I ordered the Cocothai Butterfly, and it was absolutely delicious. Not only was it beautiful, but the flavor was just as impressive. It had such a refreshing balance--light, creamy, and fragrant without being overly sweet. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and everything blended together perfectly. It felt unique compared to your typical boba drinks and made the experience feel a little more special. You can tell they put thought and care into what they serve, and it definitely shows. Highly recommend trying the Cocothai Butterfly if you're visiting. Looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu!

I wanted to shoutout Edwin for being an awesome employee and kudos to the team behind him tonight. You handled guests like a pro, you were perceptive of your store in its entirety, and you gave us extremely fast service. As I was leaving the Glendora Market, Edwin was keeping the front up and cleaning away. And you did it all with a smile, and you have no idea how much that means to a recurring customer. Knowing someone cares for their shop... that makes a customer want to come back. My drink was delicious, exactly as ordered. Thank you for a great experience.

The tea had the flavor of cheap powder mixed in water. In the end, I tossed this thing into the trash (video attached). This experience was such a waste of money!! I arrived at It's Boba Time (San Dimas) on Saturday (around 12:06PM - near opening time). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. There's even EV Charging Stations. Staff is the highlight. Staff (receipt says Gavin) warmly welcomed me as I entered. Gavin is professional and friendly. My drink took one minute and 30 seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I abhorred the Hokkaido Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large) with Boba. It's one of the worst prepared drinks that I've had in a long time. The tea had an artificial candy flavor while also offering a thin, watery aftertaste. The boba had no sweetness nor flavor; it tasted and felt like chewing on toilet paper. There's no bounce; rather, its just "splats." In the end, this thing went into the trashcan. "UGH!!!" Concerning ambiance, It's Boba Time (San Dimas) is harmless. I appreciated how the location was relatively clean. Ignoring the clumpy dust in its crevices, the three indoor tables are shiny. The floor also looked swept. It's Boba Time (San Dimas) has no available electrical outlets. There's a gender neutral restroom, but it was out-of-order during my visit. Also, the music is inviting and jolly with its Christmas tunes. Overall, I had a horrific experience at It's Boba Time (San Dimas). I left nauseated and annoyed. "Such a waste of money!" I'd internally screamed. At its current state, I do not recommend It's Boba Time (San Dimas). 1 out of 5

Now the inside and tables are definitely outdated but I like how each table has an outlet and it's wide enough so you can just spread out and get some work done. The noise level isn't too loud either especially with some headphones on. Since it was a Sunday evening, I felt like it was pretty slow in the beginning but once evening hit a lot of people started coming in and a lot of people came in to sit and get work done. Most of the tables had people sitting on them with laptops out. What I liked about today is when it was slow, the cashier actually went out and wiped the tables and I felt like she did that periodically even when someone was grabbing an order to go. My friends also ordered popcorn chicken and fries and it just seems like a great snack to have while studying Wish there were more cafes like this! I ordered a peach black tea bc the cashier said black tea had the most caffeine. I requested half sweet and Crystal boba it was perfect! The galaxy drinks were really pretty and good too. I'll probably be back again!

Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) is a college student tourist trap. I arrived at Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) on Sunday (around 2:54PM). Parking is easy. The shared private lot is busy; however, there's plenty of spots. This business is across from Azusa Pacific University. Staff's friendly and welcoming demeanor was this experience's highlight. I was brightly welcomed when I entered. Staff (receipt said Hanlin) also helped me when I had questions. Customers can order on the self-service kiosk or counter. My drink took one minute and 26 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered the Pearl Milk Tea ($6.05). This drink's default ingredients are non-dairy creamer, boba pearls, and "milk tea." It's a drink that makes me more annoyed the more I reflect upon it. The drink is affordable & large. In addition, it's a faint sweetness at "regular sugar." However, the drink primarily tastes like poorly flavored water. Most frustrating were their old boba pearls. These boba pearls had signs of being frozen and defrosted as they broke into congealed, rubbery chunks with each bite. Their outer later was also spongey (bordering on gloopy). And these squishy boba lacked any sweetness. There were moments where I genuinely pondered about throwing the beverage into the trashcan. Concerning ambiance, Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) had a clean floor but dirty tables. Some tables were smudgy, and others were covered in visible crumbs. Glancing at the glass entrance, I can also see smudgy marks on their unclean windows. Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) feels like a half-abandoned passion project. However, I did like the airy ventilation, three vibrant claw machines, and cheerful upbeat music. This location also includes a gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) is an affordable, cute, & somewhat-dirty location that sells cheap-tasting drinks. I left disappointed and a little disgusted. 2.4 out of 5

Cafe Bungalow is located next to a McDonalds with plenty of seating inside. The interior is fairly open with a bunch of wooden tables. There were outlets and food/snack items, which made it no surprise as to why people would want to be here all day. Menu has a great variety with items like fresh tea (green, black, oolong) topped with cream, smoothies, milk tea, and the ever famous strawberry matcha. Prices are moderate. I opted for the oolong tea topped with cream and boba. Their boba was a bit chewy, but did not have much flavor. You couldn't really taste the oolong either as it was more of a sweet cream drink. My sister got their strawberry matcha, which was a let down. It was more of a strawberry milk drink as the "matcha" portion was just poorly mixed in and maybe a half of a teaspoon of their powder??? I just wouldn't get their matcha here. Their fries were yummy with that seasoning powder and crunchy! Good portion. Same with their popcorn chicken, but it was a bit rubbery. Overall, I wouldn't really go out of my way to come back for their drinks specifically. Looked like a cute place to try. Didn't know if it was just us, but after reading other people's reviews it seems as if their service is also lacking. The cashier helping us just wasn't very nice.

She looked at me and said, I don't know. And she just sat, like I was bothering her. I said, you don't know? Is there a way to check? She asked if I wanted to know the ingredients. I said yes. She finally got up, went into the back and took a picture of the ingredients. Ingredients were acceptable. I ordered 30% ice. My daughter ordered 100% ice. Same flavor. At the end of our drinks, I had more ice than my daughter. How does that work? I picked up the drinks and said, just showing you. I have more ice left over than my daughter. Her response? Well, it keeps the drinks colder, longer. I drink fast. I just wanted a little ice. (Here it is, 4 hours later and I still have ice! ) I was given the option of how much ice I wanted. I gave my choice and it was ignored. Then, I was met with rudeness. I am sure she has potential. She just needs to learn to listen to customers and not be rude. And it might help if your store was better staffed. Oh, and the drink was good.

When I asked if I could get it as a large, I was told it only came in the 12 oz, so I decided not to get it. Then the barista offered another option adding pandan cold foam on top instead. I very clearly asked (twice) if that version would be a large, and she said yes. Since that worked for me, I agreed to the second option. I stepped out briefly to use the restroom, but theirs was closed, so I had to walk over to Stater Bros. When I came back, to my surprise, the drink was still a small. I was disappointed because I had specifically confirmed that the customized option would be a large. At that point, I felt rushed like they were more eager to close and go home than to fix the mistake so I didn't feel I had much of a choice but to take it. I paid $10 for a small drink, which felt unreasonable, especially considering the miscommunication. To make matters worse, the drink didn't really taste like pandan at all. Overall, the customer service felt very off at this location. I'd rather go to the San Gabriel location, where I've had a much better experience.
