Stopped by here yesterday about 1 p.m. because I'd heard good things and was in the area. Got the last parking spot behind the building which was fortuitous. Inside was refreshingly cool and mellow, not loud. Two groups of 4 people were enjoying their fare while having lively conversation. Movie poster decor on the walls and film themed menus add to the charm of this shared space: coffee shop and community work space (a separate room with tabletop computers and desks). I noticed the line was continuously about 6-8 people long, and the staff were not fazed at all, consistently friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation. They said the blue velvet was popular, and since I love matcha lattes, I decided to try it. Five minutes later and a beautifully layered subtly sweet drink was in my hand and I was comfortably seated in the corner on an upholstered low chair. A very hospitable, delicious experience! First off, I love the concept. The movie title menu is super cute, and the coffee combinations are interesting. The ambiance was very office like and spacious. It was a clean place, very busy on a Saturday morning. The service was very friendly. I loved the strawberry croissant. It was so fresh and flaky. The Dead poet latte was pretty good. I love the fact that every time I come to Kamden the consistency of my drink is always the same. My go to is the matcha but I've tried their coffee based drinks as well and they're really good too. Staff is always so welcoming and the cool part is that you'll even see the owner making drinks. Love the way the inside furniture/layout is. Kamden Coffee is located inside Union Cowork. It is replacing Tro Coffee Shop. There is an adjacent parking lot behind the shop, in addition to street parking. The shop has youthful vibes. There are indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu included different varieties of Matcha drinks, espresso latte, amricano, cortado, cappuccino, spritz, specialty, and more. The young staff ladies were very nice. I ordered the following drinks; - Strawberry Fields Matcha 5/5 It was creamy, rich in flavor and had a well balance between matcha and strawberry. -Killer Klown Banana Matcha 5/5 It was such a refreshing drink. It had the rich flavor of banana balanced with the matcha earthy taste. -Bella's Lullaby 5/5 Creamy and rich Latte with brown sugar syrup, condensed milk & vanilla cold foam. Kamden Coffee is GOOD! They are located inside the Union Cowork building. I came by during the peak of lunch hours so it was really busy. The parking can be very cramped and challenging. I was lucky to find a spot. You can also find parking on the busy street but it's limited. There were many patrons studying and/or working. All of the tables were pretty much occupied inside. This is spacious location, but it's a popular spot. After a quick browse of the menu. I decided on the Strawberry Fields Matcha. Huge plus for me is when a business doesn't charge extra for milk alternatives. I usually go with Oat milk. So thank you for that Kamden Coffee. :) All the specialty drink names are a play on movie titles. My drink was done in less than a minute. I loved the matcha. The ceremonial grade was delish. The mix with strawberry made each sip addictively good. I would love to come by again and try more of these drinks. This is a unique coffee spot that I can see continuing to be a standout location. Seems like a spacious spot to work from, and it looks like they even have a co-working space attached to the cafe! I've been seeing this spot all over TikTok and Yelp for a while, so I finally decided to stop by. I was debating between a hot or cold drink and went with the Kk-e-old-cf (on K's lingo) with oat milk cold foam--and it was an easy 5/5, yes. The music, aesthetics, and overall vibe were on point (4.7/5). I skipped the sweet treat this time, but honestly didn't feel like I was missing anything. The owner was humble, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly--super easy to talk to. Service was amazing and the front counter was helpful and informative. The ambiance was Poppin and they had great music with great thrift finds . The vibe here is awesome I would come back just for that alone. The drinks are a big step above any coffee chain yet they don't stand out as a place I would crave to go to. I appreciate their homemade syrups and simple menu but I got two coffee drinks the Sleepaway Camp & Bella's Lullaby. The flavor was too subtle for both lattes. It tasted more like a lightly sweetened latte with cold foam. The espresso was good but not my favorite. The strawberry matcha was quite good and I may return to try that and their sourdough bagel I'm happy to see another local coffee shop open up. As a local student, I was looking forward to trying this coffee shop but I left highly disappointed. First of all, be prepared to pay at a minimum $8 for a latte that has an okay taste. I wouldn't have minded so much until I sat down to get some work done on my laptop and to my surprise, the internet here didn't work. I asked the person next to me and they said the internet here never works. You should just be honest and tell your customers upfront that you don't provide WiFi here, instead of saying you do then it not working. It's obvious this model is like this so people won't be able to relax and get some work done while they enjoy their cup of coffee. I love Kamden Coffee and come here several times a week! It's my favorite place to get coffee. I usually order the Vanilla Sky, strawberry matcha or Blue Velvet matcha, and when they're good, they're really good. I'd say about 70-80% of the time my drinks are great, but unfortunately the last few times have been blah and not worth the $. I've noticed the quality depends on who makes the drink, and I just wish it were more consistent. Otherwise, this would easily be a 5 star review. The Matcha is good but not good enough to wait in a line for 15 minutes all while the girls are having side conversations and holding on to the matcha in a bottle stopping from pouring the matcha and just talking away the matcha is prepared all they are doing is pouring it in the cup but if you start adding up the time of how long its taking on one drink. Due to them stopping in the middle of every drink and having side conversations it's adding more time on one item when there can be more productivity happening. Now it's located in Glendora! His first brick and mortar! The building is cute. It has 3 designated parking spots in front. The quality hasn't changed since the previous location if not better.
