lavender bean Matcha latte
Mary M.

Was in the Azusa area and found this little gem! Such a cute spot and nice vibe! I ordered a lavender bean Matcha with oat milk and it was excellent! They use ceremonial grade Matcha. It wasn't too sweet and they used crushed ice which I love! Customer service was great! Go check it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

An awesome Independent Coffee shop with a pleasant vibe lots of big windows and friendly employees... Great coffee brand are from Stereoscope.... I had a latte and black coffee from drip.... Relaxed and hung out there for a couple of hours and had couple drinks and a vegan muffin.... The place wasn't as busy as I expected for such a nice spot but it started getting busier after about an hour.... Definitely would come by there again when I'm the area

A cozy farmhouse interior design style coffee shop at downtown Azusa. Ample seating for small groups to hangout and drink their coffee. Light upbeat music playing in the background and kid friendly area. The staff is friendly and fast with their service. I ordered the Red Velvet Latte which was smooth, rich, creamy, and not too sweet. I loved the foam art design.

I had a wonderful experience at Pressed + Flower! I came by to work on my computer, and the space is perfect for solo work or studying. Lots of tables and areas to sit. I had two drinks while I was here, the berry matcha latte and black tea lemonade. Both were great! Not overly sweet and refreshing. The barista who helped me was super kind and helpful as it was my first time visiting.

Sticky Notes Wall....

If you blink, you might miss this little hidden gem. I swear, I had never seen it before and drive up and down this street a lot. Last night, luckily, it all changed. Our Running Club met up here; after clocking in some miles and we stopped by this idyllic coffee N' Tea shop. A friendly person behind the counter. A nice little menu of coffees, teas and sweet treats. Super clean place! (It matters) Plenty of space to sit inside and along a wall full of little "things" to buy and gift. Every drink was prepared to order. A wall dedicated to positive "notes" and a corner to take nice pictures. First time and definitely not my last. Happy February everyone!

This is such a nice and cozy coffee shop! I was recommended the blue cloud Vietnamese coffee and it was so good. I can't wait to try other drinks!

Vietnamese Coffee + Delicious Quiche (good portion, can be for 2)

I found this gem, when I searched for a cafe on Yelp in the area. I ordered a hot Vietnamese Coffee, a cold one was on the menu, but the barista was so kind to make me a hot one. Perfection! The Quiche is also delicious! The ambiance is the cutest, they sell small business items and they also have games, perfect place to sit and relax to enjoy coffee + meal. I definitely will return when I am in the area again. Great customer service, food and coffee!!!

I love this place!! I try to come whenever I'm passing through Azusa if I can make it before close. The baristas are always really friendly and always have great recommendations if I want to try something new. The coffee is always so good, and I love that they have so many flavor options. Another bonus is that they always have unique seasonal drinks that you won't always find at other coffee shops. I love when places experiment with flavor combinations. Their cookies are good as well. This is one of my favorite coffee shops that isn't too far from me.

Pressed + Flower is a cute coffee shop located in Azusa. There used to be another popular local coffee shop called Mantra Coffee & BnB just one block away, but it was closed so Pressed + Flower is the new local coffee shop in Azusa. [Parking]: Easy and free street parking in this part of the neighborhood. [Atmosphere]: There's one outdoor patio table. They have games like Connect 4 for anyone who wants to kill time and sell random accessories. [Menu]: Lavender Bee is Yelp's top recommended drink. A good portion of their drinks focus on fruity/floral flavors. Yes they offer ceremonial matcha drinks here. *** Lavender Bee (espresso, milk, honey, lavender - $6): It was actually a good cup of latte - good espresso-to-milk-to-honey-lavender ratio & tasted very balanced. *** A solid 4.5-star on the latte I had. Not a bad place to meet up with friends or go for a coffee date.

I'd already gotten into my GF chocolate cookie and half sweet oat milk cinnamon roll latte before I thought to take a picture.

How have I not reviewed Pressed + Flower? I love this place! Pressed + Flower is like a community center and an elevated coffee place and also comfortable and social, but they also have a little corridor in the back with a more quiet place where you can plug your computer in and work. Plus the coffee is really, really good. But they're also really nice, so on the rare occasions where I didn't love my coffee they've been absolutely wonderful about fixing it. And you can bring your dog (or cat) and sit on the quiet back patio or more social front outside table.

I am beyond impressed with this coffee shop!!!! They use Stereoscope coffee beans which I LOVE. Now I don't have to drive all the way to LA to get stereoscope coffee! They also have PLENTY of seating, free wifi, outlets for chargers, and clean bathrooms. What a dream! This is a great place to get some work done while drinking yummy coffee. I got an iced honey + cinnamon latte and it was great! They have the crunchy chick-fil-a style ice!!! I also got a butter croissant warmed up and that was great too! Their pastries are from Bread Lounge in the Arts District in LA. Service was wonderful, shout-out to Stephi! I will definitely be returning.

