I actually came in today for a study session with some classmates and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I got done. Now the inside and tables are definitely outdated but I like how each table has an outlet and it's wide enough so you can just spread out and get some work done. The noise level isn't too loud either especially with some headphones on. Since it was a Sunday evening, I felt like it was pretty slow in the beginning but once evening hit a lot of people started coming in and a lot of people came in to sit and get work done. Most of the tables had people sitting on them with laptops out. What I liked about today is when it was slow, the cashier actually went out and wiped the tables and I felt like she did that periodically even when someone was grabbing an order to go. My friends also ordered popcorn chicken and fries and it just seems like a great snack to have while studying Wish there were more cafes like this! I ordered a peach black tea bc the cashier said black tea had the most caffeine. I requested half sweet and Crystal boba it was perfect! The galaxy drinks were really pretty and good too. I'll probably be back again!
Magic Tea (La Verne) is not bad. I ordered the Mango Galaxy Tea ($5.45) with Lychee Jelly (additional 60 cents). The drink is very sweet, thirst-quenching, & refreshing. It's an affordable, big beverage. I arrived at Magic Tea (La Verne) on Sunday (around 1:45PM). The parking lot is huge! Parking is simple & convenient. Unfortunately, its exterior is easy to miss. It's very plain and forgettable. As I approached, I see smudgy & dirty glass entrance doors. Staff is accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Staff quickly answered my questions. The "caffeine" Galaxy Tea variations include green tea. The "no caffeine" variation is just water. Staff gave great recommendations, and staff was attentive at the counter. My order took one minute and 20 seconds. Extremely fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Mango Galaxy Tea ($5.45) with Lychee Jelly (additional 60 cents). I selected regular ice, regular sugar, and "caffeine" (aka: includes green tea). I loved the drink's vibrant and attractive colors. It's also very sweet tea while injecting spurts of tangy mango. I especially enjoyed how the Lychee Jellies popped with a sweet flavor. It's a refreshing and decent quality beverage for its low price point. Unfortunately, ambiance is a huge weakness at Magic Tea (La Verne). Currently, this small business is an ugly place. Its furniture are worn-down & aged; the walls have faded paint & chipped pieces; and some portions of the floors & tables are unclean. I observed how staff ignored the dirty tables despite standing silently. There's almost no passion at Magic Tea (La Verne). It's been harshly aged with time. There are some positives though. First, Magic Tea (La Verne) had good ventilation. The air felt fresh. Next, I liked the soft upbeat Japanese music. Also, I appreciate how there's about five electrical outlets for devices; there's also customer wifi with password. The location even has two gender neutral restroom. This place could potentially be a study/work spot despite its dingy appearance. Overall, Magic Tea (La Verne) is not bad. I enjoyed my affordable & pretty drink. Staff is also friendly. It's just a shame that this small business has the appearance of a dilapidated, aging cafeteria. 4.5 out of 5
This place is a great find. I found the place nestled in a random section in this town. The Taro tea is so tasty. This is my second time here in this work trip this week. The service was quick and you can tell this place is popular. Ambiance is calming and friendly too. Stop by for a quick look!!!!!!

