Have a recent experience that left a sour taste with this location. We get birthday cakes from them a few times a years since we live a few blocks from the store. It was my birthday, wife got me a cake for about $40. When we opened the cake, we noticed the front side was about an inch shorter than the back. We cut an about a third of the cake for everyone serving. The ice cream tasted crystallized. Re-affirmed the odd shape with the front being an inch shorter than the back. My guess is someone might have not closed the freezer door tight, leading to the front part of the cake melted and then re-frozen later on. Anyhow, my wife brought the cake back to the store. The worker contacted the manager over the phone. They had my wife leave the cake and said they would contact her. They never contacted her. 2 days passed. She contacted them and got a hold of the manager. Manager said cake is up to their standards, they can't refund. They can reimburse another cake, it has to be smaller since we already ate some of the cake. The customer experience is just not a priority for them. The trouble we went through, do they really think we were just trying to get some freebies from them. The smaller cake they replaced for us is a third of the original cake, so they gyp us a third of a cake. read more

Haven't been to this location in years and the remodel was overall great the ambience and cleanliness. Of this location was top tier, The service and warm friendly smile of the team members was very much appreciated. I really appreciate going into a environment where the staff are happy to help and recommend accommodations. My favorite flavor is mint chip. I have to say hands down the bus flavor. My daughter wanted to try it for her birthday so we went along with it; however, she didn't like it at all. Because I did a Yelp check in, I was able to snag a 15% discount. With tax, the total came to $3.09. The receipt has a coupon - buy one sundae, get one for 99 cents. They also accept orders for custom ice cream cakes. Plenty of designs to choose from. They need 24 hours notice. I will certainly be back, next time with my babies. Baskin Robbins is like "Shakey's Pizza Parlor" and "In 'n' Out Burger", they are apart of Southern California culture and have been around (1945) for so long, they should be considered an institution by now. I want to see places like this continue to exist. Not many other franchises have experienced the same longevity. Baskin Robbins deserves to exist for posterity sake. They are great at what they do and helped set the standards in franchising many years ago. It's common knowledge that Ice cream tastes better than frozen yogurt. Worst place to get ice cream. They are so unorganized here, the staff is always confused and there is no way to form a line so they skip people around. When they mess up your order and you tell them, they ask for you to pay for another one because they already served it. If you charge me for add ons and you grab the wrong ones, how is that my fault? If you make a mistake, then just acknowledge it instead of telling me if I want to pay for the add ons again because you can't take the ice cream back. We ordered one banana split, to share it. With three vanillas scoops, nuts, and only strawberry's. They don't put nuts, they actually put sliced almonds and they taste so good. They also put whip cream and cherries on top. My girlfriend and I are not really a fan of how their cherry tastes. All in all, I recommend ordering their banana split. I ended up coming here again the next day and ordered two banana splits, one for me and one for her. I ordered extra strawberry's, extra almonds, it was so good. A few day's later we tried the warm brownie with two vanilla scoops and hot fudge, almonds and whip cream. However, I ordered three scoops of vanilla for her. Usually come here instead of La Verne location. This location actually includes all toppings for layered sundaes. A two scoop sundae on the other hand is way too expensive for how much they gave. My friend and I and her kids went to dinner and then took the 2 boys for ice cream at the BR next door. What a difference. The boys got the shark sundaes. They actually got more ice cream in their little sundae than I got in my 2 scoop hot fudge sundae. We asked how much of a banana you get in the banana royal which my friend got.
