Located in the Glendora Public Market. I've tried their Azusa location and wanted to compare. I stopped by on the weekend and saw they had a summer menu with a new mango espresso tonic. I've been diving into espresso tonics lately so I wanted to see how theirs was as well. This was easily a 10/10 drink. The mango flavor was very vibrant and it was a refreshing drink for a hot day. I was also running low of coffee beans so I grabbed a bag from their shelf. American Express is accepted here.

WOW. What a nice iced oat latte! The espresso is real strong but the bittersweet taste of strong espresso and creamy oat is what I like. My husband thinks it's a bit too bitter, but I like it just the way it is. Service was great and we were nicely greeted when we went up to order. Parking was ample in the morning on a Sunday! Bonus perk is it's in a food hall so you can enjoy a great breakfast to accompany your delicious coffee. Come support this local shop!

Came inside to grab a quick iced Latte and the staff was really friendly and quickly took my order. Penny's is located inside of the food court on Arrow hwy and Gladstone. Typical food court ambiance and lots of seating. Latte was perfect!

My mom picked me up after dropping off my car for service nearby. We remembered there was coffee at the Glendora Hall and stopped by. It was so quiet at 8am and there was plenty of parking at this time. We ordered the latte, Spanish latte, chocolate croissant, and cinnamon sugar knot. The Spanish latte was not too sweet which was fantastic. The cinnamon sugar twist was delicious and it was warmed up. It was the right amount of sugar and cinnamon, and it was very fresh tasting. My mom finished her latte and chocolate croissant so I think that says a lot. The ambiance was very relaxed and the baristas were super friendly. They are also patient when you are trying to make a decision.

Very milky sweet matcha with no matcha taste :,( it tastes mainly of mango and not much else. I should have gotten something coffee based, but if you were wondering the matcha is not great. I wasn't seeing many speciality espresso lattes on the menu in person like I did online. Not sure if they still do the spice melange or Spanish latte.

Good coffee and good people. What more can you ask for? If you are not sure what to order, just order a cappuccino or a flat white!

I frequent going to Glendora Public Market and I don't get to try Penny Coffee Roasters often. In the past I only went one time. On a recent, trip I was craving some caffeine and was on a short work break so I wanted to try something again. The aroma of coffee was intoxicating good. The cashier was very nice during the whole ordering process. I ordered the Nilla Houjicha with oat milk. Oat milk is an additional charge. The staff works efficiently and appear to enjoy making and serving drinks to each and every customer. Seating is easy since the market has plenty of tables. The Nilla Houjicha was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and boldly flavored enough for me to enjoy a boost of energy. I drank it quickly because it was very delicious. I would have easily ordered another cup of it, but I needed to resist. Lol. Penny Coffee Roasters has more drinks I'd like to try in the future. Great staff, great product and great vibe. ( ^_^)b

The highlight to my Friday morning was the tiramisu latte!!!! Omg the foam was sooo good. My roommate got a hot matcha latte with oat milk and wow! I think it was the specialty one with orange flavor??? I was very surprised at the matcha quality!! Anyways thank you for making my Friday! I highly recommend the specialty seasonal flavors! They also give nurses discount so thank you guys for supporting the medical field highly appreciate it

It is nice to have a coffee shop inside Glendora Public Market, especially sincd they open at 7:00 AM every day. The staff are friendly, energetic, and welcoming. I ordered two iced coffees with salted caramel. My daughter enjoyed her drink. For me, I felt it was a little bitter. I didn't feel the caramel or the balance between coffee and caramel as much as I would have hoped. However, I still liked my drink, and would definitely come back to try their lattes and more of their menu items. Overall, it is a nice coffee shop to stop by and have a fast and pleasant service

Fabulous people, great coffee. I've been looking for coffee shops in this area and haven't found anything that makes me want to return vs. just getting a Starbucks drink for conveniency. As early as 7:30 AM these people were able to brighten my day already :) I got a salted caramel latte and it was the perfect morning pick me up ;my drink wasn't overloaded with ice and I was on my way to work so it my coffe wasn't completely water by the time I got to it during a busy shift and I was actually able to enjoy it for longer. Will definitely be stopping back whenever I'm in the area and excited to try more items on the menu. They also have a beautifully curated seasonal menu that sound amazing! My first review but definitely not my last here

I'm such a fan of Penny Coffee Roasters. I typically order a Matcha Latte with Lavender and it has always been consistently good. They now regularly have seasonal drinks (which I don't think I noticed until maybe the last year?) and they always hit! Staff here is always super friendly. Location in the Glendora Public Market is perfect (there's always easy parking). If I had one complaint? Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait depending on the time of day you go. I've once waited 15 minutes for a drink because there were a few drinks ahead of mine. It's definitely not a spot you'd go for a quick coffee.

