I placed an order for a smoothie with 3 scoops of soy protein, but the manager on duty gave me a watered-down version of my drink and failed to include the protein. When I pointed this out, she acknowledged the mistake but informed me she couldn't honor the 25% discount I had earned--despite the error being entirely on her end. Rather than take responsibility or try to make it right, she insisted on charging me extra without honoring the discount. To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund, she said it would take 10 days to process. That felt more like a penalty for their mistake than a solution. I couldn't help but feel I was being dismissed based on assumptions about my appearance. As a Hispanic woman with blonde hair, I expect to be treated with respect, not disregarded based on how someone thinks I look. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable with basic customer service training. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed immediately. This Jamba Juice location can be found in the same plaza as Ross, specifically next door to The Habit. Look for the clock and you will find Jamba Juice right underneath it. Since the Jamba Juice in Duarte was already closed, I decided to make a mobile order for pick up at this location. I made an order this past Monday evening at 7:33 pm and picked ASAP for the time pick up. The app showed me that it would be ready at 7:38 pm. I didn't arrive until 7:45 pm. When my husband (I was waiting in the car) went inside to pick up my order, the employee inside didn't know where our order was. He was searching and said he will just put together my order and heat up my items. So my husband had to wait an additional 5-6 minutes. This is what I had ordered: Cheddar Tomato Twist, $3.25 prior to tax- Thought this was kind of plain tasting and wished the tomato was not so dry. I think this could have had a bit more cheese on it too. I wouldn't recommend this baked good again. Pretzel, $3.25 prior to tax- This pretzel was pretty good. I liked the cheese and thought the pretzel had a good chew to it. I think for the price, it is a fair size. There is a sweet pretzel that you can order for the same price by the way. --------------------------------- (Total= $7.16 after tax) A bit disappointed that our order was not ready, even though we arrived 7 minutes after the app told me it would be ready and disappointed that my husband had to wait another 5- 6 minutes for the employee to put it together. The store closed at 9:45 pm on Monday and the place was pretty empty so not sure why there was a delay and a need to wait when I ordered ahead of time (isn't that that whole point of the app?). When the doors were finally open, there was only one person behind the counter and the person didn't seem to care about the inconvenience. This location has been going downhill for a while. This place has the ambiance of a cemetery. It doesn't feel fun to be in and you don't feel welcome to be there, especially when the place doesn't offer what the other locations have. A horrific and unpleasant experience dealing with an employee named Mikayla (spelling unsure). I made a pickup order prior to 6 PM scheduled for 9:10 PM. When I arrived, the lights were already off, and Mikayla told me she was the only one working and needed to leave by 9:50 PM. This is the SAME excuse she gave another customer in another Yelp review. I explained that I had placed the order hours ago and it was just for pickup. She insisted I cancel the order on the app, though there was no such option. Her response was extremely rude, and she begrudgingly agreed to make it after I kept insisting for her to complete an order I had already paid for. Mikayla then fumbled through multiple receipts (how many orders did you get and not complete?), asking me which one was mine. She SLAMMED a blender onto the counter. I pointed out that it wasn't a drink - just a food item needing heating. She abruptly told me to leave, mumbled some profanities, called her "manager" Justin and twisted the story, falsely claiming I had caused trouble. Mikayla said Justin instructed me to leave. This "manager" didn't even listen to what the situation was from the customer's perspective. It's clear Mikayla continuously takes advantage of being the one who closes shop and closes up early, every single day. Corporate could easily identify this abusive behavior as they won't have any orders after 9 PM. The store should close at 9:45 PM, but Mikayla insists on leaving early, stealing money from the company as well as customers who placed pick up orders past 9 PM. In the time Mikayla spent arguing, she could have easily heated up the food item. Unfortunately, I ended up paying for something I never received. I strongly advise against visiting this location due to this unfortunate experience. I will be escalating this up the chain. read more

Didn't realize/remember there is a Jamba Juice right around the corner. And at the "college plaza" with all the useful shops and restaurant, no less. Having this location is especially a blessing for me, since there is a Habit Grill right next door. I enjoy Habit a lot, probably one of my top go-to burger places, so being able to order something from each chain next to each other is convenience and happiness overload. This is *especially* useful around my birthday: pick up my free cheeseburger from Habit, then go next door to receive my free small smoothie. A complete albeit small BUT FREE meal all in one trip! As to the quality and taste of the smoothies, truth be told, they vary from location to location. The Jamba around Santa Monica gave me great smoothies in the past. This location, not so much, or not *as* much. It feels somewhat average. I know--It all depends on how's on duty at a particular shift, it seems like. Some staff gets the proportions right, some don't. But at the end of the day, it's a blended beverage. Most people get it right. The staff at this Azusa location seems to be quick and good spirited in general. I recently ordered a "Greens and Apples", or something to that degree. Plant based, has kale in it (I think), quite healthy. Tastes pretty good too, though you gotta keep mixing it since separation happens fast and constantly. I am not sure if this is due to lowering of quality as other Yelpers have mentioned. Something to keep in mind if you happen to choose this option. Nevertheless, Jamba is Jamba. Even the worst cup Jamba Juice is still pretty decent. Over the years, it never really upset me so, so I think I will continue to be a customer when the mood strikes, which isn't too often, tbh. (I do have my own Ninja at home after all.) Just make sure you're part of the rewards program to take advantage of all the perks! read more
