The moment I entered, great friendly service. So many great suggestions. I went with the macadamia coconut iced latte half sweet. It was amazing!! I am definitely returning and I encourage others to stop by and check it out! The paintings are beautiful, the inside area is clean and aesthetically pleasing, with so much space and a conference room for projects and privacy. I'll definitely be back! Oh yeah, it's a non profit and they might be losing the space, so definitely come and support

Love the simplicity of this place. It was quiet and a nice place to work. It's quite a large space. Food is great.

I used to go to this coffee shop when it was across the street years ago, I hadn't gone back in so long, I noticed they moved here to this location...just as big and always clean! Customer service was great. I was so sad to hear that if they don't fundraise a certain amount, they will have to shut down end of May, since the landlord increase the rent! Hopefully everyone as a community can contribute a bit to help a good cause...anyhow, I ordered a dirty chai and a cinnamon scone and my friend ordered a matcha. My dirty chai was excellent! I had never tried matcha so I can't give my opinion on that but she said she didn't really like it. Other than that it's a great place to meet up with friends and catch up!

The first thing about this coffee that I love is that they are non-profit! I just love that they are contributing back to the community. I wanted to grab a quick coffee before heading home after trail run at Marshall Canyon. It is located next to Sprouts Market with plenty of parkings and small shops. The coffee shop is spacious and plenty tables and chairs to sit and enjoy. I see a lot of people bring their laptops to work. Their menu is simple, coffee, matcha, tea , also some non caffeinated drinks. I got the Coffee of the month which is the Banana cream cold brew. Oh it was yummy! The barista who took my order were very patient and friendly because I took some time to decide. Someone actually recommended the dirty chai and said it's the BEST. I might have to come back to try it next time.

Sanctuary Coffee is such a gem -- and even better, it's a non-profit café where 100% of the profits support charities and local communities. That alone makes it worth visiting, but the experience itself was just as great. I ordered one of their drinks of the month (July), the Blue Rose Sweet Tea, and it was delicious -- refreshing and not overly sweet. The staff was super friendly, and the bathroom was clean, which I always appreciate. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy for a Saturday morning around 11am. There's plenty of seating, a calm atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi, making it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. Amazing mission, great drinks, and a welcoming space -- I'll definitely be back!

This place is cute inside but it's very pricey for what you get. I got the Spanish latte with oat milk and it was $8 and some change. It only has ONE shot of espresso which is crazy for $8. It's very milky and sweet due to having only one shot per drink. Every other coffee shop at least has 2-3 espresso shots for their lattes and charge $6-$7.

Sanctuary Coffee lives up to its name--it's a peaceful, welcoming space with great energy and even better drinks. I ordered the matcha latte with almond milk, and it was absolutely perfect--earthy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really appreciate that their matcha isn't pre-sweetened like so many other coffee shops--you can actually taste the quality. Ben was amazing and took the time to share that Sanctuary is a nonprofit supporting the local community. That mission adds so much depth to the experience--you can feel the heart behind everything they do. The space is cozy and beautifully designed, with natural light, comfy seating, and an inviting, creative vibe. Whether you're working, catching up with a friend, or just need a quiet moment, it's the perfect spot. The staff is kind, the service is thoughtful, and the menu has great plant-based options. I would absolutely go out of my way to visit this place again. Sanctuary Coffee isn't just a café--it's a community haven. One of my favorite finds in Claremont.

Sanctuary Coffee truly lives up to its name. The space is open, peaceful, and full of seating--perfect for anyone needing to hunker down and get things done. Every time I come here, there is always a comfortable seat available. The latte was good--smooth and lightly roasted, with solid presentation and a warm, mellow flavor.

They have delicious chocolate chip scones here. It's a nice vibe- gets super busy here!

Nice service and a great atmosphere! The chocolate chip scones are absolutely delicious . It's a cozy spot with a nice vibe -- just be prepared, it can get super busy!

