have to pay extra. So basically I'm paying extra for ice and milk, and if I want the extra espresso shot, I still have to pay more. What's the point of getting a large? Very disappointing. It taste regular iced coffee but more milky nothing special about it. Also, got brown coconut it's actually really good at first didn't thought coconut and coffee will go together but the cold foam coconut it's actually really good. The ambiance is super nice and there are a lot of tables to sit at. It's a great place to grab coffee and chit-chat friends. I'd come back just for the vibe and to hang out, but not for the drinks.
I used to frequent this coffee shop while attending the university across the street several years ago. Conveniently located, it offers a great study space and, of course the necessary fuel to survive. It has since changed names and possibly owners, but it's still just as great as I remember. Tasty coffee and a fun vibe. I recently stopped by and was reminded how much I love the shop's décor, especially the exposed brick wall. The place has a lot of character, and the staff member who took my order was super chill. They also have a cute patio overlooking the university, and I love that they serve beer and wine too. Another thing that makes them stand out is the variety of events they host, like karaoke nights and yoga classes.
I love coming here and getting the Snickerdoodle Iced Latte, bonus points if I order it with oat milk lol. It's such a cozy little coffee shop tucked within downtown La Verne, and definitely worth stopping by!! And if I'm not getting the Snickerdoodle, my other go-to is the Heartthrob Iced Latte, which is another super solid choice If you want to avoid lines and the crowds that tend to fill up the shop, I'd recommend coming in earlier in the day. Sometimes the line gets pretty long and the wait can be a bit much. It can also get tricky finding a seat inside when it's busy, though you might have better luck outside if you don't mind sitting outdoors lol Overall, I really appreciate how nice the staff usually is :)
*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Brown Coconut (Seasonal): 6.8/10 You can definitely taste the coconut. On the milkier side, but you can still taste the espresso. It wasn't artificially over sweet which was great. My only qualm is the frickin price for the size. $8.25 for a 12oz?? Like bruh. I get it. It's across a campus in a nice area, but wtf. Drink was good, but no way in hell is it worth $8.25. Y'all can fight me on that idgaF. Service: 9/10 Everyone seems really friendly! The cashier was very nice and helped out with any drink corrections customers had. Ambiance: 6.5/10 So so crowded and mucho mucho cramped. Not the best study spot. I was lucky to nab a table next to an outlet, but not all are lucky. The tables inside are super super close to each other. Not my favorite. There are tables in the hallway, but no outlets. Street parking was easy to find because it was a Sunday, but as it got later in the day, parking started to fill up. TDLR: Expensive drinks. Okay study space. Tables are super close to each other and not many outlets. Place definitely gets super busy. Street parking only.
I tried Nambah Coffee for the first time and I honestly love the vibe here. It's such a cute spot to hang out. You can tell they really put thought into the decor. Their coffee is so good! We loved everything we tried. Definitely one of those places you keep thinking about and want to come back to. They also host monthly events, which makes it feel more like a community spot than just a coffee shop. I plan to come for their Pilates & matcha!! Nambah Coffee has such friendly staff and a really cute space that works well for both socializing and getting some work done. I thought it was interesting (and kind of fun!) that they double as a cafe with wine and beer!! There's seating both inside and outside! They have overflow seating in the lobby, which is nice & seems like it doubles into a Darty (day party) space on select Saturdays! As a study spot, only the indoor section had outlets, which made working a little tricky (unless you found a table inside) & the music inside was also a bit loud for my taste, but sitting in the lobby was perfect and much more comfortable! On the plus side, the WiFi was fast and stable, which is always appreciated. We ordered the brown sugar coconut matcha and the pandan matcha, and both were great! The coffee cake tasted good but was a little dry for my liking. While there isn't a dedicated parking lot, there's 90-minute and 3-hour street parking nearby, which was manageable. Overall, a nice spot with good drinks and a fun vibe!
Cute coffee spot, plenty of seating inside as well as an outdoor patio with 2 large counter height tables/stools and perimeter seating. On a Sunday there's plenty of street parking or park in a paid lot across the street. Accessible parking in front too. There's usually a long line to the door but moves quickly. Service is quick and friendly. Some pastries for sale as well. The coffee and matcha are great. There are basics as well as flavored specialties, all delicious. I've been here to work as well as to catch up with friends and it's a great atmosphere for both. Bathrooms are outside of the shop but not outdoors. There's a code located inside. Love this spot!
I really love their pandan Matcha because you can taste their pandan, so good. I asked for less sweet because the barista told me that the drink itself is pretty sweet and I'm glad I adjusted my sweetness. they were pretty crowded for Sunday late afternoon, but I managed to find seats. Locate at near University of Laverne this is a good study spot and chill weekdays and weekends.
This place is super cute and has such a calm atmosphere! My friend took me here to try it out and I got hooked on their Pandan Matcha. It was sweet, but not overly sweet, just the way I like it. The matcha itself was very silky and smooth, not clumpy or coarse. The staff were lovely! Loved the vibes the workers gave off and helped me at the register when I had questions about sweetness levels! I will definitely be coming back! Maybe to try new items :P :-))

