Was very happy to have found this cute cafe. They offer yummy drinks and snacks and heartier bowls. Even lumpia! Prices are fair and they have a special add on with certain dishes for a milk or green tea for $2.50. We will def return to try more delicious looking menu items!

Came down for the weekend and stumbled upon this place close to APU where my family friend goes to! He said this is a popular study spot, so I wanted to check it out. Cafe Bungalow is located next to a McDonalds with plenty of seating inside. The interior is fairly open with a bunch of wooden tables. There were outlets and food/snack items, which made it no surprise as to why people would want to be here all day. Menu has a great variety with items like fresh tea (green, black, oolong) topped with cream, smoothies, milk tea, and the ever famous strawberry matcha. Prices are moderate. I opted for the oolong tea topped with cream and boba. Their boba was a bit chewy, but did not have much flavor. You couldn't really taste the oolong either as it was more of a sweet cream drink. My sister got their strawberry matcha, which was a let down. It was more of a strawberry milk drink as the "matcha" portion was just poorly mixed in and maybe a half of a teaspoon of their powder??? I just wouldn't get their matcha here. Their fries were yummy with that seasoning powder and crunchy! Good portion. Same with their popcorn chicken, but it was a bit rubbery. Overall, I wouldn't really go out of my way to come back for their drinks specifically. Looked like a cute place to try. Didn't know if it was just us, but after reading other people's reviews it seems as if their service is also lacking. The cashier helping us just wasn't very nice.

We've come a couple times for a late brunch and it's so good! A little hidden gem! The food is excellent but most especially the chicken pesto sandwich, not sure if they make pesto in house or what but it's very tasty. They have a lot of cool different drinks and we've enjoyed everything we've had. The employees are all so incredibly sweet and helpful!! They have a couple little games you can play and it's just really cute inside, they also have an outdoor seating area. Will of course be back!

Cute spot with free wifi! They also serve Taiwanese food in addition to milk tea drinks. You can get combo meals that come with entree, milk tea and a side dish such as potstickers. I enjoyed their black bean noodle soup. They have a few seats with outlets as well so it's great for studying working on your laptop. Service is also very efficient!

A nice little cafe in Azusa with an array of teas, coffees, and bites to eat! + tasty drinks + popcorn chicken is great. I also enjoy the curry as well! +/- beef donburi tasted good but portion of the beef was definitely small + easy parking, open lot shared with other businesses + clean restroom + free Wi-Fi + great place to do work + great for nearby students to catch or up work on homework + they have a happy hour with drink/food special

I used to love this café. As a college student, I was a regular and would come here all the time to study. The main reason I stopped coming is because of the consistent unfriendliness from the barista with colored hair and glasses. She is always rude for no reason and communicates everything with an unnecessarily harsh tone. For example, since I came so often, I expected at least a little bit of patience. One time, I came in to study while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive so that we could order together. She came up to me multiple times as I was sitting down, rushing me to order, and was rude even after I explained I was waiting for someone. The drinks here are genuinely good that's why I always chose this place over every other boba spot in Azusa. However, my most recent experience is what pushed me to finally leave a final review. It was 8 PM, and they close at 9 PM. My boyfriend and I wanted drinks with honey boba. She said, "Let me see if we have boba," which was surprising because boba is their most popular topping. With an hour left until closing, how is there not enough boba? She checked and said there was enough for two drinks if we got "light boba." I found that insulting because why would we pay full price for the topping but receive less of it? If they're giving less product, there should at least be a discount for the inconvenience. We decided to take our business elsewhere. When we let her know, she responded in a rude tone again, insisting we "could still get boba," even though it wasn't the amount we wanted. There's no reason to pay for a drink that wasn't going to be made how we wanted it. The way she handled the situation was dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, her attitude and lack of customer service completely ruin what used to be one of my favorite boba spots. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back because her behavior reflects poorly on the business. Anyways, we decided to go to BobaPop Tea Bar that was less than 1 minute away and they were able to fulfill our request of honey boba.

We came to Citrus college for an event and happened to find this place on Yelp. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown the large menu of choices. After ordering, we found a seat in this cozy restaurant, which was well lit and clean. There's free WiFi and it's a nice friendly atmosphere inside. The food came quickly and was the perfect temperature. The flavors were authentic and exactly what we were hoping for. They give a frequency card for the drinks too, so come back for more bonuses. Also, the boba was just made so it was nice and warm at the bottom of the ice drink--boba was a good texture/chewiness. ----TL;DR---- Pros: friendly service, orders came out quickly and were flavorful and the perfect temperature. Prices are reasonable. Cons: small-ish place so if you have a large party it might be limited on seating if it's peak hours. Bottom Line: loved it here and would love to come back again. If you crave Taiwanese Sausage and popcorn chicken, definitely stop in.

