First time at Ventana and I tried the Ventana iced coffee a lighter version of a Vietnamese iced coffee. It was delicious I highly recommend it Service was quick and simple friendly staff. There's sitting inside for anyone who would like to stay and work or talk with friends.
Shoutout to my college friends that recommended this place. Double matcha is always a great choice. I was in the area and excited to try this place out. I didn't expect it to be tucked away in a plaza. The storefront looks simple and upon entering, it felt homey. It reminded me of a family owned Korean coffee shop. The staff making our order was helpful, kind, and friendly. I ordered on the kiosk and it was quick and easy. The Double Matcha was creamy and perfectly sweet. I ordered the large and it was worth it. The coffee shop has a restroom in the back, which was clean and organized. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Found this place on Doordash. It came in as the #2 most popular coffee shop. This place is in a shopping center, so plenty of parking. Inside is small, clean minimalist decor. There is a bench that wraps along the inside but not a lot of tables. They have kiosks to place your order. We order the Basque Cheesecake in original and matcha along with the Strawberry Morning Bun. The cheesecake ms were deliciously creamy, not too sweet and flavorful. The bun was flaky with hints of strawberry. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. You can customize the sweetness of your drinks. We added the sweet cold foam on the Iced Hazelnut Latte which was our favorite. The Strawberry Matcha has tons of strawberry flavor with sweet matcha flavor, not grassy. It tends to get busy in waves but their service is good
First time trying Ventana Coffee in Covina! I'd say it's more of a grab-and-go coffee spot than somewhere to sit and hang out. You order everything through a tablet, so there isn't much customer service or interaction. I also thought the add-ons were pretty pricey--around $1 for different milk, 50¢ for sugar-free options or syrups, plus extra for other customizations. My double matcha latte with almond milk, sugar-free sweetener, and lavender syrup came out to around $10. The matcha itself was actually really good! I'd give it an 8.5/10. My sister tried one of their espresso drinks and gave hers a 7.5/10. The biggest downside for me was definitely the price. I understand my substitutions add to the cost, but $10 for a standard-sized drink is a little too much for me to come back regularly. As for the atmosphere, there are some wooden seats, but it didn't really feel like a place to study or sit and catch up with friends. The back area had plants, boxes, and other items, so it definitely gave me more of a get your drink and go vibe. Overall, the matcha was delicious, but between the pricing, extra charges, and limited atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return. Worth trying once if you're curious though!
I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. This place is very spacious with lots of plants. They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.
I like this place just do not like ordering on DoorDash the items do not come secure and closed where a dasher can't tamper with your order. Would love if this was changed because 100% of my orders are always through dash because I rarely have tim. I'm always skeptical ordering like this.
Can I give this coffee 10 stars?!! This coffee is hands down the best damn coffee I've ever had locally. If you see this spot open, don't think...just walk in and order at the little kiosks. That part is self serve and super easy to do. I ordered my normal coffee beverage a cold brew and added sweet cold foam for $1 extra. When I tell you the foam changed my life I'm not even kidding! It's so worth it!!!!! This cold foam was so thick it could save your life if you fell down. If you had a leaky faucet at home, just order some cold foam and it'll stop that drip in its tracks. Like this cold foam can save on plastic and help the environment because it's so thick you don't even need a lid! I wish I could upload a video. Just go try it please. So good! It's such an unassuming little coffee spot next to a laundry place and Chuck E. Cheese in a shopping center that doesn't look like anything special. The interior is minimal with slashes of green plants, some of which are for sale. I haven't tried any of the other coffee drinks because I'm a creature of habit so cold brew is all I need. But if you're in the area, check this spot out! If you get to taste this magical brown elixir sent from the heavens with a touch of foam cloud goodness, you'll be so happy you did. Thank Ventana Coffee for making my afternoon the best ever!
This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.
Wow! My husband loves trying new coffee and he tries to find ones that offer non coffee drinks for me. This one was an excellent choice for both of us. He had the sea salt cream dark brown sugar iced latte and I had the tumeric ginger honey iced latte. They were both amazing. My husband ordered his drink half sweet and it was perfect because of the sweet cream top. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.
Cute coffee spot, kinda lowkey but they had a wide menu of specialty drinks and I think some seasonal too. The baristas behind the counter were super friendly which is always appreciated :) They had some pastries as well I tried and were tasty too
Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.
It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot. I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.