Been trying some of their other latte flavors and it has been CONSISTENTLY good. Had to give them a 5 stars. Customer service is always good as well.

Penny roasters was bomb! They service was awesome from the moment we walked in to the moment we ordered. I had a latte and the espresso was so smooth and balanced. The tiramisu cream top was light and sweet.

As well as having…read moreincredible coffee, which started me on my coffee journey, the staff are incredible, the managers Adam and David do an amazing job to make the place feel like a warm and caring environment. Employees there are very kind and seem to take an interest in everyone who walks in the door. Recently an incident occurred that I have nothing but respect for how the staff handled. A now former regular, who I will be keeping anonymous for obvious reasons, was banned from the store for openly racist remarks and verbally harassing staff. I was not personally present for it, but that is accurate to my experience with said person. They have repeatedly made racist and classist comments and have pretty heavy handedly push their ideological views to me. After banning said customer, they proceeded to threaten and harass the staff, from what I saw in regards to the banning, the manager Adam handled it with more respect and elegance than I believed necessary. Despite his tact, she took that as an opportunity to go on a tangent of excessive profanity and slurs. I think it's very telling about the type of people who work at Penny that they value maintaining a safe and welcoming environment even in the face of bullying and harassment. I've never felt more inclined to go to penny than I do now. Thank you guys for what you do and keep up the good work. You guys are rock stars fr!!

I've been a loyal customer of Pennys Coffee since they opened in Azusa. Over the years, I've spent…read morethousands of dollars here and have recommended the shop to many friends and others in the coffee community. Unfortunately, my experience with the shop changed because of repeated interactions with the store manager, Adam and the event that had just happened. I want the owners to be aware of concerns I have regarding the atmosphere created by management. On multiple occasions, I have heard Adam speak negatively about the owners and other baristas in front of customers. I have also experienced him bringing personal and political opinions into conversations while working, which I feel creates an uncomfortable/unprofessional environment. He works every Monday so I can't even sit on the only couch and drink my coffee in peace, he's always talking nonsense and forcing his personal opinions down my throat. He never stops talking, and if you try to share your opinion, he talks right over you. He has a veryyy hard time accepting viewpoints that differ from his own. He's honestly on some sort of power trip. The most concerning incident occurred recently when Adam yelled in my face while inside the coffee shop!! Then the other barista, David got involved with his encouragement during this interaction. They surrounded me and were trying to intimidate me together and at that time there were no other customers in the store, and when I tried to speak to them to tell them to stop yelling at me- they went at me harder to the point I had to literally run out of the shop bc I didn't feel safe there. It's the first time I have ever had two men corner me and yell at me- it was honestly traumatizing. After leaving, I informed David that I would never be returning. I believed that would be the end of the situation. However, David provided Adam with my personal phone number without my permission, and Adam contacted me by text after I had already left the store in an effort to intimidate me further. During that exchange, Adam also accused me of being racist. I found it completely inappropriate that my personal information was shared without my consent so that a workplace conflict could continue outside of the store. I also want to address an issue with David. Throughout my visits, you have repeatedly attempted to hug me or touch me when I came into the shop. Regardless of your intentions, this made me uncomfortable. Customers should not be touched without their consent. I also work in the business of customer service, and I understand the importance of professionalism. I would never speak negatively about my employer to customers, push personal or political views on people supporting my business, yell at a customer, or use a customer's personal information to continue a confrontation after they leave. It's disappointing because I did like this coffee shop and wanted to continue supporting it. However, my experiences with Adam and David traumatized me. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously and address them so other customers do not have similar experiences.

You can find parking on the street, or you can park in the lot. When walking towards the cafe, you will see a sign for a pub. You can walk inside and turn towards the right. The cafe and baristas are located towards the very back! Yet, once you go inside, you notice all the seating that is available. We have asked towards the baristas, and used a little tablet to scan their menu. We ended up ordering a tonic and a banana cold brew. They also had food items! We had chosen their breakfast burrito. Their coffee is strong and you can feel the caffeine. Yet, the sweetness is perfect and can mask your actual caffeine intake! It's amazing how they can do both. Their burrito was very savory and delicious as well. It's always quick and clean at this cafe. The baristas are always sweet. My fiancé and I do come here to do work, and their WiFi is decent, too. I highly recommend this cafe if you're ever in the area!
