Came in a few minutes ago and it was not the best experience. We ordered and sat waiting for about 8-10 minutes before checking what happened. Our order got lost in the system, so we had a delay getting it. That's fine, I get stuff happens, but when I ordered the register said "if you want to use tap click pay with cash" so I did. When we finally got our order I told the workers (2 girls) that I needed to pay and they made me get back in the line to pay. Concerning the Strawberry Matcha Latte, I enjoyed its intended ingredients. It's a blend of good-quality matcha, fresh milk, and powerful sugary sweet strawberry jam. Unfortunately, its preparation tasted rushed. I did not enjoy the globs of bold jam which lingered and stuck in my cup and throat. The cup's outside also felt somewhat sticky. Most unfortunately, whoever prepared the boba topping did a subpar job. The boba were not bouncy; rather, these warm boba immediately broke apart like unset pudding when bitten into. Staff was also somewhat awkward. The staff members appeared to be playing with the music, and they had Christian Rock Music blasting loudly in the speakers as they were giggling. Regarding ambiance, the location is charming. The inspirational words on the walls were uplifting; the puzzle section was cute; and the main dining area is fairly clean. Krak Boba (Glendora) also includes a gender neutral bathroom with a number lock. The location also shares the huge parking lot with the AMC (Glendora) and Barnes N' Nobles. Overall, Krak Boba (Glendora) is an unusual experience. It's an adequate drink with poorly made boba, but its base ingredients are solid. The drinks are either really refreshing or very sweet and creamy. Drinks are delicious! You can decide on your sugar level with each drink. Boba here is great! They do have one all gender restroom available for customers only. The lady who took my order was friendly and pleasant. She was very gracious in answering my questions. The only gripe I had was that I kept on leaning back to look at the menu that is right above the counter. It would have been nice if the menu was also on the counter for ease of reference. I sometimes forget what I read or saw. Anyway, I usually order 3 drinks - 2 for my daughters and 1 for me. Got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea + crystal boba, Wintermelon Milk Tea (Jasmine green tea) + egg pudding, and Peach Tea (Jasmine green tea) + lychee jelly all with 100% sweetness and no ice. My youngest daughter said her brown sugar milk tea was good. As for my eldest daughter and my drinks, the tea flavor was a bit strong... it had a bitter taste to it unfortunately. It's like you're getting penalized for being lactose in tolerant. I ordered an ice matcha with no sweetener and oat milk. I asked if there was milk powder in the matcha and they said no. Me and the kids really love boba! It's been a minute so we decided to try this new-to-us location. Walking inside, it's very clean, vibrant, and inviting. So much so, that they make games like, Uno, chess, and jenga available to patrons. Their menu is diverse with offerings of tea, snow, coffee drinks, and milk teas. Service was prompt! Been coming here and only here since they've opened a year ago! Their teas are authentic and strong, so you know they use quality tea leaves. Bobas are always fresh and chewy, never hard. One thing that stands out to me is that the staff and owner finds ways to include the community by laying out puzzles for guests to put together and by hosting karaoke Saturday nights! Even took my wife by surprise on how sweet it was. 4/5 Krak Coffee (added boba $0.87) is exactly what you'd think it would taste like....krak! Very strong coffee, which is exactly what I needed. Too strong for my wife but I'm the coffee fanatic. A quick drink of the brown sugar milk tea then the coffee had a nice mix to it (what? No unwritten rule about mixing drinks). Not too impressed, honestly. I went here to get some boba while running errands nearby, and my first impression is the sticker shock. $8+ for a drink with boba topping? Fortunately, I eyed a paper that said $2 off first order with the app, so I went through the process to download the app and make the order. It says up to 15 minutes, okay. I even went up to double check if the order went through, and they said yes, and just proceeded to clean up the area and chill afterwards. It was 20 minutes after and then a huge wave of customers went in, and theirs arrived after mine, calling numbers higher than mine. I then went back up to check, only to realize they had made the drink all along, just sitting in the fridge for 20 minutes. That partly affects the preparation and quality: I ordered the Guerilla Thai which is a slush with Thai tea, matcha, and sea cream, and of course I also added boba. As beautiful as it is with the orange and green, I only really tasted the Thai tea. I tasted none of the matcha and sea cream. I guess in their preparation, Thai tea and matcha just don't go well together. Boba is of average quality. I requested 50% sweet and it was still way too sweet, so I wasn't even sure if they even adjusted the level of sweetness. Overall, while the drinks sound and look interesting, I was underwhelmed by the price and quality. My husband and I attended the soft opening for Krak Boba and were very excited since we enjoy the one in Rancho Cucamonga. The storefront is bigger than the Rancho one with several tables which is nice. The employee who took our order was very friendly. I ordered the Dragonslayer with boba and my husband got a strawberry green tea with boba. I noticed that my drink was ready after maybe 7 minutes. However, my husband's was not for almost another 10 minutes so my drink did sit there until our full order was ready. I also did notice other order numbers after us were being called before we got our drinks. The dragon slayer was good and refreshing but wasn't blended as smooth as other boba slushes I've had. I think I do prefer the butterfly spritz tea because of that. The boba had a very nice texture, soft and chewy. Considering that this was a soft opening, I hope the crew will work out the kinks in time with the feedback they receive. I am excited to have a Krak Boba in Glendora so I will be back in the future to get my favorite butterfly spritz tea! There were no issues with parking as it shares a lot with the Diamond Ridge shopping center.