Probably the worst popcorn chicken that I ever had. Tastes like rubber (hot rubber) and no flavor. End up throwing it away. Waste of money.

My daughter attends APU and she discovered this cute little cafe across the street from the University when she started last year. I finally tried it with her while waiting for a show to start at the school and now I'd say we are regulars. My daughter switches her drink every time and I usually get a Milk tea which is perfectly made every time. Popcorn chicken, sesame balls and lumpia are a few of our favs! I mean come on....they have lumpia, I was sold, haha. We love this place and will continue to support this small business. Customer service is always excellent and it's always clean inside!

The store is located in a little plaza by the in n out. Found parking easily. I tried the army stew pot, beef donburi and strawberry yogurt drink. Yes, triple digit weather and ordered the stew...and still tasted fantastic haha. On the spicier side so we had said to make mild. Donburi was also good but i really liked the stew. The strawberry yogurt drink was not too sweet and pretty refreshing in this weather. Service is top notch. She would come to check on us. And the decor inside was very cute.

I visited Cafe Bungalow today with my sister. The sweet potato fries and vanilla latte were great, which is why I'm giving it three stars. However, I'm not rating it higher due to the customer service. My sister took a small table to read, and I took a larger one nearby to work, since it had more space for my stuff. When I first arrived, the large table was dirty, and since the barista was busy, I decided to clean it myself. But the barista then shouted at me, telling me not to move the plates and to put them back. I think there was a more polite way to handle that, as I was only trying to help. The situation got stranger when she served us our drinks. She asked my sister if she wanted to move to my larger table to make room for more customers. My sister and I were already settled in, with all of our things out, and there were hardly any other customers in the shop at the time (see attached picture). There were 16 seats open. We were confused and didn't move, but the barista seemed annoyed. I ended up staying for a few more hours, and the shop never got crowded. This interaction made both my sister and I uncomfortable. My sister, who is a barista herself, said she would never ask a customer to move in that way.

A simple and nice tea place with good eats and drinks. Came on a Friday night and wasn't too busy. We ordered through the kiosk and sat in the restaurant. These are what I had. Wintermelon Milk Tea - Was a solid milk tea and wasn't overly sweet. I was good. (4.5/5) Beef Donburi - This tasted good but I think it lacked content. Too little beef, it definitely needs more. This is pretty small portions so you may need to add a few snacks on the side. (4/5) Popcorn chicken rice with curry - Now this is good. Popcorn chicken was crispy and with curry on the side it really hit. I got the extra spicy curry and it was a tad spicy but not too bad. This is a must get! (5/5) Overall the food and drinks were solid. I didn't really like that the food came out on paper plates since it didn't really look as nice but the drink came is a cute cup. I'd be back to try more of their tasty snacks.

Curry fries needed more curry seasoning
    Dewi A.

I'd rate this cafe 2.5 stars -- the pros: plenty of seating, staff were friendly, and there is a variety of both food and drinks on the menu. However, the cons were the drinks were not made up to par -- they were either too sweet or SEVERELY lacking in any real flavor. For example, the pumpkin chai latte, both hot and iced, tasted more milky and creamy than anything else; it needed more pumpkin syrup and chai flavor. The sour cream and onion fries were anything but! Instead of the flavor you'd typically associate with 'sour cream and onion,' the fries tasted like they were dusted in cinnamon. They were sweet! The curry fries needed more curry powder -- the staff seemed to have dusted only the top. So when you dig in, the fries at the bottom are devoid of any curry seasoning. How about coating the fries more evenly? We had to ask for more curry powder. The fries in general could be crispier -- most of them were soggy ... who likes bland, soggy fries? The fried mushrooms had a very strange, CHEWY texture. Flavor was OK, but the chewiness may throw some people off. What kind of mushrooms are these?! The beef lumpia were very thin, and honestly for the price of these food and drink items, nothing here is worth the money. We don't mind forking over money if the items we spent on are actually GOOD. Everything just missed the mark here, which is really a shame. There are many, many boba shops around that offer better.

Small place but plenty of seating.

It was my first time at San Fernando Coffee Company, and it won't be my last! They have great coffee, breakfast options, and an awesome team making it happen. I went on a Sunday around 11 am, absolutely needing a hot coffee and a breakfast burrito. They have both here, thankfully! I've always known they were here for a while, and I finally remembered I wanted to try it out. They were packed and had multiple customers inside, so I opted for using their digital kiosk so I can calmly browse their menu. I got a Hot Vanilla Latte and their Breakfast Burrito (Egg, cheddar, hash brown, bacon) for myself, and a BLTA (Bacon, tomato, greens, avocado) sandwich for my fiancé to-go. They have an awesome, well-thought-out menu. It's not too overloaded with options that I couldn't make up my mind (like me most of the time), and had everything for anyone who wanted a drink and a meal. Everything was ready in about 10 minutes. They also had comfy tables to the right of their entrance if we wanted to sit down and eat, or sit and wait for our pick-up order. Their breakfast burrito tasted great, I just wish it was just a smidge bigger for the price, especially since Azusa has a lot of huge burrito options for less of a wallet burn. Buuuuttt that may be because I spoil myself with huge burritos I can't finish when I want to treat myself. It still tasted great, though! Their take on the BLT was their BLTA with bacon, tomato, greens, and avocado, which I thought my fiancé would like, but he is much more of a classics guy and said he wished they made the classic bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich he wanted with mayo. Its a preference thing, and we just have to try other things here! I definitely want to come back here and try one of their lattes again with cold foam this time, and one of their waffles!