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with indoor and outdoor seating. It's pretty quiet, so it's a great spot to get a study session in. We visited on a late Saturday afternoon, and it was busy. Almost every table was filled, and there was a consistent line. Service: There were only two workers. The cashier that rung us up was nice and efficient. Throughput took a little over 5 min, which is pretty quick considering how busy it was. Drinks & pastries: 1) Snickerdoodle Latte - This contained brown sugar, vanilla, real butter, cinnamon, espresso, and milk. It sounds overwhelmingly sweet, but honestly the only thing I really tasted was cinnamon. Overall, I thought this drink was enjoyable especially for those who prefer their lattes on the sweeter end. 2) Heartthrob - This contained vanilla, white chocolate, cinnamon, espresso, and milk. The flavors mixed really well together. Nothing really overpowered each other. Again, this drink is enjoyable for those who like sweeter lattes. 3) Mango Matcha - This contained mango nectar, vanilla, cream, and ceremonial matcha. I thought the matcha part was okay. You can't really taste the matcha after mixing it. The mango was definitely overpowering. 4) Chocolate chip scone - This tasted as good as it looks. It's not too sweet, but it does get overwhelming. I recommend eating some and saving the rest for later. 5) Chocolate chip cookie - I looove cookies! Couldn't resist trying this too. The edges and middle sections were soft. There's a generous amount of chocolate chips, but it's not overly sweet! Pricing: Average prices for a coffee shop nowadays. We enjoyed their drinks and pastries. I'd love to come back and try their offerings and hopefully sit and enjoy the ambiance, if it isn't too busy.
Nice local coffee shop near ULV. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was busy with students and staff from ULV. I ordered the regular latte, which was really good, and the seasonal pumpkin loaf, which was also very yummy. Street parking is available. read more

Don't judge a matcha by its yelp reviews!!! Looking for a cafe in La Verne as i was in the area for the first time and saw this on tiktok. But when looked it up, all the photos made the matcha look more milky or specialty flavor forward, when what i like is just a standard strong latte. Took a chance and ended up getting an amazing drink, super creamy and delicious! Basically to the level of a lot of the trending cafes in other parts of socal, wish i heard more about nambah online. Coffee was great too Service and ambiance is great!!! and also amazing to see a thriving Indonesian owned business. Will be back if I'm ever in the area read more
What a relaxing Coffee Shop! It is Nambah Coffee. Street parking was easy. The shop has comfortable indoor and patio seating. The decor is modern with warm lighting. The staff were very nice and friendly We ordered: -Ube Matcha 5/5 -Pandan matcha with oat milk 5/5 - Pandan matcha with regular milk 5/5 The drinks were refreshing, creamy and had well balanced flavor. We also ordered; - Blueberry scone - Chocolate Scone The scones were rich, buttery, and crumbly. One of the best scones I have tried recently. The service was excellent and very fast. It is such an awesome Coffee shop to stop by and enjoy the cozy vibes and the refreshing drinks or the delicious scones. read more

Very very cute spot. Beautiful lighting and outdoor area is relatively spacious. Staff and Service is extremely inviting and friendly. The Matcha is a bit too light for my own liking but for the ambience this place is definitely worth the price. A very quaint spot to meet up your friends or just work! They have events on Saturdays too so it makes it even more fun since the whole area has many nice eateries. read more