I tried the matcha here with no sweetener and it was delicious. There was a line, but it moved pretty fast. I also like this place to hang out and study.

cinnamon roll latte

finished a hike in Azusa and this shop popped up and im glad it did! the shop has a little boutique part where you can browse and ample seating for those needing to work/study or even catch up with people. the guy who took my order at the register was great. super kind. ordered the cinnamon roll late and crème brûlée matcha. the cinnamon roll latte was a 10/10 for me. you can tell the beans they use are good quality and it wasn't over sweet or artificial tasting like most shops these days. the matcha was good too, but in my opinion not the best compared to other matcha lattes out there butttt it's still solid. totally recommend their coffee tho because that's something I'll be coming back for whenever im in the area!

The honey comb latte with cold foam is 10/10! I did not go to the location personally, but my cousin is a regular here.

There were three employees behind the counter, but it didn't feel like there was any sense of urgency. The young lady at the register had an unpleasant attitude, and instead of focusing on orders, she turned around and started chatting and flirting with a coworker. It honestly felt like they weren't prioritizing getting orders done, which made the whole experience worse. I've had much better experiences during the weekdays, especially when the older women is there service is quicker and more professional. Overall, this visit left me pretty pissed. The coffee didn't even taste the same as it usually does. I hope management looks into improving weekend staffing and customer service. To your response : I read your response, and honestly, it comes off more defensive than helpful. You can list timestamps, review footage, and explain internal processes all you want, but none of that changes the actual customer experience. We waited around 18 minutes for drinks in what looked like an empty café. If there were multiple orders ahead of us, that clearly wasn't communicated, and that's part of the problem. Trying to discredit my review by saying it's "not supported by the facts" is a bit much. My review reflects exactly what we experienced standing there. From our point of view, there was a lack of urgency, and the staff did not appear focused on getting orders out. That's not an "attack," it's an observation. Also, the tone of your response is pretty telling. Instead of acknowledging how the situation could have been handled better from a customer perspective, you chose to argue and basically suggest we're wrong. That's not a great look for a business. At the end of the day, you're focused on defending your team, and I'm focused on the experience I had and it wasn't a good one. I stand by what I said.

Genuine, pleasant surprise shook me... it's TASTY! I felt awake as I sipped this smooth, premium coffee. I arrived at Kristos Coffee (Azusa) on Tuesday (around 9:35AM). Parking is very easy if familiar with its location. Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is hidden alongside the Lemon Zest business's backside; Kristos Coffee has its own shared lot. There's also street parking. (Quick Note: Shockingly, Kristo Coffee is wedged between two Azusa coffee juggernauts [i.e. Pressed + Flower, Penny Coffee Roasters], yet it still confidently competes.) Staff is professional, charming, and hardworking. Staff briskly welcomed me, and Staff answered all my questions with a calm, relaxed demeanor. Staff is also very attentive. My drink took three minutes and 15 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I enjoyed my Teddy Latte ($8.75 - 20oz - Iced). After my first sip, I fought the urge to scream in joy. This iced coffee tastes crisp and clean; it deftly avoids that gloopy processed taste. Rather, I smiled as its fresh coffee roast flavor and slumbering sweetness playfully slapped me across the cheek. With a relaxed sigh, the aftertaste of brown sugar and cinnamon stretched lithely. I felt awake and happy. Concerning ambiance, Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is currently an order-and-go spot. Its interior is bare bones. There's no restroom; there's no bottle of hand sanitizer; and there's no customer internet. Rather, it's one tiny round table and a small counter. There's also one available electrical outlet. Still, I appreciated the interior's cleanliness and upbeat music. Overall, Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is a story of passion and quality. Despite the bad visibility and hefty coffee competitors, Kristos works hard to provide useful, flavorful coffee to the community. If curious, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.8 out of 5. "GO!!"

Kristos is behind Lemon Zest, so it's in your best interest to turn onto Sixth Street and park in the lot there. The shop is very small, but clean. Service was good. Unfortunately the iced dulce de latte wasn't good, it had a very thick layer of dulce de leche that was difficult to stir and the mixture wasn't enjoyable. I suggested a few stops in and around Covina, so I went to Yelp to find a good spot to grab breakfast first. The name caught my attention and upon a quick Yelp look, it made for an easy decision. We sat outside but the inside is pretty cool - full DJ setup and lots of albums. I ordered the pork belly and a side of potatoes for the table to split. And, a latte of course: The pork belly was... mmmmm.... so, so good. Crispy and seasoned and hot. The greens were a nice complement to the salty goodness of main dish. The potatoes were also quite good but my only comment was that they used the same seasoning as the pork belly and it was a little heavy on the potatoes. Don't get me wrong, they were good but it was the same note twice. The latte was solid. And, the location made for the perfect meetup spot. Fast forward two hours and I ended the day with 4 new records to add to my collection and a great new spot to tell others about trying near downtown Covina.