I'm regular here since next door is the laundrymat ... Sometimes I feel I bring the crowds w me since when I get here there's nobody but after I ordered, the rush comes! Service is on point and the owners/baristas remembers their regular customers. My go to and highly recommend is their turmeric ginger honey latte add double shot expressos, and cream foam. It's so refreshing and tasty! Don't forget to add the toasted bagel! read more

I'll start off by saying I love ventana coffee. This is probably one of the greatest hidden gems in the Covina community. Owners are very friendly & always greet every costumer with a smile. Place is cozy and quaint with a variety of plants are a part of their decor. Coffee itself is amazing, I enjoy both the vanilla bean & horchata iced latte. Both of these coffees are the perfect balance of sweet & strong which is my favorite combination of all. If you'd like to add a little more sweetness you could never go wrong with their cold foam which pairs perfectly on both drinks. I have also had their limited time double matcha latte which was perfect as well. The drink comes with matcha cold foam which gives it some sweetness as well. One can order and adjust their drink preference on the self order screens. It's a great accommodation to visualize the drinks and order based on your preference! Overall Ventana is one of my favorites and would recommend it to anyone who would ask! read more

HIDDEN GEM in Covina , I had no idea there is a local coffee shop in this plaza until my friend took me here. The decor is so chic and cute with quite a few plants. You can order your coffee on the terminal kiosk , super easy and pay with credit card. There are alot of specialty coffee that you can pick up or you can customize your coffee. I ordered the Iced Sea Salt Dark Brown Sugar Latte with oat milk, it was soooooooo good that I came back the next day. It's addicting! Ventana Coffee is also on Doordash if you want delivery/pick up instead. I will definitely come back to try other coffee. read more
I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I'm so glad I did! Their Thai tea latte is nice and creamy with the perfect blend of tea and spices. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about their menu. The interior is a small area for sitting with current Christmas decor. This is a great spot if you want to try out some nice drinks. read more

This place is so cute! I don't know if it's true, but the interior reminds me of an old Yogurt shop remodeled. The vibes inside the cafe is really chill with indie music playing in the background and several plants arranged in the store. The Ventana ice coffee is dark and rich in flavor. But not too much where you can't drink anymore. Similar to a Vietnamese coffee. It's something perfect if you want to wake up! They have a wall of benches for you to sit on and 7 tables for you to put your drink on. Overall I will return in the future and support this small business! read more

I love trying new coffee shops whenever I can and I'm so happy that I was able to visit here. I tried a hot Rose Latte with soy milk (I can never find places that offer soy as an option!!) and it was incredibly delicious. I'm the type of person that will get hot drinks on a hot day and find them super refreshing. I visited on a weekday around 2pm and the person working was super friendly and helpful. My drink was ready very quickly and I enjoyed all the beautiful plants that were in the shop! read more
I am currently addicted to two things -- coffee and planes and Ventana Coffee has both of them. They even sell plants and propogate them onsite. Anyway, I had an iced latte with almond milk with sugar free hazelnut syrup and it made my morning. That and a homemade fruit and yogurt parfait provided me a the fuel I need for my hike at Joshua Tree today. You could also tell that that workers love what they do. So glad I stopped in. You should too! read more

The place is very cute and the owners are welcoming! There's an iPad that you can order from or an associate can also take your order. It was my first time here so using the iPad was a better choice for me because I was able to look at all the options they offer. You are able to customize the drinks which is good! Regarding the drinks, I ordered an ice blended caramel with extra caramel and a Thai tea light ice with lavender. Thai tea with lavender- 8/10 Ice blended caramel with extra caramel- 7.8/10 read more

Ventana Coffee is AMAZING! I ordered the Sea Salt Cream Dark Brown Sugar Latte with whole milk and default sugar sweetness (100%) with added sweet cream on top. The drink costs $7.50 because "sweet cream" was an additional dollar charge. This beverage is sweet and superb! I felt flabbergasted since it tasted like a liquid cream milkshake with velvety brown sugar flavors. The caffeine is also delightfully strong! It's a memorable, flavorful, and powerfully caffeinated beverage. Yum! However, Ventana Coffee is intimidating despite the friendly staff. I arrived on Thursday (around 8:40AM) and there's already customers pouring inside. The two staff members kindly welcomed me; however, they quickly resumed their coffee making duties. Customers are mostly expected to use the self-service stations. It's intimidating but worth it. Customers can modify the milk type, sweetness level, and shots added; however; there's extra charges for the non-defaults. I'll attach a photo showing a couple of those additional charges. The staff is hardworking. I only waited 6 minutes and 37 seconds after my order. Strangely enough, the self-service kiosk's many options took me about two minutes to navigate. Ventana Coffee is well-ventilated and clean. Light pop music played on the speakers as customers waited. The location is small, but the decorative plants helped brighten up the ambiance. However, this location is primarily a "order and go" location. This is not a location for a laptop or studying. It's simply a place to quickly grab delicious, high-quality coffee. Ventana Coffee has a large parking lot. It shares the plaza with the big Chuck E' Cheese. Ventana Coffee is small and easy to overlook; it's absolutely a hidden gem. Overall, Ventana Coffee is superb. The Sea Salt Cream Dark Brown Sugar Latte with whole milk and default sugar sweetness (100%) with added sweet cream on top is delicious and strong. If you like sweet coffee, I easily recommend. AMAZING! read more

Was craving for matcha latte so i went out of my usual route to work to get one from here. Since this is a mom and pops (with high Yelp reviews), I was expecting to get a good quality matcha that is better than the chain cafes. But instead, what I got is a cup of sugar and food coloring for $8.50!!! Tastes super artificial, you can't taste even a hint of matcha. This really ruined my morning. read more
