No notes! Everything is spot on. The pastries are consistently fresh and genuinely some of the best I've had locally. If I had to come up with a complaint, it would only be that things sell out fast but honestly, that just speaks to how good everything is. You learn pretty quickly that if you want your favorites, you have to get there early. On my way out of Glendora Village, I saw Crust & Crumble Bakery. They were about to close for the day. Luckily, I got inside just in time. It's a small shop with limited seating inside and outside. No public restroom. They didn't have many baked goods left, but they did have some cookies and tarts. I didn't want to leave without buying something. I got a few caramel tarts which were so smooth and good plus one of each of these cookies... molasses (just okay), oatmeal white chocolate cranberry (my favorite out of the 4... so yummy!), peanut butter (very soft), and white chocolate (a tad on the sweeter side IMHO). The lady staff was super sweet. I paid for my items quickly. I was out of here in a jiffy. They closed shop shortly after my exit. I would love to return and see what other baked goods, sandwiches, and drinks they have to offer. read more

Excellent local bakery in the Glendora area that pumps out good bread and bakery items! After coming here a few times, I've got nothing but good things to say and a highly recommended place to dine at or pick up if you're in the area. As soon as you enter the restaurant, all their baked good items on the display case is so mouth watering and enticing. My favorite baked good items are their coffee cakes, danishes, muffins, sourdough bread, and all the cookies. NOTE: Their in house sourdough bread is not only to die for, but sells out what feels like within minutes of them opening up on the weekends. That's how delicious their bread is. Another baked good that I consider to die for is their lemon pistachio olive oil cake that's placed by the register. The cake is moist and there's a good lemon flavor with a crunch of pistachio with every bite. Every time I'm in downtown Glendora whether it's for a stroll or an errand, Crust & Crumble is always my pit stop. The breakfast & lunch menu is also excellent and they use their in house sourdough for all the sandwiches. The Crusty, Jalapeno Honey, Italian, and BLTA are my favorites. I'm looking forward to trying all the sandwiches and breakfast offerings in my future trips. I've only tried the cold brew here and I can say they use some good quality beans. The restaurant is long and small and can only fit about 2 people width wise as there are 3-4 tables that can seat 2 people per table inside. They do have outdoor seating available. Restaurant is clean and I believe there isn't a bathroom for the public. During the weekdays, you would be able to order and get your food pretty quick. However, on the weekends, expect the line to be out the door due to it being small plus the weekend crowd. Most of the items on the breakfast & lunch menu will take a minimum of 20 minutes during the weekends. I've always had excellent customer service with the staff on every visit. They are personable, friendly, and will take their time to answer all the questions. Parking is never an issue with plenty of street parking and multiple parking lots. read more

We have been coming to this bakery for a year now, and it has become my go to for coffee ever since we moved to the location. Now, if you're looking for a quick coffee spot. This is a place for you! The coffee is great, the employees are nice. And I've never had a bad experience when it comes to coffee. However, if you're looking for a quick breakfast spot, this is not the place. We have came here twice for food rather than coffee. And both times we waited 20-30 just for sandwiches. When you're ordering, the employees do give you a warning that it is going to take a while for anything on the grill to come out. But the second time we came to this place, we waited almost 40 minutes for two sandwiches. And we understand that they're busy, but however, we probably won't be returning here for food. We were looking for a bakery and found this one. It had a cute gingerbread display in the window. Since it was New Year's Eve , I wasn't sure if we'd find anything. Luckily they had exactly what I needed in the back... everything was gone. I really need to return because the menu looks yummy. The girl was so helpful and looked for the bread I wanted, she even waited for the fresh rolls to come out. The bread was freshly made and smelled delicious - it was as good as it smelled. The baguette was soft inside and crunchy outside the perfect bite with olive oil. The slider rolls were soft, fluffy and yummy. I have been here three times in the last month to get different pastries. The pastries are definitely good. Today I decided to get a sandwich. Every time I go in there it seems so tight and overcrowded and you could stand there for up to 10 minutes before someone greets you. The staff members are always talking to each other and not acknowledging whoever walks in. I ordered a dry simple sandwich today and after waiting more than 15 minutes, I asked the young guy if it was ready, and he said no, but I thought that was odd. I waited a few more minutes and asked one of the girls, and it turned out My sandwich was sitting on the counter. They were also missing one of my desserts. I really think they need to figure out a more organized and efficient way of taking orders and distributing the food. It's taking way too long and things are being missed. read more

I have been a regular customer for quite a while. Their pastries, breads, and sandwiches are the best in the city (by far) But what's more lovely is how much they care about their customers. Today I bought one of their delicious olive oil cakes to serve for Easter. Unfortunately, my golden retriever decided he needed to eat it before Easter which resulted in an expensive trip to the vet. Last year I had a Crust & Crumble Bakery custom make cookies for my wedding in October. I looked everywhere for a place that could do so for a reasonable price and I am so glad I found this spot. Amanda was SO helpful and she sent me beautiful renderings of the design, as well as revisions all included with the price of the cookies. Which is not bad at all! I wandered in looking for a light mid-afternoon snack, but my eyes quickly gravitated to the apple pie in the cabinet and I bought the whole pie for $21, which is an amazing value for this quality of the pie. I ordered an Italian sandwich and a chicken pesto sandwich. The Italian sandwich is a cold sandwich on a baguette. It was very meaty and filling. The chicken pesto sandwich is a hot sandwich and really tasty. Both were fresh and delicious. As far as baked goods, I ordered their coconut pineapple cake and strawberry danish. I highly recommend the coconut pineapple cake. Staff at the bakery were very friendly and helpful. The bakery itself is small with a few small tables inside. I went in for a coffee and pastry and left with a sandwich too! It was lunchtime on a Friday and they were already out of sourdough and baguette. They could only offer me wheat or 2 slider buns. I will say that the slider bun was really soft and delicious. The turkey pesto sandwich was very tasty with every ingredient meticulously added. The cold brew with their homemade brown sugar syrup was also good. The only con I'd say was that they took forever to make one sandwich-let alone 2. Recommended to try this bakery by the owner of Creme coffee shop in Pomona! They love these pastries so much that they sell fresh ones there at the coffee shop. Well I had to go check out the source location, of course! At 8:45 this morning, I arrived and parked across the street in downtown Glendora. There was already a line of 6 people in the bakery. It moved super fast though, probably because everyone there besides me was a local loyal customer who knew exactly what they wanted. I bought a dozen different pastries to share with my husband's awesome office staff. So it was fun choosing from the many varieties.
