I had an amazing experience at their newer location. I normally go to the MUGS in Whittier but I was in the area so I thought I should give it a try. I loved it over all! I like that this location has more of modern aesthetic to it. It's very spacious and clean. Perfect for those who want to just chill or study. I also really like that there's more parking space here than the Whittier location. I ordered the blueberry horchata latte and it was delicious! Very disappointed with the iced horchata latte. I paid an extra $1.50 for cold foam, and it was basically just milk poured on top--not the thick, creamy foam you'd expect. The drink itself barely tasted like horchata and was more reminiscent of plain oat milk. To make matters worse, the lid isn't designed to drink the foam directly, so you need a straw to even experience the cold foam. That might make sense if the foam was actually good, but in this case it wasn't worth the extra charge. Overall, the flavor, presentation, and upcharge all missed the mark. read more

The service was great and the workers were nice, professional, and had a positive attitude. I ordered the Iced Vanilla Cream Latte and in about 5 mins, my drink was ready. The latte looked very appealing and tasted great. It wasn't too sweet and you can taste the boldness of the coffee beans as well. The drink was smooth and creamy. It's definitely a solid drink to get your day started or if you just feel like a coffee. Overall, I enjoyed my time and it's definitely a good location to study or do some work as you sip on a drink. A creamy banana horchata flavor, not that sweet and perfect with an extra shot of espresso added with cinnamon powder sprinkled on top. I think they don't have any homemade pastries, but they offer muffins, cookies, brownies, and cake pops to name a few. We arrived at Mugs at 5:45 pm today Saturday. Closing time is 6pm. We arrive and watch an employee flip the sign to closed. My husband gets off and the girl inside says they are already closed. Coffee was served quicker than we could sit down. Asked for their most popular drinks and they have a section ready to go on their menu. Nice touch. The Iced Dulce de Leche was nice. So nice that my wife drank almost all of it. From what I experienced it was flavorful but not too sweet which is nice. I do want to try more off their menu. The menu is loaded with a lot of Spanish influenced flavors so I went with their classic ones. First up was the Cold Brew Cafe De Olla which had a nice cinnamon taste after each sip so that was good. Next up was the Champurrado latte which had a very subtle hint of corn mixed with chocolate. The drink is pretty sweet for my tastebuds but for those of you who enjoy that type of drink then it's a go. I'm not sure what roast they use but the coffee does have a decent kick. The space is small but still enough room for ten people comfortably at best. The service was good and friendly so I'll definitely be checking out more of the menu in the future. Tried this place on Mother's Day. It's in the same shopping center as Costco right next to the Kristy kreme, place is super clean! I will admit that and the cashier was nice. I had ordered a cold brew with vanilla foam and she asked if I wanted milk in it since it didn't come with any. Having a cashier clarify what comes in the drink to a first timer is always helpful and appreciative! So thank you for that! Overall the coffee was ok. Just the name MUGS had me thinking they were associated with one of my favorite (The Mugs in Diamond Bar), but they're not... nonetheless, they were still great! I came for a modest request to have a dirty matcha, explaining that it was a matcha latte with espresso - no syrup or sugar, though, since I"m not a fan! Although the staff understood and incorrectly prepared it sweet, they were quick to make a new one, and I appreciated that they let me keep the other one as well. I had come also to get some work done, but to my dismay they do not have Wi-Fi. Now, most cafe have Wi-Fi, so if you are looking for a place with Wi-Fi, consider elsewhere unless you have a mobile hotspot or don't need it. What's the best part about MUGS? Their space is as tall as their large cups - HIGH. The spacious interior really helps sound, not that there is much to begin with other than their music. There are a few tables inside and even a cute mirror and decor, giving off a darker, rustic feel. The greens are intentional, and the space like the staff are inviting. Returning? The drink is not watered down, but I did not feel awake after downing the drink. It's a very forgettable, pricy coffee. MUGS Coffee Roasters is located near the Costco (San Dimas). It sits beside the Krispy Kreme. I arrived on a weekday (around 10:00AM). Surprisingly, five more customers arrived about 15 minutes later. Firstly, MUGS Coffee Roasters' Popular Menu is misleading. Those prices only reflect hot drinks. All iced medium (+50 cents) and iced large (+$1) will have a price increase. I will attach a zoomed up photo of these extra costs. Secondly, MUGS Coffee Roasters' is short-staffed. Thankfully, my milky beverage arrived in three minutes and 28 seconds. However, I noticed the customers behind me wait for over eight minutes and longer. Staff consists of one friendly lady. Concerning ambiance, MUGS Coffee Roasters (San Dimas) is clean, well-ventilated, and cozy. It's a bit cramped with its few furniture and tables; however, it looks newly furbished. The music also played gentle, rhythmic music. The vibe felt very "college student classy." Most interestingly is the "promise" on each receipt (photo attached). The "Coffee with a Cause" claim says any unsatisfying drink can be replaced or refunded. That's a brave proposal, and I applaud them. Unfortunately, I had to leave soon, and the one staff member seemed burdened with the piling orders, so I chose to leave instead. Overall, MUGS Coffee Roasters (San Dimas) is a forgettable, pricey experience. Perhaps I'd find more happiness with another drink, but the Iced Vanilla Cream Latte tasted like a free sample from Costco. I just visited MUGS Coffee Roasters in San Dimas, looking for a new spot to work for a few hours and my review is mixed... It's located in the Costco parking lot, next to Krispy Kreme. That's a convenient spot. The black and wood design gave it a modern and comfortable vibe, but I quickly noticed there were no outlets at the tables, which isn't great for working. And, it's rather small inside. Given the name, I expected something like Penny Roasters or early Klatch, where they roast their own beans on premise - was kind of hoping for that as I love the smell of freshly roasted coffee. Since I'm fasting, I went for a black coffee instead of my usual latte. I pulled up my laptop while waiting and a minute later my coffee was ready. The coffee was much much lighter than expected, almost tea-like, which was disappointing. It didn't meet my expectations for a place with 'Roasters' in the name. They didn't ask if I wanted light, medium, or dark... they just served me a coffee. Normally, I also visit the bathroom in coffee shops and restaurants as it's a clue to how they maintain the rest of thier business, but I forgot to stop in - will do next time. It all looks new so I'd expect it's clean. I tried working for a bit but a large group walked in which filled the small space and it was just awkward feeling, so I left. I almost felt like giving it a three, but I plan to come back for a latte. For now, I'll give them a four and update my rating after my next visit. read more

Currently they are open only until 2pm, but hopefully that changes as they get more staffing. + always good service + good sized menu + mmm the horchata latte is fantastic, they even have a keto version as well + parking is a breeze. I enjoy coffee...all times of the day, and from different places. I've been trying places all around and MUGS has been on my list. I'd say their drinks lean sweet but they do have a keto menu which was a nice touch. I opted for the keto horchata latte. It was a nice balance and I liked I could still choose a milk option. My wife got a Neapolitan latte. It was surprisingly good. The strawberry flavor came through nicely. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had.