Nambah is an Indonesian word that means to add, to gain, to give. That said let's begin this review. Nambah Coffee is a cute and charming lil coffee shop located in heart of Old Town La Verne. Its interior atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing with great chillhop music; popular hangout spot of college students at Univ of La Verne and a perfect place to chill catch up with friends or fellow coffee lover on a hot day. Indoor and outdoor seats were very comfortable. Interior design and layout were well planned; the large exposed brick wall adds depth to the coffee shop's personality. Nambah has a modest coffee menu and pastry items. Moreover, they sell merch and coffee bags as well. I ordered a Nitro Cold Brew. It was smooth and prefect thirst quencher on a very hot afternoon. Service was spot on. Staff were very assiduous, warm and competent. Prices were fair and competitive. Plenty of street parking. Overall, it's a really cool coffee shop. And I had a lovely experience and enjoyed my cold drink. read more

A beautiful coffee shop in La Verne with some patio seating and some indoor seating. There is parking available that is free for 2 hours. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the Matcha Calamansi and ooowhee did that get me alert! On a hot day, I was thirsty and drank it fast so the next hour, I felt some jitters. Warned myself of my caffeine tolerance is lower than before. The drink itself was really delicious and refreshing! I would definitely order again, just sip slower. I did try to get an hours worth of work there and I will say the internet is very spotty. I spent majority of the time getting laggy videos to load or getting signed on and off so I would recommend anything that needs a strong wifi. All tables were filled when I was there so could be a # of users problem, but something to be aware of! Will definitely be returning for a drink when I'm in the area! read more

Adorable Spot with Great Vibes! After searching for a matcha drink in Pomona post-Pilates, I stumbled across this cute coffee spot and decided to check it out. First impression: absolutely adorable! The décor inside and out has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, totally my kind of place. I ordered the strawberry matcha, and it was beautifully made. A little on the sweet side for my personal taste, but still enjoyable. I'm definitely excited to come back and try their coffee next time! Service also friendly. Namba Cafe never disappoints! I came here with my friend to enjoy a nice early breakfast. I ordered the lavender latte for the second time and it's absolutely amazing, easily one of my favorites. This time, I also tried their almond croissant, which was warm, rich, and surprisingly fluffy. A perfect pairing with my latte. My friend ordered an avocado toast and that's definitely on my list for next time. The service is always great and the staff is consistently kind and welcoming. We stumbled upon this cute cafe randomly since we were looking for a place that was open on New Year Day. Props to them on opening on a holiday and it was nice to see everyone waiting so patiently since there was only two workers! I ordered a hot honey lavender espresso and it was delicious! It was super packed when my friend & I visited. I parked in the parking lot across the street and paid for 2 hours through the link provided on the sign. So many good drink choices to pick from! I got an Iced Heart Throb (White Chocolate, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Espresso & Oat milk). It was really sweet, but loved the cinnamon flavor in it. It reminded me of a s'mores drink for some reason. The tables in front of the brick wall, were all occupied by students with their laptops. We sat in the cool lounge chairs in front of them. I hope to visit again if I'm ever in the area! read more
My son and I came in based on his previous experience. Delilah greeted us and more importantly, remembered my son and the fact that he had an allergy. It was so impressive to see that she remembered this, and she made recommendations for us. I had a nice latte and my son had an Ice vanilla latte. I also splurged on a Chia parfait that was perfect. Nambah Coffee Co is a cafe in downtown La Verne near University of La Verne's campus. There's free street parking or nearby free slanted parking spots. There's both indoor and outdoor seating at this location, which is good for working or catching up with a friend over a latte. The ambiance is aesthetic and there's plenty of places to take Instagram pictures. There was a really long line during the middle of the day, but the line moved relatively fast and the drinks came out quickly. The menu has a good variety of matcha and coffee drinks as well as pastries. Their signature matcha latte was okay - the matcha itself was a little watery, but the strawberry syrup at the bottom complemented the drink well. Nambah (to add, to gain, to give) Nambah coffee is excellent. I came here often. The service there is always quick (unless is packed) but, it's worth the wait. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, talkative and genuinly interested in you when they ask questions, a very rare feat these days. They make you feel super welcomed. I always go for the bagel breakfast sandwhich which is your choice of plain, everything or Jalepeño Cheddar bagel and it comes with egg, cheddar cheese, and spicy mayo and you have the option to add turkey or avocado for a $1.50 more. I couple it with a regular house coffee or their Orange Blossom tea which is thee best!! Offered hot or iced, so good. Nambah is definitely a local hotspot in Old Town La Verne serving everyone from the college students to staff to alumni to community members alike. SO COME THRU! It has plenty of other options for the coffee or tea enthusiasts. It is nothing like Starbucks, which makes it that much better! read more