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. Chill and cozy vibes. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. It is located inside a small plaza. Lots of parking spots for you to choose from. Take your pick. Some spots are smaller than others, so be careful where you park. Food & Drinks: I ordered a mild popcorn chicken. I also ordered a jasmine green milk tea and roasted oolong milk tea. The popcorn chicken came out pipping hot, juicy, tender, and extremely crunchy. Some of the popcorn chicken had some flavor, but some did not. I don't think the popcorn chicken was evenly mixed / tossed in the flavor. The ones that didn't get any flavors on them were very bland, which is why I removed one star. The batter for the popcorn chicken was perfect. Not too thick or thin. Each order of popcorn chicken comes with 3 sauces. If you want more, each additional sauce after the first 3 sauces is .25¢ each. The popcorn chicken is a bit pricey, but totally worth the price with the amount that they give you. It's a generous portion. And as for my two drinks, the Jasmine green milk tea and roasted oolong milk tea were both very refreshing on a hot summer's day. I could really taste the floral notes in my Jasmine green milk tea. Both milk teas were sweet and creamy. Soooooo delicious! Staff: The staff here are very kind, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and courteous. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
It was one of those hot days and I was looking for a refreshing drink to quench my thirst. I looked at Yelp for suggestions. Magic Tea was very close and had great reviews. There was ample parking. The shop was spacious and very clean. It had relaxing and pleasant vibes. The menu included; various types of milk tea, fresh fruit smoothie, brew tea, herbal tea, flavor green tea, galaxy tea, milk shake, fresh fruit tea, in addition to snacks. I was indecisive, but the barista assisted me in choosing my drink. She was very nice and helpful. I chose topical Black Tea, 50% ice & 50% sugar with Rainbow popping 5/5 The tea was rich, stong and had refreshing floral taste. My daughter got mango Galaxy with green tea base , 50% ice, 50% sugar with Mango Jelly 5/5 It was sweet and had fragrant taste. For snacks, we ordered Popcorn chicken and fried Calamari. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Calamari. The popcorn chicken was fresh, crispy from outside, juicy and flavorful from inside. The amount was generous. The service was very fast and outstanding. The tea worked magically to provide us with energy in that hot day. Magic Tea is a great place to stop by, relax and enjoy a nice drink. Definitely, I will be back to try more of their drinks.
I've been to Magic Tea a few times now. I ordered the 25% sweetened Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba, it has just the right balance of flavor without being too sweet. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients from the first sip. One thing I like is how conveniently it's located right off the freeway. If traffic's bad, I'll swing by for a drink to enjoy on the rest of my drive makes the ride way better. The shop itself is spacious with plenty of seating, and the customer service has always been good during my visits. My drinks have been made pretty quickly each time too. I wasn't a big fan of the popcorn chicken. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not something I'd order again. Overall, still a great spot for drinks, especially if you're in the area or just passing through.

Needed a place to get some work done, this was a good spot. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking, I didn't have any issues finding a spot. Seating: Plenty of seating, great for groups, room for maybe 20. Vibes: Welcome to La Verne. Not the flashy part of LA County but a nice suburban area that has a little bit of everything. The place itself is pretty spacious. It's pretty clean with some photo op spots, and board games if you want to kill time and hang out with a friend. I dig the pop playlist as I was getting stuff done. FOOD: Green Hibiscus (Recommend) Good. I requested the minimum sugar level (25%) and it got the job done. A nice earthy but sweet fragrant flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Well-versed on the menu and quick with the service. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Good selections, reasonable price, and a comfortable experience. I had a good evening work session here. Lights were bright, calm flow of people and good wifi. For those in need of a boba fix, definitely consider this spot. TIPS: * For those that want the aesthetic photo for the gram, then make sure you get it cold.
I like coming here to get work done. They have plenty of tables with outlets by them and free wi-fi. Their tea drinks and snacks are good. I like the rose milk tea half sweet and popcorn chicken. They have other snacks as well. You can adjust the spice level for them between mild, medium, and hot. The hot is not that hot to me, but I can handle a good amount of spice. The portion of popcorn chicken is pretty good compared to other tea shops I've been to as well. Their decor consists of a lot of white - white tables, white chairs, white walls. The thing is, the upkeep could be better as there are scuff marks on the walls and chairs. The tables are a bit flimsy and could be wiped down more. Service is friendly. They have a loyalty card that you can collect stamps on if you become a regular. Overall, this place is definitely in my rotation of study/work spots in the area.
Fantastic drinks and great prices! We had the strawberry matcha latte, mango galaxy tea and the corns dogs (these were huge) and all items were great! This place is definitely a new favorite for us.
This place is amazing the drinks always taste good and it was one of the first boba places I went to so it had a good first impression on boba for me! The service is quick and I love the prices! $5.50 for a drink, amazing! And $3.75 for a decent sized fries is amazing! The ambiance is amazing with a lot of places to sit at!
Came by 15 mins after they opened and ordered their watermelon smoothie along w/ lychee green tea adding lychee jelly -both drinks were perfect for a hot Friday! The watermelon smoothie was light and sweet. It had that fresh, real-fruit taste that makes it feel clean and not overly sugary...definitely something I'd order again! 10/10 The lychee green tea was just as good! The green tea flavor was smooth and the lychee jelly that I added made it sweeter, which I love! 9/10 Service was good and the ambiance was clean and modern. read more
Quick, simple refreshments, prepared efficiently without fanfare, set amid a peaceful, elongated lobby whose walls are etched with homilies to seizing the day and being nice to others. I went w/ a Taro Milkshake, minus boba. Go figure- Your favorite Yelp correspondent relishes tapioca yet despises its more bulbous cousin, boba! Came here on a whim after dinner bc I was craving boba. I tried their earl grey milk tea w/ boba and bf tried their mango galaxy tea. I liked that I could taste the tea flavor and that it's not overpowered by milk. I also liked the chewiness of the boba, however they were on the smaller side. My bf liked his galaxy tea; however even after adjusting the sweetness level he found his drink to still be on the sweeter side. Shop is clean and spacious with ample seating .. but a little outdated for interior decor. Parking also easily accessible right outside. Service was good. The cashier who rung us up also informed us they have a stamp card program. So that was nice. read more

