5/29/26 So glad I stopped by! Got the Cafe de Ola latte. Kudos to Jagruti (saw her video), this place is small & off the beaten path (for me). I love cafe de olla and as they say, it didn't disappoint. I got an exceptional cup of cafe de olla latte, thanks to Elijah, who was a very welcoming and and friendly young man who help me at the counter. He answered all my curious questions. It is such a small shop. There are no seating arrangements inside the small shop that has a lot of merchandise from T-shirts, sweatshirts, to coffee beans to mugs, etc.. from the looks of the mugs that are featured here. This shop has been in business for a decade, more power to you. I hear vibrant and cultural music that is faint enough for you to be able to carry a conversation, I really love that. This is right by the Metrolink train tracks street parking noted and there appears to be a public parking that's free along first street this shop is in the corner of first Street and Main Street. . This is another shop. I wish that would be closer to me, and I would be visiting it very often at least once or twice a week if I could help it at all. Another wonderful experience. Ordered an iced horchata chai latte - it was okay. It looked very watery but the taste wasn't so bad. It was okay and i probably wouldn't order it again. I also ordered a Cinnabon which was horrible. I saw it go into the oven as soon as we ordered. When our drinks were ready, we went up to grab the drinks and asked for the Cinnabon. Staff said the Cinnabon was still in the oven. We noticed a box at the pick up station but didn't think much. That box ended up being the Cinnabon. The Cinnabon was very very stale. read more

I was on the way to another coffee shop when I made the wrong turn and saw Mi Cafecito in the corner. There were customers sitting outside enjoying their drinks and pastries... which is always a good sign. I'm so thankful I took the wrong turn because it led me to one of my new favorite coffee shops in Pomona! I ordered a matcha latte and it was delicious. Not overly sweet and had a bold matcha flavor. My mom ordered a cafe de olla cold brew which she loved! Again, not overly sweet with great cafe de olla flavor. The customer service was very nice everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They also sell really cute merch, mugs, and coffee beans! Definitely coming back soon. read more

Came by this coffee shop before work it's in the downtown Pomona area parking was easy. The inside is very small no place really to sit down. I got the Horchata latte. They have three different sizes I got the medium size . It came out to $8.00 a little pricey, but the coffee overall was good. They also didn't have any sticker or something on their cup to show where it came from. I like to post my coffee so it's unfortunate. It was just a plain cup. read more

First time coming here and im glad we stopped by. The baristas were welcoming and friendly and provided several recommendations as first time drinks. Ultimately we got the iced café de la olla latte and the hot version. I preferred the hit version, tbh. It was cinnamony with a hint of cloves. I will say it was slightly on the sweeter side, so next time I'd ask for half sweet. I also tried their monkey bread. They warmed it up for me so it got perfectly gooey at the bottom. A cute coffee shop, amazing vibes...la musica *chef's kiss*. Seems to be a popular spot for locals and parking was extremely convenient and easy. Limited seating. They had a small selection of pastries, and they make their syrups in house! Truly have to commend them as that makes all the difference. Will have to return to try other items on the menu, especially their drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful as I ordered my drink as well! Appreciated them sharing a bit of the business. read more

Anytime we're in the area, we stop by for a cup of Café de Oro, which tastes great. The service is excellent, and the pastries are fresh and a nice complement to your coffee. They have a few outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy your order. read more

Stopped by Mi Cafecito and honestly... so good. We ordered the latte de olla, café de olla, horchata latte, and the dulce de leche latte, and every single drink was a hit. The café de olla had that perfect cinnamon-spice warmth, and the latte de olla was super smooth without being too sweet. The horchata latte was creamy and comforting, and the dulce de leche latte was rich but not overpowering. You can tell they really care about flavor and quality. Cozy vibes, friendly service, and drinks that actually stand out from your typical coffee shop menu. Definitely coming back to try more!! read more

Open on Thanksgiving already a plus!! So cute and aesthetically put together coffee shop. Service was top tier. I am horrible i didn't get the name of the gentleman but i told him exactly how i enjoy my coffee and he had a variety of suggestions. Won me over with letting me try their de olla cold brew for a taste test. So good and flavors of espresso along with the authenticity of cafe de olla was immaculate. The cold brew was topped with their own cold foam which wasn't too sweet at all just how i like it. overall 10/10 for its originality, flavor, and presentation for their own cold brew w/ foam. i also ordered a chorizo pie they had in their pastry shelf very flavorful with a little kick. Thank you Mi Cafecito it was a pleasure can't wait for the next visit. read more

