First time ever coming here, and it was pretty good. The large milk shake did not disappoint at all; it definitely hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly. The ambience though, is something I'm not used to, different, but I didn't mind the night vibes. My only gripe is parking, ugh! There's nothing new or exciting added to the ice cream. It's the same vanilla soft serve, medium dip cone, but the price is gone up to $6.75. McDonald's has a vanilla soft serve cone for $1.75 and IKEA has vanilla and I believe some sort of berry soft serve cone for $1.00. That being said it wasn't that enjoyable and it gave me a stomach ache. And the chocolate dip was a little waxy. read more

Local fave. Next to the drive up dairy and across from our local Vons and Starbucks sits a Glendora classic, Fosters Freeze. We mostly stick to ice cream but you can get a burger and other items and they do have a small inside area. Nothing fancy at all. It's what you'd expect but solid. The reason we come to Fosters is that it's a treat for the family or a place to meet up with friends. The chocolate dipped vanilla cone is always my go to and I don't get anything other than that. It reminds me of a small place in NC where I spent a few years of my youth that our soccer coach would take us to after practice - back when the team would hop in the back of the truck for a ride to grab ice cream (different times). That place was called Rooneys Ive cream and they had soft serve and chocolate dipped just like Fosters. Sometimes the best places are the ones where memories are made. For me, it's taking the kids out for ice cream after a school concert or game. It's enjoying a late night treat for no reason. That's what Fosters is for us. Yes, the ice cream is great. Bad service to begin with, most girls taking orders & serving have attitude rolling eyes. Bananas for the banana splits are overripe & black (bruised bad). We complained about the bad bananas because we just couldn't eat it of how bad it was all they did is add another half --mind you less bruised but overripe. I give the benefit of doubt several times and it just gets worse. It's only ice cream I just don't understand--NEED QUALITY BANANAS!! read more

My friend got a chocolate ice cream cone and I ordered a banana split -- both were delicious! She said her cone tasted just like Hershey's Kisses, which was fun. My banana split was fresh, sweet, and topped just right. Service was okay, nothing over the top but friendly enough. I liked all the colorful posters on the windows -- it gives the place a nostalgic, old-school vibe. We visited on an early Wednesday afternoon with a group of 5 people. The young girl working, took our order right away and it was ready within 5-6 minutes. This place reminds me of the ice cream/custard shops of my youth. Colorful pictures of dessert options taped to the glass. Young and older alike sitting outside on picnic tables on each side of the order & pickup windows enjoying their favorite while talking and laughing. The service was fast, the servers were friendly and the order was correct. We got a hot fudge sundae, root beer float and a single vanilla cone. They were delicious! Fosters Freeze has always been a childhood staple for me. Delicious soft serve, shakes, and twisters (basically a blizzard from Dairy Queen). You can make all types of flavor combos and it always hits the spot. The people that work there are very nice and have quick service. It has gotten a wee bit expensive over the years but I keep coming back. I love getting a mint oreo twister mmmm my favorite. Maybe I have to go again tonight now that I think about it! Definitely takes me back to my youth. Love soft serve ice cream, especially dipped cones! I opted for the new chocolate dipped waffle cone, which is basically your adult version of the iconic drumstick. Can be a little messy unless you're really eating fast, but that's part of the nostalgia. Service is definitely fast and friendly and worthy of five stars, but price was like $8.25 and like $10 with tip. They have the old school soft serve chocolate dipped cones(various sizes) that have that "waxy" feel to the dip when you bite into it. This is something I recall from my childhood and I love Foster's Freeze for this! Call me nostalgic. But I know what I like! Seating area is also old school and has smaller benches for seating. So most likely made for grade school students. It's a popular spot and gets crowded pretty quickly and parking becomes very limited. Come here if you like your favorite childhood treats. Nice and velvet with a good vanilla flavor. And the chocolate dip had that chocolate flavor I was looking for! The gal at the window was very nice and the location was very nice. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5