Whenever I would visit, my friends and I would choose this place to hang out and chill! It's in a cute plaza in La Verne with a ton of parking. Service was good as they were nice! It is quite spacious inside with a small couch and a few tables. For the drinks, we got Mango galaxy tea, smoothie, taro milk tea, rose green milk tea, and hawaiian paradise tea. The drinks were good and we all enjoyed ours! As for flavor of the fruit tea drinks, sometimes it can vary, however there is plenty of choices from the menu to try out if one doesn't work out. Overall, great hang out place! read more
Was craving a tea drink and stopped by since it was the closest place from where I was. Parking is easy, the inside is very bright and spacious with lots of seating. The girl at the front was super sweet and answered all my questions about the extensive menu. Ended up getting the galaxy tea with mango, boba, 25% ice, and 50% sweet. Drink was really good without being too sweet and the boba was perfectly chewy. Will definitely come back!! read more

My family and I decided to give this place a try since we had time to kill. The workers were very friendly and the lobby was clean. Food: + Popcorn Chicken ($8.25): Huge portions that can feed to 2-3 people! I got mild but I think they forgot to add the spices since I didn't see any and it looked exactly like my cousin's order and she got no spice. However, the chicken was very juicy and tender. I like how it came with multiple sauces (ranch, bbq and sweet chili) + French Fries ($3.75): Honestly, they tasted like regular fries. So if you're craving for french fries then get these. I personally wouldn't get them again. Drinks: + Taro Milk Tea: My mom enjoyed her drink! I'm glad that we can customize sweetness level. Especially since my mom prefers no sugar in hers since she's diabetic so it was great having this option for her. +Taro Milk Tea: Yummy! One of my go to when I'm not sure what else to order. I opted for crystal boba and it had a nice bite to it. Overall, this place was great! read more
Been here once before Covid and another time last month; both times I enjoyed the tea and food. Fried foods: the battered and deep fried cheese stuffed pork roll was ok, though I'm not sure if they still have it. The popcorn chicken was AWESOME! Generous portion of large, hot, crispy, juicy dark meat packed into a to-go box and served with what I think was ranch (surprisingly went well with the chicken!). I wish I had this closer to home :[ Teas: pretty good! Jasmine green tea with sea salt cheese foam and boba was yummy and had a decent green tea flavor, though I could have gotten less sweet (I do full sweet at most boba places). I believe I got the same drink both times I went there LOL. Inside, there were a few tables to sit at, and it seemed quite spacious for a boba shop. It was busy during my more recent visit, and it took some time before I got to order and then receive my stuff, but service was great overall since they patiently answer questions and package the food nicely. I was also able to park right in front both times, which is always a plus in my book. read more