Am I blind or does the seasonal menu not state the price of this drink. There are 3 sizes. I got the medium size. I think 12oz...I might be wrong. But, it was $9.00. I ordered it without asking the price, dumb move on my part, b/c when I found out, I was too prideful to tell them "Please remove it from my order". I also ordered a pastry, none of them are labeled and they don't have the price either. :( I didn't take a picture of that. 1 pastry and 1 drink cost me a total of $17.--! Respectfully, the "$$" should change to "$$$". Hmmm I did like the drink, would not pay $9.00 for it, but the strawberries are local! So honestly great!!! If you are well off, have at it. I have very mixed feelings, I feel like I'm in a situationship with this café. I felt screwed, but then they told me they loved me and bought me roses. I only come here once a year, and I'm always confused when I leave. That's why I left it two stars, I just can't help it, I wish the price was clearly labeled on everything and the pastries were also clearly named. BUT! I do think it IS worth the visit. Been in Pomona for years but never got to try this place haha. Finally tried it! It's a small coffee shop in the corner, plenty of parking around. There's a few seating inside the shop, and a few more outside at the patio. Cute shop area! I ordered a latte de olla, which the drinks are honestly pretty pricey to begin with. It was $8 for a 16 oz already, but I feel like the drink would be more reasonable as $6. Although, it was my first time trying it, so why not. Service was quick and efficient, which it didn't take too long for me to receive. First few sips of the drink and it's pretty good! I really enjoyed the cinnamon sweetness to it. The coffee strength isn't too strong, but pretty decent. read more

Mi Cafecito The sweetest little coffee shop in Pomona! OMG - this is my 2nd time here and every time I just want to buy everything lol! Cutest decor and cups! The coffee is always delicious and consistent flavor. I had the cafe de la olla latte, not too sweet. We also tried the mazapan and mocha mexicano. Quick service and kind staff. They even designed leaves in our coffee. Love that they have an outdoor area to sit and relax while playing nostalgic Mexican music. Convenient parking as well. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. They do open and close early fyi. Perfect coffee date for a Saturday family trip! read more

Such an adorable cafe with an incredible aesthetic inside. I really appreciated that they sell ceramics from local artists and other products from local businesses. The line was a little long but they got through it quickly. I ordered an Iced Tres Leches which was inevitably more sweet than the average latte, but I was still able to taste the espresso. Must try and it'll quickly become your favorite. It did for us!!! Hubby and I drive 39 miles to get this coffee as often as we can. We both get iced latte de ollas... oh and their pastries are delish!!! They purchase from a local baker and have them brought in. We have a favorite in that realm too, but since it's already hard to get, I'll choose to keep that secret to myself. Please go and enjoy your latte!!!! read more

I live way out in south east LA but had a project out in Pomona so this is my go to spot when in the area. The drinks are amazing the place is clean and really cute. Every single interaction I've had with the employees has been wonderful, they're all so incredibly kind. My favorite drink is the tres leches but they are all sooo good. I'm gonna have to find an excuse to be in Pomona so I can keep getting my coffee! Yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for here, unlike other well know coffee chains that charge almost as much but give you bad coffee. I can't justify spending this much every day but for the occasional treat, it's totally worth it! Also, don't forget about those pastries, the pistachio croissant is life changing! If y'all can open another location in LA, that would be great read more

Because of work, I do a lot of driving and along the way, I've tried plenty of coffee spots (some amazing, others... not so much). Today I stopped by Mi Cafecito and was greeted by the sweet Valentina. I told her exactly how I like my coffee, and she was super patient, kind, and really knew her stuff. I couldn't decide between the Matcha de Olla and the Latte de Olla, but Valentina helped me choose, and I'm so glad I listened my Latte de Olla was delicious! The vibes inside were clean, cozy, and beautiful. Also, shoutout to the other awesome barista (didn't catch his name) who helped make the whole experience great. Definitely a new fave. Kiddo took me to her fave coffee spot - Mi Cafecito. We went with the seasonal strawberry latte. Hubs ordered the Mocha Mexicano. Both drinks were very good and a nice morning pick me up. Absolutely adorable ambience as you walk up to this spot. Soft music playing outside with a beautiful blue and white wall that leads you to the entrance. They have the simple drinks and also a really good mix of others. The drink of the season was including local strawberry farm. Take your time in the morning as these crafted drinks take time. The two woman taking orders and crafting the delights were super sweet and welcoming. Great spot! read more

Came in for the first time today with my cousin. I had a large iced mocha Mexicano and she got the medium tres leches iced latte. My drink was $10 because of the milk substitute. I went for the oat milk and it was $1.50 more. Her drink was about $8. My drink was alittle warm when it came out so I let the ice melt alittle. I wasn't too impressed at first sip UNTIL it was cold. All the flavors came together. It was good. Would I pay $10 again? No. Her drink didn't taste like tres leches at all. She travels and has been here 5 days so far. We have had coffee from different shops every day. This wasn't her least favorite, but was one of her bottom 2. Would be give them another try. Possibly. It's a cute little shop. Plenty of street parking available. Quick service. The prices are high for a local shop. I hope you are paying your workers a decent living wage. read more

Came here on the way to Cal Poly Pomona. The spot is located next to train tracks but gives the most cute comfy vibes. It's a little small with simplistic minimal decorations yet is so beautiful and esthetic. The workers were all so friendly and kind. We ordered an iced Horchata Latte, a Chocomilk, and a Mazapan Latte. All were excellent and delicious. The chorizo hand pie was tasty too! Def a new fav spot. read more

