I want to start off by saying I absolutely love this place and the people who run it. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel that positive energy the moment you walk in. It is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back not just for the food, but for the overall experience. I have had the chance to try a few different things on the menu so far, including their bagels (jalapeño cheese, my fav) and juices, and everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into the quality of their ingredients, and it really shows in every bite and sip. Most recently, I tried their turkey albondigas soup, and I was honestly blown away. The broth was rich and full of flavor, perfectly seasoned without being overpowering. What really surprised me was the albondigas themselves. I could not believe they were made with turkey. They were so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor that I would have guessed a different meat entirely. It is not easy to make turkey taste that good, but they absolutely nailed it. Overall, this place has quickly become one of my favorites. Great food, amazing service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is everything you could ask for. On June 9, 2026, my wife, kids, and I walked into this place and unfortunately weren't greeted by the staff. They weren't rude when we interacted with them, but they also weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. We ordered two sandwiches, a grilled cheese, and a salad. It took over 30 minutes to receive our food, which felt excessive for what we ordered. All the sandwiches and the grilled cheese came on sourdough bread, but the bread tasted stale. On the positive side, the ingredients themselves seemed fresh, which I do appreciate. I ordered the Pollo Asado Southwestern Chicken Sandwich, which sounded great on the menu, but it ended up being disappointing--the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. My wife ordered the chicken salad, and the portion of chicken was surprisingly small. It was served on the side in what looked like a small salsa container, and the dressing itself was also very bland. Overall, the food just lacked seasoning. I don't mind lighter seasoning or lower sodium, but everything tasted almost flavorless. My daughters ordered slushies, and those were also underwhelming--more like lightly flavored water than what you'd expect from a slush. The one thing that stood out in a positive way was that the place was clean, and again, most of the ingredients seemed fresh. The workers looked like they didn't even want to be there, which already set a negative tone. The avocado toast looked nothing like a fresh, properly prepared dish. I ordered the Miracle Juice ($14 - 24oz). It's beet, carrot, apple, kale, and lemon. This juice arrived lukewarm like fruit sweat. It's dense, bitter, and watery. This drink made me more thirsty. I arrived at Fresh Kitchen (Glendora) on Monday (around 8:40AM). Parking is easy. I immediately found street parking. Parking Sign states, "3 Hour Parking - 8AM to 6PM - Mon to Sat." Staff is not the most welcoming. Staff (receipt says Rachel) actively ignored me as I waited. For three minutes, Staff appeared almost visibly frustrated that customers were arriving. When Rachel finally spoke, Rachel was terse and curt. My drink took four minutes and 53 seconds. As mentioned, I'm not a fan of the Miracle Juice ($14 - 24oz). It arrived lukewarm. I barely tasted any carrots. Rather, the drink tasted like bitter warm popsicle juice droppings. Regarding ambiance, Fresh Kitchen (Glendora) is very clean but small. There's three small tables, worn-down walls, and upbeat music. Surprisingly, there's even one electrical outlet near the corner. This small location does not have a customer restroom; however, there's a bottle of hand sanitizer for guests. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at Fresh Kitchen (Glendora). Despite its popular location, the opportunity feels wasted. Service was subpar; drinks were not the freshest; and prices felt unjustified. I spent $25.92 for a veggie wrap with chicken and avocado.... and it wasn't as full as it used to be. That's insane. I normally tip but no way was I going to spend any more money on this. Yes- I could've walked away but I figured ok if it's what I always get I'll support it. I am craving it. I only ever came here for their veggie wrap for years. I have been coming here for years and I love the quinoa salad, so I was so excited that they kept their menu and I really appreciate the addition of boba to it. However this place is hit or miss. Today, everything was undercooked. The black beans and the quinoa salad were hard, as was the Boba in my friend's Jasmine tea. Last time I came, the jasmine tea was over brewed and bitter. My first impression walking in was how clean, cute, and quaint it was. I was quickly approached by a friendly staff who gave me a few minutes to look at the menu as it was my first visit. After a few minutes of still not deciding, I was approached by the owner who made some good recommendations and answered my questions about the menu. I finally decided on the milk tea with chocolate popping Boba. I was pleased that the milk tea was not too sweet and had a strong tea flavor like I prefer. I had never seen anyone offer chocolate popping Boba before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and how well it went with the milk tea. It is a good alternative if you are trying to cut back on Boba, which is much starchier and calorie dense. I also decided to order the tuna salad sandwich. The tuna had good flavor with red onion and celery and not overly heavy with mayonnaise. I opted to go with toasted bread and all together it made for a great sandwich. I'm a big fan of this little spot in Glendora village. It's a convenient lunch spot since I also work in the village. I have been ordering their quinoa salads for lunch weekly, for about a year now. I've referred many of our clientele to this place specifically for their quinoa salads. Initially I loved the salads because of how flavorful and filling they are. They were always consistent with flavor and the customer service was great. More recently over the past 2 months I have noticed a major change when it comes to the attitudes of the employees and the quality of their quinoa salad. The first situation that upset me was when I ordered a quinoa salad over the phone, something I always do. I was told to wait 20min for it to be ready, which was no problem. When I arrived to pick up my order the woman told me they were out of quinoa. Of course I was confused since I had placed my order over the phone 20min prior. She then said "the girl that took your order is new and doesn't know anything." Of course this was super annoying and inconvenient since I spent half of my lunch break waiting for this meal. Additionally I have noticed the salad has not been consistent as far as flavor. Some days there is an excessive amount of lime and on other days it's tasteless. So now it's really just hit or miss when it comes to ordering this specific dish. Over the past 2 weeks I have been very disappointed with the quality of the salad and avocados used. At first I assumed it was an accident that I got an occasional avocado skin or the avocado stem nub in my salad but 3 times in a row seems careless. The avocados also aren't as fresh anymore. My most recent order(s) had brown spots on the avocado. It's disappointing to see how careless they have become when it comes to providing quality food. Anyhow, I was expecting banana and strawberry as fruit toppings on my acai. The menu does say banana & strawberry but really it's only bananas and the strawberry is blended in the acai. Coming here was by far the weirdest/worst customer experience I have ever had. Word to the wise, don't come here expecting anything remotely quickly, or in my case, to even be served at all. I came in about 11am today with my girlfriend, who ordered her juice and a wheatgrass shot before me. Now there is a sign up that says we make everything to order, so I was happy to wait to place my order next; however it was not to be. I stood in front of the cash register(alone mind you, my girlfriend had sat down, and there was another woman waiting, no one else even near me), but after making the juice shots, the girl behind the counter ignored me completely, even letting a customer who came in after me with a phone order pay and walk out with a bowl while I just stood right there. Furthermore, right after that, the employee made herself a smoothie, said goodbye to her co worker in the back, and walked out of the store! He then came out to give my GF her juice and asked if I needed anything, and that he could make me a juice after he finished with another phoned in order, but at this point, I had been standing in front of the counter for at least 20 minutes and wanted to wait no further, so we left. Since my hair salon is right next door at Bobbi Pins, I always go to Drink ur Greens to get a bite while waiting for my hair to process. Always taste fresh and like I just made it at home. I have not had anything I do not like. A couple of tables and chairs outside makes for a nice lunch. And ask if you don't see it on the menu, if they have the ingredients, they will make it for you. The pricing may be considered on the high side for a sandwich, but for freshly made food and drinks, I can't complain. 100% better than a McDonald's cheeseburger for your health. read more