We came late at night, so the store was quite empty, but the speed at which the server made our orders was still extremely fast. The tea itself is pretty good! If you want a more subdued tea flavor over something sweeter, I would refrain from getting the boba as the brown sugar seeps into the drink. Still quite good though. read more
Pros: long, open, airy space with plenty of tables to sit on the side. There's a solid menu of fruit teas, milk teas, and snacks at reasonable prices. Staff was friendly enough. We ordered the taro milk tea and honey green tea with boba, and both were very good. The boba itself was cooked and sweetened perfectly. We also ordered the popcorn chicken and fried mushrooms, which, just FYI, are LARGE portions -- 3-4 people can share one order of chicken and one order of mushrooms. They'll ask you what spice level you want and they come with a ranch dip. Cons: even though the shop is fairly a large, open space, we felt the staff could have paid more attention to cleanliness -- the floors near the entrance were dirty and some of the tables and chairs had food crumbs on them, all of which could have been wiped down. The bathroom was FILTHY -- from the dirty floors to the nasty, stained sink and the disgusting toilet -- the entire bathroom needs a deep cleaning. Scrub your toilets and mop your floors! And this was just one bathroom. I bet the other one was gross as well. If the bathrooms are unkempt, I can't imagine what the kitchen must look like, and the staff handles food!! Management: please have your staff attend to the restrooms. Our visit there today was shockingly foul. . Lastly, the tiny couch they have up front looks cheap and is too small for the room. Best to either invest in a larger sofa or have a couple lounge chairs, OR best to set up more tables there. Make the best use of this seemingly wasted space. read more

FIRST-timer visit: Got few drinks to-go: Pretty cups, friendly service, but not great teas... * FARES feasted on: === Roasted Oolong Tea with crystal boba - I balked at first taste... apparently they added a slice of lemon (why??) to this traditionally yummy tea so it had a not-pleasant sour aftertaste. The lemon slice was floating at the top and soaking for a while while I made the drive. Was so looking forward to trying this place but sadly couldn't even finish the drink === Wintermelon Tea - (Magic Tea also added slice of lemon to this) They said the wintermelon taste was very faint in this drink === Regular Milk Tea - They said it was so-so * FRIENDLY service: Yes * FRESH air seating outside? N/A * FAIR pricing: Yes * FEE processing: None. This was the yummiest boba tea!! Enjoyed our spontaneous stop here. Staff was very nice. However the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in like a year. Hair and urine all over the seat and sink was also filthy. This could be a cute place to study and hang out but the bathroom situation just brings the vibe down a bit because I'd feel better just going back home if "duty called." I think that better bathroom maintenance could really help business! read more
Cute place with lots of space! The house milk tea was good, but the strawberry matcha was too sweet for me. I noticed the matcha by itself was sweetened, and then the strawberry at the bottom seemed to have some sort of syrup-like sweetness to it, along with the boba also being sweet. Overall, it was like sweet-on-sweet-on-sweet (and yes, I did mix it really well after trying everything separately). So, I'd recommend adjusting the sweetness level as I tried it as is. read more
Pretty cute spot in La Verne. There is plenty of parking. They have a good variety of teas and milk tea. Also a variety of food options to snack on. The popcorn chicken was pretty good and it's worth price. You won't be disappointed. The drink were ok. Nothing really special. read more

They can do Magic! They make almost anything that you desire! Magic! And I know why, these drinks are fire! I was feeling a little under the weather so I was looking for a tea shop and this popped up! I ordered the blueberry milkshake and with my first sip I could taste the ripe blueberry flavor with bits of the berry swirling about. This was really refreshing and I was positive this would get me on the right track with all the antioxidants. Next was my colorful galaxy lychee tea that had a nice sweet tropical fruit taste and was a little pick me up with that blend of green and black tea. After this tasty experience my tongue receptors were convinced. I never believed in things I couldn't see, I said if I can't taste it how could it be. No no no magic could happen to me!