Lots of seating with plenty of charging plugs

It's important to support local businesses, especially non profits for local charities. This place is full of vibe, great customer service, lots of seating and tables and best of all, great coffee! I really enjoyed this place and I wish I either live near here or have a place like this out in Vegas. Either way, I want you to support this coffee shop and help make a difference in your community!

It was my first time visiting Sanctuary Coffee, and honestly they are really good! The place was nice, they have also board games, but what caught my attention was having a private section for meetings! I have never seen at any coffee shop:D The service was great as well, the guys were very kind and hard workers. The coffee was very good, and the croissants, too. On my next visit to Claremont, I am definitely visiting Sanctuary Coffee again

Jalapeño cheese bagel with lavender matcha at 7am :)))

The service never disappoints . This is my go to coffee shop one of my personal favorites. The environment is peaceful and homey it's a great place to gather with friends and or to study (like me). They have many great tea, coffee options and even matcha! Many yummy pastries aswell. Come support a small business that gives back to the community! :)))

Cute coffee shop with a ton of seating. Perfect place to get some work done. The coffee is great, nice and strong. The customer service was good. The croissant was ok, not very soft.

Ask the Community - Sanctuary Coffee

Is there outdoor space that I can enjoy coffee with my dog?

Yes we have seating in the front and back of the shop. We have a number of 4 footed friends who visit us. And our executive Director sometimes has his dog Cappuccino there!

    Do you serve chagaccinos?

We did at one point but they never bought on and the cost was too high to justify keeping it on the menu.

Is there a bulletin board to post and find local events?

    No they don't.

Hi, do they carry oat milk?

    Yes!

    Are you pet-friendly?

    No, they are not.

Is Sanctuary Coffee a safe space for LGBTQ folks and non-Christians? I'm often not certain about Christian focused businesses. Thanks.

Most of the time, everything is great, but lately, I've noticed it can be a bit of a hit or miss--I either have a wonderful experience or a really tough one. Why I keep coming back: Their food is genuinely delicious. They have really good sandwiches and so many great options if you're hungry. Also, a little insider tip: if you're feeling under the weather and want something better than a Starbucks Medicine Ball, order the Remedy Tea. It is so soothing and I highly recommend it! My recent experience: On my last visit, things felt a bit off. The staff seemed really rushed--they actually started making our drinks while we were still in the middle of ordering. Because of the rush, they missed my milk modification and the drink ended up being way too sweet, to the point where I couldn't really drink it. What saddened me most was that the cashier was pretty rude and dismissive toward us. We actually felt so uncomfortable that we didn't even want to ask for a remake, so we just headed out. I truly love the menu here and the vibe when it's "on," but I really hope the service gets back to that friendly, welcoming energy I fell in love with.

Usually I go straight to the food reviews before ambience, atmosphere, staff and such etc., but my focus has reversed a bit starting with the atmosphere. The minute my family strolls in, we had this young lady totally stare down my family. I have not ever felt our presence would strike such an unwelcoming or unwanted tone from an establishment. The gentleman at the front counter was pleasant and made some conversation so my mood was put to ease slightly, but he was next to the mean girl and it was hard focusing on the order placement. Excuse the rant but that almost ruined my morning. We sat to try our lattes and it was astonishing to see smiles given to other patrons from a woman who nearly frowned the whole time we were there? This young lady was so rude to me and my children. I can only speculate and I'll keep what I feel off the grid for now. On to the positive stuff (2 stars) the lattes were very tasty. Unique flavor options, a few different types of food items to accompany the latte or teas. Our selection: ham and cheese croissant (mid), Courageous latte-Old Forester Bourbon, Brown Sugar, Organic Cream, Pink Salt- very good HOT. It's nice and clean inside. Iron & Kin, please remember, every paying customer should be welcomed into your establishment no matter what they look like. I mean, why did you start this business anyways? It's not awful, but it tastes frugal. I arrived at Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) on Sunday (around 12:20PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. My immediate impression of the location's interior is "abandoned warehouse." There's cardboard boxes lying about; the lights are dim & gloomy; and the furniture & walls looked old and poorly maintained. There were no customers, other than myself. Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment.