Nice small coffee spot in Pomona. Easy parking in its own lot to the right of the building. Service was quick and friendly They have a simple menu with some coffees and teas. I tried their cafe de olla latte which was nice. Half sweet was perfect. The coffee itself wasn't that strong, which would be my only critique. They also have some sweetened and unsweetened teas. Their unsweetened strawberry green tea was pleasant and enjoyable. I did snag their last remaining dark chocolate cookie which was okay. Overall solid spot if in the area, but not necessarily worth a detour. read more

A year later and I can still say that this is still the best coffee I have ever had . I come here at least one a month and never has this coffee shop disappointed. The service here is great and they are always super friendly and welcoming. There's always a line but I wouldn't mind waiting over an hour for this coffee. It's a small little shop that gets crowded pretty easily and there's only a few seats outside. My go to here is the latte de olla with a piloncillo cold foam, it's so delicious!! Been on the hunt to try new local coffee shops so decided to give this a try. This was a once and never again, simply because of the price and service. I got a matcha and my husband got a latte. We are genuinely floored when we saw the total. I never ask for a receipt but did because I thought there had to be a mistake. Nope. It was correct. Their prices (and especially addition prices like alt milk or syrup) are ridiculous. In addition, the front staff was not friendly and acted like they were annoyed to be there. Just a huge turn off. The vibes are cute, the drinks were good but no coffee shops in all the surrounding cities charge what they do. How they are still in business with these prices is beyond me. Travel just a little more north to Claremont and you have a plethora of choices of incredible coffee at reasonable prices. read more

I've heard of this place from locals and finally had a chance to stop by because I was in the area in the morning. I definitely see what the hype is. The shop is small and cozy, and there was a small line as soon as I walked in. The shop was being run by two people who were handling all the orders. I had to wait a bit to order and get my coffee, but you can see the staff making it as you order and you can tell they take great care with each order. If you don't want to wait, there is an online order pickup option, too. I ordered an iced dulce de leche coffee and it was delicious! It's not too sweet and it doesn't have too much cinnamon, all while still being able to taste the coffee notes. The store has their own merchandise for sale: shirts, mugs, enamel pins, stickers, coffee, honey, and bags--super cute stuff. They also have some pastries but I didn't try any of them this first time around. If you're in the area, I'd highly suggest checking this place out. It has a homey atmosphere and fantastic coffee--I will be coming back! read more

I have been a loyal customer for years! This was always my #1 coffee shop. But walking in recently and seeing that my usual drink I get came out to $9.50... I was shocked. I get that prices go up, but this wasn't a small bump. Same drink, same size. Just a significantly higher price. Still love the vibe and people here, but at nearly $10 a cup I won't be coming back as much as I used too. read more

A cozy coffee shop in a corner creating cool and crazy coffee concoctions! Just looking at their menu i know I'll be coming back again and that's for sure! But first I just had to have two of their seasonal gems. I started off with their Matcha De Olla that came with a nice blend of premium Mizuba Matcha and clove with a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of that mysterious Piloncillo. Now when you put that all together it kinda works. Next up I had the Chai De Otoño that came with pumpkin spice and chai and this really brought out that happy holiday cheer! There's a set of steps with pillows on each step with a block of about six outlets beside them, and a really comfy, sinky couch (plus an ottoman and two comfy looking armchairs and a big table in the middle) with a set of two outlets on the wall and a star shaped power strip sticking out of the ground with six outlets coming out of it. There are also regular tables and it seems like there are outlets beside them as well. WIFI: The wifi is open (no password necessary), even though they have a password listed where you pick up your food (it's just Sanctuary Coffee). I tried to use one of the locked ones (the only one that made sense), but the wifi password didn't work, so I'm not sure why they have one listed. Regardless, albeit not the fastest wifi I've ever used, it's incredibly doable. I have been working remote here for 1.5 hrs and had almost no issues. MENU: For LA, relatively cheap. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so I got the peach Italian soda, which was yummy. I believe it was about $4.89, which is not bad at all. I went to And Destroy in the Highland Park-ish area, and I believe an Italian soda with cream (cream is free here) was maybe $7-8. I'm used to paying more for drinks because the specialty (non coffee and tea) drinks are usually pricey, but this was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Also, you can claim a free pastry with your email and first name on their website (it sends you a voucher, just show the email). I got the banana bread, which was fine. I would've gotten zucchini, but it wasn't chocolate chip zucchini. ATMOSPHERE: Not too loud, the music is nice and chill and not very loud. There's cute art on the walls and homey looking lamps. It's the quintessential living room coffee shop, perhaps even rivaling Republik Coffee in Burbank in comfiness, noise level, aesthetic, and price (which is a bummer, because I likely will never be back - we just happened to be in North Pomona today, and I have no idea when we'd ever elect to drive this far again LOL). PARKING: It's in a little strip mall, so there's an actual aboveground lot with plenty of free parking (at least I think it's free, I got dropped off so I didn't pay much attention).