A now former regular, who I will be keeping anonymous for obvious reasons, was banned from the store for openly racist remarks and verbally harassing staff. I was not personally present for it, but that is accurate to my experience with said person. They have repeatedly made racist and classist comments and have pretty heavy handedly push their ideological views to me. After banning said customer, they proceeded to threaten and harass the staff, from what I saw in regards to the banning, the manager Adam handled it with more respect and elegance than I believed necessary. Despite his tact, she took that as an opportunity to go on a tangent of excessive profanity and slurs. Unfortunately, my experience with the shop changed because of repeated interactions with the store manager, Adam and the event that had just happened. I want the owners to be aware of concerns I have regarding the atmosphere created by management. On multiple occasions, I have heard Adam speak negatively about the owners and other baristas in front of customers. I have also experienced him bringing personal and political opinions into conversations while working, which I feel creates an uncomfortable/unprofessional environment. He works every Monday so I can't even sit on the only couch and drink my coffee in peace, he's always talking nonsense and forcing his personal opinions down my throat. He never stops talking, and if you try to share your opinion, he talks right over you. He has a veryyy hard time accepting viewpoints that differ from his own. He's honestly on some sort of power trip. The most concerning incident occurred recently when Adam yelled in my face while inside the coffee shop!! Then the other barista, David got involved with his encouragement during this interaction. They surrounded me and were trying to intimidate me together and at that time there were no other customers in the store, and when I tried to speak to them to tell them to stop yelling at me- they went at me harder to the point I had to literally run out of the shop bc I didn't feel safe there. It's the first time I have ever had two men corner me and yell at me- it was honestly traumatizing. After leaving, I informed David that I would never be returning. I believed that would be the end of the situation. However, David provided Adam with my personal phone number without my permission, and Adam contacted me by text after I had already left the store in an effort to intimidate me further. During that exchange, Adam also accused me of being racist. I found it completely inappropriate that my personal information was shared without my consent so that a workplace conflict could continue outside of the store. I also want to address an issue with David. Throughout my visits, you have repeatedly attempted to hug me or touch me when I came into the shop. Regardless of your intentions, this made me uncomfortable. Customers should not be touched without their consent. I also work in the business of customer service, and I understand the importance of professionalism. I would never speak negatively about my employer to customers, push personal or political views on people supporting my business, yell at a customer, or use a customer's personal information to continue a confrontation after they leave. It's disappointing because I did like this coffee shop and wanted to continue supporting it. However, my experiences with Adam and David traumatized me. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously and address them so other customers do not have similar experiences.

Parking is easy since the parking lot is BIG and spacious. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Staff quickly answered any questions. Customers can order at the counter or self-service kiosk. My drink took two minutes and five seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I liked the Blushe ($5 -- 70% Sugar). It's a tea with good ingredients, but personally I'd recommend selecting a lower sweetness. Also, if you're not a fan of rose or perfume-like drinks, this might not be fit your palate. Still, it's prepared thoughtfully, and the price is ridiculously competitive. I sipped with a small smile. On ambiance, Yoxi Teatime (Glendora) is an AMAZING option for study/work. The location is well-maintained and generous! The air condition is STRONG, and the location is chill and refreshing. There's also about four electrical outlets. She looked at me and said, I don't know. And she just sat, like I was bothering her. I said, you don't know? Is there a way to check? She asked if I wanted to know the ingredients. I said yes. She finally got up, went into the back and took a picture of the ingredients. Ingredients were acceptable. I ordered 30% ice. My daughter ordered 100% ice. Same flavor. At the end of our drinks, I had more ice than my daughter. How does that work? I picked up the drinks and said, just showing you. I have more ice left over than my daughter. Her response? Well, it keeps the drinks colder, longer. I drink fast. I just wanted a little ice. (Here it is, 4 hours later and I still have ice! ) I was given the option of how much ice I wanted. I gave my choice and it was ignored. Then, I was met with rudeness. I am sure she has potential. She just needs to learn to listen to customers and not be rude. And it might help if your store was better staffed. Oh, and the drink was good.
